At 62, after an athletically-active lifestyle for the past 44 years--track, basketball, mountain biking, weightlifting and golf, I thought those things were waning due to pain. Thankfully, Dr. Klingman diagnosed the problem accurately and went to work. Guy's a genius. Each session was conducted by highly competent PT's and PTA's. Each person was personable, a good listener, not overbearing and truly concerned with the process. This was a true 5-Star experience. If you've had trauma or a chronic situation you might think is hopeless, see this team.

I was surprised to see that he hadn't looked at my file, because although I was referred for back pain, he asked me what my goal was. I learned later that they don't have time to read referrals. I was also given a PT assistant, and told I would be working with her. But when I each time I asked her questions, she has to run to the therapist and ask. I tried to be in on the conversations, but they blocked me out. So it seemed like she was doing on the job training, and was not certified. He knows I have scoliosis and sciatic! but he gave me exercises that aggravated the pain.while I was doing the exercises, neither of them stuck around. I told the therapist that the exercises hurt. He didn't offer alternatives but said we would talk about it at a later appointment. The whole time, the assistant was running around tending to to other patients, and the therapist was sitting on a stool spacing out. i could have learned more from a book or a YouTube video The next day, I spoke to the clinic manager. I told her about what I wrote above, and also that I didn't like their business model, which was hiring as few people as possible and paying them peanuts, so only the worst and cheapest would work for them, and they could make as much money as possible. She admitted that that was indeed their business model. So basically a money laundering scam fronting as a PT clinic. Stay away!

Ari, Chad, Hector, Jared, and Matt have been fantastic. If something hurts, they do their best to fix it. I was definitely reluctant about my treatment when I began. I was taught growing up that you go to a chiropractor for your back. And sure, they definitely know how to pop your back and make things feel great in the short term, but they never fix the problem and they keep you coming back. I can tell you Chad is just as good if not better at popping things than any chiropractor I've seen and, while he and everyone here is great, they do their best to get you fixed as fast as they can so you don't have to keep coming back.

There are several assistants working with patients as we go through our exercises and there is a good sense of team work with all of the staff. You have to wash your hands before being seen and they spray down the tables and equipment before you use it. I still see Andy and still really appreciate his help. I see him for my back and knees. I have ongoing low back pain but developed tightness in my upper back that was restricting my breathing and he gave me some new exercises for that that has really helped me to be able to breathe more freely. Andy tailors the exercises to my needs and I have found them to be extremely helpful. He has a wide variety of tools and techniques to adapt to your needs. The dry needling is helpful when my muscles are really tight. If I need to be taped, he will do so. He will show you how to tape yourself as well. I sometimes get heat or ice-with a tens unit (electrical stimulation). If one thing doesn't help, there will be an alternative. The front staff are always friendly and helpful. A bonus is the deer that come down in front of the business to drink water and feed on the tree.

APT is in a GREAT location (right in the middle of town). Super easy to get to from work and they are pretty accommodating to my stupidly hectic schedule. Parking is convenient and all I have to do when I walk in the door is sign my name to the clipboard and start working. Therapists and trainers listen when I say if something's working or not. They don't make me sit around waiting for them and they don't sit around waiting for me. They push me when I need to be pushed. They don't let me slack off when I'm lazy. They take copious notes about every little thing I tell them and then, surprisingly, they remember when I come in the next time. Environment is fun and they're usually playing some funky music, which makes being there more fun. Most importantly, in my effort to rehab my knee and back, things have started to gradually feel better - not 100% yet - but feel like I'm taking steps to being on that path.

Kendal and Mary from the day shift made the mornings bearable and also went above and beyond. Doctor W is incredible, he was very sweet and I actually felt like he listened to me and my concerns and was eager to help make adjustments. The PT and OT staff are all great but I definitely felt a connection with Derick, Holly and Kelley. Luis was also very easy to work with I wish I had more time with him. All of the therapist listened and compromised with me in my care when I had pain or discomfort, worked with me and my family to meet my goals. There could be a few changes for us younger patients as the care is definitely centered towards the elder community. But over all I can see why this place was highly recommended. I hope the only time I am ever back there is to show those who cared for that I can walk again unassisted in a few months. But if I'm ever in a situation where I need the care I received I am making sure EHR is where I'll be headed.
