I can say enough about the expertise and knowledgeable staff. The front office is well run. (I knew throughout the process what my financial obligation would be) The staff was very supportive and helpful during my 8 weeks of recovery. My physical therapist moved out of state but I had full access to their entire team. The atmosphere was light and friendly with everyone seemingly getting along. I followed their instructions to the letter and recovered with minimal discomfort. Unfortunately, due to injuries, I will probably return as another patient from unrelated injuries. I have no reservations in returning for physical therapy. read more

Coming up on knee replacement surgery I was lost trying to find physical therapy location that had good reviews. ATI on La Canada stood out. It's been a great choice. I highly recommend their well staffed facility. In sharing my experience with others that I've had knee replacement surgery, I consistently get no one did that for me. Many people do not like to attend and practice physical therapy consistently. I used to be one of those people. I've had 5 serious ortho surgeries since turning 45. These all stem from scoliosis which has caused imbalance in my skeletal structure and a lot of muscle-joint compensation between my right and left sides. My biggest nemesis is chronic lumbar back pain. A month ago I had my right hip replacement revised for the second time due to repeated dislocation. Ouch! Following the surgery, for my PT rehab, I chose ATI because a very dear friend recommended it. First, it is conveniently located--less than 5 minutes from my home in Oro Valley. Second, scheduling was very easy and smooth. I was able to start PT immediately and I was given ideal appointment times --three times per week. Upon my first visit, I was welcomed by a very kind, attentive therapist, Heidi, who is also the director of the facility. She was very gentle and took a lot of time to take measurements and movement assessments. She also gave me some therapeutic muscle tissue massage after applying moist heat. Heidi is very personable --actually funny and entertaining--and we had a great conversation that worked in perfectly with my treatment. It turns out we're both from Wisconsin and she is a huge Packers fan. After about 30 minutes I had another great therapist --Mary--working with me through gentle exercises. Mary is also a great therapist with a gracious bedside manner. I get to work with her for the majority of my sessions, which makes me very happy! I attend PT consistently because I WANT to. I set a goal with Heidi, a key incentive--reminding me of how good I want to feel --and the most important part of my goal is to safely, comfortably and spontaneously play on the floor with my grandsons, Archie and Louis. I will reach that goal soon! Other outstanding therapists I've worked with are Cody, who is very kind, friendly, funny considerate and supportive. Another great therapist, Jared, is also very outgoing, full of energy, extremely helpful and friendly. This staff is very well put-together, and everyone works as a team. They all addresses me by my name, and everyone seems to have the same mission and standards of quality--everyone is on the same page every day. This is a very professionally-run facility. It's really an inspiration to see how every individual is dedicated to provide consistent quality support and therapy to the patients. I can't express how fantastic my experience at ATI - Oro Valley has been. After a shoulder injury, I began physical therapy at ATI in October. Unfortunately, after a couple months, my symptoms were still present so I had a procedure done in April. From April-August, I went back to ATI for my post-op physical therapy. The staff here are amazing. They are fun, upbeat and remember every single person's name after the first visit - even if you aren't their patient. They provide each patient with one on one attention, explain in detail the exercises they are teaching and provide a great at home program to follow during your "off" days.
