Note that this is an out of pocket physical therapist but I'm squeezing all the value and learning I can out of each visit. They offer pelvic floor therapy as well as traditional therapy. I love how this space is home not only to yoga and Pilates but also massage and physical therapy. Gracie has been very supportive in this process- from both the pelvic floor aspects to discussing my bone density scan and goals to get back on track. I was billed around $400 per day, even though my sessions did not always last a full hour and were sometimes much shorter. Based on my experience, the way the services and billing were explained to me did not match what actually happened. I consider that misleading and believe their advertising and promises about costs were not clear or accurate. I have waited patiently for years trying to get this resolved. I also called several times and did not receive return calls. That made me feel like my concerns only mattered when money was involved. In my experience, this practice gave the impression that patient care came first, but the way my billing concerns were handled made me feel that collecting money was the main priority. I would strongly recommend that anyone considering this place get every statement about pricing, session length, discounts, insurance, and bill negotiations in writing before agreeing to treatment. I am sharing this because I do not want another person to make a major financial decision based on promises that may later change. I will continue documenting what happened, seeking legal advice, and considering complaints with the appropriate agencies regarding the billing practices and representations that were made to me.

Amirah Butler is a great listener who can guide a patient through the appropriate questions to start the diagnosis's process. After my first visit, it was determined that I required an SI joint procedure to help reduce the pain. Dr. Jacob Ramsey-Morrow was the physician who performed the procedure. It was performed at the Neuroscience Building on West 16th Street in the same department as Amirah Butler is located. Additional tests are required before we move forward with another procedure she recommended. Of course, it will be a few weeks before we can proceed with the next step. I'm anxious to complete the tests and treatments as quickly as possible. I realize no one wants to rush through, and they must be overly cautious to be safe. Once the process is complete, I'll update my review of the staff. So far, Amirah Butler and Dr. Ramsey-Morrow has been very professional, knowledgeable, and attentive.

She asks a lot of direct questions to ensure she is giving you the appropriate therapeutic exercises, both in the office and when you leave. She is firm, yet gentle. I will warn you, physical therapy is not going to cure you overnight. It is also not necessary going to be easy or feel good right away, but it is completely worth your quality of life from doing it. If you are willing to look at all of the physical therapy options available, I highly recommend calling her.
