Extremely disappointed with ATI Physical Therapy and their billing practices. Before I even scheduled my first appointment, I specifically asked them to verify my insurance and tell me exactly what my cost would be per visit. I was told it would be approximately $60. I intentionally waited several days for them to verify my insurance information before moving forward because I wanted to know the cost upfront. At my first visit, I was charged $65. It was $5 more than quoted, but I didn't make an issue of it. Now, approximately 25 days later, ATI is trying to charge me an ADDITIONAL $95 for that same visit. That brings the total cost of ONE physical therapy visit to $160. When I called customer service, I was told the original $65 was supposedly only a "deposit." That was NEVER explained to me. Had I been told that $65 was simply a deposit and that I could later be billed another $95, I would have never agreed to the appointment. What makes this especially frustrating is that I specifically asked for the cost BEFORE scheduling and gave them time to verify everything with my insurance. Their customer service experience only made the situation worse. Patients deserve transparency about what they are agreeing to pay. Quoting someone around $60, collecting $65 at the appointment, and then nearly a month later billing another $95 is completely unacceptable to me. I would absolutely NOT recommend ATI Physical Therapy based on my experience. If you decide to use them, I strongly recommend getting your expected TOTAL cost in writing before receiving any services. read more

I have been brining my 83 year old mom here for the last couple of months for a severe case of Acute Sciatica, she was barely able to walk when I first brought her in. With the help and guidance from the therapists, she is now able to cruise around with her rolling walker, with a slight limp, soon to be graduating to be using a cane. The care and compassion that she has received has been top notch from all staff members. read more

I got into a car accident in December 2022 and decided to finally go to PT after the chiropractor was just not working. I started at the beginning of June 2023 and after 6 weeks 2 times a week, I am finally pain-free. Physical Therapist Ryan was my savior. Working with him we were able to pinpoint the pain and with a change in exercises and cupping, I can say that I can walk around for more than 3 hours with NO PAIN!!! It's been awhile and I kinda forgot about this place but thought I should share. I came here when I was unable to lift my arm and had spasms and pain ongoing. The program they prescribed was worthless, didn't make any difference at all and when I went back to my Dr he said the exercises they gave me were inappropriate and wouldn't fix any of the challenges. People working there need to work on people skills also, very indifferent and cold. I would definitely look somewhere else! read more

I wouldn't recommend this location, they seem overwhelmed and times when I was there it seemed like they didn't know I was coming or why I was there. The exercises on the app they recommended weren't the exercises I did in the office, and they wouldn't give me at home exercises. They also charged me 10 dollars every visit which I thought was good and was only reason I kept going, then I got a bill in the mail 3 months later and it was actually 71 each visit. There was never any mention of this at check in or any time I paid. I switched to a different PT office and they knew up front exactly how much each visit would cost with my insurance, and that place was cheaper and offered dry needling. I had met my deductible with ATI but since they didn't bill until 3 months later, I had overpaid and now I'm dealing with insurance and having to set up a payment plan with ATI because was not expecting that increase for each visit. read more

The therapists are nice and friendly. The front desk needs to work on their customer service skills. There is no "hello" or "bye" said whatsoever. When I asked the receptionist a question, she seemed annoyed. One of the staff members inside the exercise room looks and acts like she is completely bored with her job. She is constantly chewing gum even when talking to patients, which is very rude. It's not worth 20 bucks co pay to go every week and basically do the same exercise you do at home. The room is always overcrowded. Everything looks outdated. If you can choose any other place, I would recommend to do that. read more

Everyone is so caring and kind here. The therapy offered really helps you heal. Always look forward to my appointments. Coming in twice weekly is a pleasant experience because you know you will be treated with the upmost concern and respect for your injury. A few years back, came to this office for a shoulder issue and wasn't sure if therapy would help but it absolutely did. Currently, am being seen for a knee injury that happened hiking. Even though therapy can sometimes be challenging (it is intended to be), am hopeful for another positive outcome thanks to the staff and services offered at this location. Unbelievably rude - surprisingly difficult to schedule here, unhelpful, condescending and really a waste of time.

My first appt was scheduled for 4pm. I showed up at 340pm, as requested, to complete initial paperwork. I waited till 420, then was taken to an initial screening room. At 445, the PT therapist finally comes in. He is very apologetic about the delay, however, it was still a delay. We get as much PT accomplished as possible and I decide to make some future and give them a second try. I arrive on my second visit with no one at the front counter. When someone does walk up, they quickly asked me if I have a mask (recent change to NV mandate did not required masks). I advised her no, I actually don't have one and asked her for one. She hands me a mask. I asked if ATI is going to continue with mask requirements. Lady stated they follow CDC guidelines because they are in health care. I advised her that 4 days ago I saw my surgeon, at his office, who was not wearing a mask nor did he requiring I wear a mask. I proceed to sit in the socially distanced waiting room chairs spaced out 6 feet apart in the waiting room. Another lady finally comes back to the front desk. I go to let her know I have a digital/scanned copy of the doctors PT orders and asked for their email address to send them. She appeared confused, then told me to just ask my PT person for their email address to send it. She quickly walks away. Im called into the PT main room and directed by a friendly staff person to lay on the first table. At the end of the first table, literally touching the table, is a chair. There was a woman sitting in the chair doing some band work. I look back and tell the lady that the table is already occupied. She said no, it's ok. Go ahead and lay on the table. Now if I laid on this table, another person would of been sitting on a chair less than 1 inch from my feet. The chair was literally touching the same table I was directed to lay on. I had no problem complying with the mask request. I had no problem sitting in their socially distanced waiting room chairs. I had a HUGE issue with sharing the same table literally touching a chair another patient is in. The entire PT area had people stacked on top of each other. I told the assistance cancel my appt and all future appointments and left. I've been to other ATI locations and had no issues. This office had rude front counter staff, packed in their patients and ran extremely late my 1st appt. Don't go here. read more

Getting diagnosed with a herniated disc at my age in January after having an MRI done was a reaaaaaal shocker. I have been going on with this lower back pain for almost a year now and wouldn't think that was the cause at all because I have so many autoimmune/joint issues going on I would have never guessed. Anyways, this place is amazing. It's my first time ever needing to do PT and my experience so far after having 3 sessions has been nothing but amazing. I'm seeing Stephanie and her assistant Shirley and they're so helpful especially if I'm struggling to stretch in whatever position because I'm so uncoordinated. Stephanie is always smiling and is ALWAYS asking how I'm feeling. And they always start me off with a heating pad and let me tell you... it's the best thing ever!! Staff is young and inexperienced, rude and UNCARING. If you are older they will tell you "You're old, there is nothing we can do for you". That's what they told me and I still had many visits left from my insurance. Whose decision is that anyway? Shows you how much they care. A couple of the younger women were very nice, but I didn't get them. I got Patty, seems like she feels she owns the business. The actual licensed PTs don't do much here. All the "specialty" (non licensed, non certified, assistants) do. The actual PTs sit in a chair while the assistants do much of the work. By work I mean they hand you your device, tell you to do 2 sets and pretty much walk over to their huddle and leave you alone... Evaluations are done by the PTs. Other than that it doesn't appear they do much more. Another provider called "Select PT" only has you work with the PTs. I'll be sure to request them next time. read more

I recently had foot surgery and have been going to physical therapy at this location for a couple of weeks now. The staff is friendly and courteous. Parking is an issue - I mean, you are rehabbing some body part and shouldn't have to walk far to get inside. There is also a "no waiting policy," so they guarantee that you will be seen by your appointment time. I have found all of the assistants to be very helpful and nice, although they can be a little unprofessional at times. I don't need to hear your personal coversations, nor do the rest of the patients. They seem to be pretty busy and each assistant will have a few patients at a time, so you don't really get personalized care. read more

I was never able to get my physical therapy done there, other than my first appt..due to the unavalability they offer with their appts..I was planning on going before or after work but the hours they SAY they are open, is inncorrect! I do not recommend this place as they do not offer any flexability for appts for people who work as well.. read more

I love the people at this location. They are all so pleasant and helpful. They really care about how you feel. Even the therapy assistants that aren't assigned to you are always willing to give you a hand even if your therapist is busy for a moment. Crowded, run down and unfriendly staff. Parking sucks. Lack of privacy with people sitting near you almost touching you or your chair. Therapist discharged me due to having pain when stretching. Isn't that what they are there for? I think their staff need classes in people skills. A bit of sympathy goes along way with someone in pain and facing major surgery. read more

After a traumatic fall and breaking my left hip, and time spent in the hospital for surgery and recovery, I started therapy at this Green Valley location. I had experience before a couple of years ago when I pulled my arm out of the socket, and with their expert help I recovered almost 100% of the use of that arm. This time was no different. I worked with two therapists..Soci and Daniel along with the Clinic Director Dennis Allen. Dennis decided what therapy I needed and passed it along to these two men. Needless to say it was a painful, but a necessary start to recover the use of my left leg. I went 3 times a week and these two men were outstanding! They closely monitored my progress and added the new exercises as necessary over the coming weeks to advance my recovery. What can I say about these two men except they are professional, thoughtful, and most of all they are caring. They followed suggestions from Mr. Allen, and listened to my questions and answered them with solutions to make sure all bases were being covered. Today was my final day and after evaluation by Mr. Allen it was determined that there's as well as my goals were met, and I am on the road to full recovery. If it weren't for Desert Therapy and the great people who work there, it might have turned out different. I consider the three people I mentioned as not only the very best in therapy, but I also consider them friends and appreciate everything they did. If you ever have the misfortune of an accident that requires the need for therapy, this is the place you want to be and you too will discover these professionals will do their very best to restore you back to normal.
