I scheduled an appointment that was canceled the morning of my visit due to an office error. Later that same day, I received a call asking if I was still coming, even though the cancellation was on their end. I was understanding and acknowledged that mistakes happen. I was seen twice without being asked for a referral. However, on my third visit--when I needed to be seen urgently to follow up on my surgery--I was told at the front desk that I could not be seen without a referral. My urgency as a post-surgery patient did not seem to matter, despite having already been seen twice without any issue. Additionally, the doctor ordered custom shoe inserts that were supposed to be ready within two weeks in November. I was never contacted. December passed, and by late January I called to ask about them. I was told they were ready. When I went to pick them up, the inserts were approximately two inches larger than my actual size. I expected the doctor to examine my foot and ensure everything was correct, especially after surgery, but no evaluation was done. The inserts were simply handed to me without any follow-up or concern. Overall, I feel this was poor patient care and a lack of professionalism. I do not usually leave negative reviews, especially for medical clinics, but this experience was very frustrating. I will not be returning to this clinic and will need to schedule an appointment with another orthopedist.

He was very confident that he could give do the surgery and improve my quality of life as it pertained to my foot pain and issues. I am going to be honest, there was a good amount of work done to my foot. Repair a plantar plate, fix a mild bunion, and remove 2 neuromas. He said he needed to shorten the second toe. I did everything that he told me to do. I did physical therapy in his office for the full recommended time. I went every week wearing 2 masks in a crowded office. I did all recommendations...Alex Brinlee my PT was excellent. However, Dr Feldman kept pushing the goalpost when I was not pain-free with the right amount of mobility in my foot. First, it was, give it 3 or 4 months....then, it takes at least 6 months, then, 9 months I am sure it will be better, and finally, this usually takes a year...Well, we are about 1.5 years post and my second toe doesn't move, the pain barefoot is the same or worse and I STILL can only wear sneakers comfortably. I cannot WEAR a small wedge or simple ONE inch heel. He said that I would be able to wear better shoes and was VERY confident. One visit that I had where I was complaining about my pain and the thickness on my foot, he ASSURED me that the thickness GOES AWAY and also told me that my x-ray was beautiful. Hmmm...Oh, I am glad my x-ray looks so lovely but how about you acknowledge how the PATIENT feels? I definitely felt he was being extremely arrogant. So, as time has gone on, I am very grateful that I can walk. I am grateful that I have my foot! But not happy with the outcome of my surgery. I did NOT want to post this review, but I wrote Dr Feldman a letter letting him know of my displeasure. Of course, he did NOT respond to me. That in itself speaks volumes. I want say that while I do NOT think that Dr. Feldman did anything WRONG. It just happened but his arrogance and lack of solutions are what is disappointing. Oh, let me not forget to mention that he recommended that I "protect my investment" by purchasing $300 custom insoles that HURT SO MUCH I CANNOT WEAR them. A total waste of money. Think twice about going to this practice!!!! Is this the type of doctor you want? Arrogance and no offering of better solutions to what a patient considers a FAILED surgery?

They are all honest, professional, compassionate, personal and care about their clients, which I am proud to say I'm one of them. Originally I went to see Dr. Raffo because I was worried about my osteoporosis because I woke up one morning, and my hip, lower back was hurting and had tingling with pain in my lower back, but because I had gotten the Demosumab Injection for my bones I was worried about getting an x-rays so I prolonged the appointment. My left back muscles were hurting and causing pain. By the time my appointment came the pain had subsided. Because I work in a café it is just a matter of time before the pain comes back and starts to bother me again, so I talked to Dr. Raffo about starting back up with physical therapy. Thank you, Dr. Raffo, Janae and Rana for all you do and have done for me.

They all work as a team and support each other. Communication with Natalie, the office manager was wonderful. Making appointments is easy and flexible. They are open from 8-4 Mon, Wed, and Fri and 8-6 on Tue and Thursday. Dr. Jonathan is trained in dry needling which was a game changer for me. I recently had spinal fusion surgery after two years of debilitating lower back pain due to a…read moreserious disk herniation, and misaligned vertebra. During these two years my range of activity was severely constrained - it was nearly impossible to exercise, do social things, even shop for groceries or take a leisurely/extended walk. Prior to my surgery, I'd tried many treatment approaches which turned out unhelpful (physical therapy, osteopathic manipulations, pilates, massage, acupuncture, epidural cortisone injections and more). After surgery I knew that physical rehabilitation would be essential for getting back to full activities, but did not wish to go back to the run of the mill physical therapy regimen where therapists see me for 15 minutes, do not have time to carefully assess my condition, and hand me print-outs with tiny images of generic exercises. I sought a more deliberate, well informed and personally tailored mode of rehabilitation. Luckily, through referrals from trusted medical professionals, I found Wellness Rehabilitation, in Kensington MD. From the first session with Cynthia Weiss I realized that she offered a different and superior approach. We work on subtle core muscles control to protect the spine and we examine thoroughly my posture in daily functions (walking, lifting, reaching, sitting and lying down). Cynthia's work also includes effective hands-on techniques for relieving trigger points pain and post-surgical muscle spasms, and she is very attentive to any information I provide about my body's responses. The one-on-one, full hour sessions are delightful and very helpful. Cynthia helps me understand my body's biomechanics, and she gives me insightful tips for homework exercises to enhance the use of core muscles while protecting the back from unnecessary strain. It is worth mentioning that I've been an avid dancer prior to my lower back issues so Cynthia's involvement in this type of activity is an extra bonus for me. Currently, two months after surgery, I am pain-free, am able to take long walks in the parks, do shopping, household chores, and engage socially. I would say to anyone reading this that you are in good hands with Cynthia, and things are likely to improve. Be diligent about the homework exercises and remain optimistic.
