However, if you can shift your perspective to the intended outcome - return to daily activities with minimal pain and limitations - you will benefit by showing up and being coachable by the team - a physical therapist, assistants, and / or technicians. And by all means, don't let the mode of transportation derail your progress, just give it your all. Ok, so ATI said they were going to retro submit a claim to my insurance so that I can get some help from my insurance company. Nope, I just received yet another bill from ATI. ATI did absolutely nothing since I last spoke to them about this issue. They said they were going to contact my insurance, and they also said that I don't owe them anything, yet received another bill. NOTE, My review is for the St. Rose Parkway location. While I think the quality of care was adequate at best, my complaint is that ATI charged me and my insurance company for using their app! Nearly $400 (total) of fraudulent charges that they billed after therapy was complete. These are billed as if they were physical therapy sessions, but they are not. No-one can clearly explain what the charges are for. I've filed complaints with the Attorney General and Consumer protection as ATI has sent me to collections for my portion of this charge ($60). Please look at your bills carefully to see if ATI is charging you for PT sessions that DID NOT TAKE PLACE! read more

I had to wait weeks for an appointment. Then I get a therapist for a consultation and after each exercise, a different therapist is attending to me. Very disconcerting and unprofessional. At the end, the original therapist comes back and tells me she's going to "send my exercises" to my phone. Never happened until I called a week later. I just returned from my first visit to ATI on Warm Springs. Tiny place, not a place for someone with claustrophobia. Also not friendly. No one introduced themselves, just handed me papers to complete and then after that exercises which were not that clear (to me) and yet didn't stay to see if I was doing them correctly or if I had a problem. I don't like ohysical therapy where the therapist is not hands on. These folks seemed hands off. And the encouraging words after the eval, "I don't know if these will work." I din't have a clear picture of what would be happening going forward. am disappointed and discouraged. I told them of my disatisfaction before I left but instead of trying to understand and do better, they argued with me about how I perceived the session. I don't look forward to going back. read more

This ATI location was very small and not as professional as I had anticipated. Staff were far too casual. The restrooms were out of order, a real problem for older clientele I would imagine. I had difficulty understanding Ryan. He seemed to be doing everything by rote and I didn't feel a connection or much personal interest in my circumstances. Front Staff insisted on scheduling me two times per week when I only wanted one time per week and stated so several times. I will look for someplace more professional. Great place to catch Covid. The waiting room is about the size of a postage stamp so several times I sat on the floor in the hallway, really great for my back. My last visit the guy called my name, asked me how I was and before I could even answer he said ''Great, go to the 3rd table.'' I saw techs only. In 3 visits I saw the actual physical therapy once, as I was leaving and she said about 7 words to me. After that, nothing. People wear their masks, some under the nose, some under the chin. Staff makes zero effort to have them comply. I left a stationary bike because the guy next to me had no mask on only to go on to my next exercise, the leg press, and see a guy wearing his mask under his chin and wiping sweat off his head and wiping it onto the machine. I left 20 minutes early that day. It's simply not safe and staff/management doesn't care. The guy at the front doesn't have the balls to ask anyone to comply. I give 3 stars because the techs or whatever they're called work very hard. Too hard in fact. They are running all over the place. If you sit back and watch things around here you can tell there is a fat cat owner just sitting back collecting money while they overly pack this place and make the techs run around all day trying to keep up. The only advantage is their Traction machine and the fact they aren't far from me. read more

Terrible wasteful experience. I'm actually worse off than when I went in. The methods used by the staff to grade where you started vs. the end of "therapy" are completely subjective. Your intake measurements vs. your last visit measurements are just whatever they decide. The staff are kids who spend more time joking and clowning around than paying attention to the injured people there for therapy. Oh, and if you ask for specifics on how you are supposed to perform exercises they'll often not know....so that is fun. I came out of the experience in more pain than when I went in and I paid a pretty penny for the privilege. read more

After hand surgery I chose ATI for my physical therapy. I picked the 1505 Wigwam Parkway location and was lucky enough to get Nic St. Claire as my physical therapist. Nic is not only extremely knowledgeable, but is gentle and very mindful of your comfort as he treats your condition. I've gone thru PT on more than several occasions and Nic is by far the best physical therapist I've ever had. Last week I ended my physical therapy after 3 weeks. I went there following home PT after surgery to have my full left hip replaced. after 10 sessions in that torture chamber, I had tremendous pain in my left knee. On my last day there I told the staff, including Mike, the Physical Therapist about my pain. Not only did they make NO adjustments to the strenuous workout that caused the pain, but Duke even increased the weight on one machine. I guess after talking to them about my pain NO ONE bothered to make any changes in my computer chart: if it's not in the computer patient complaints mean NOTHING. I told my orthopedic surgeon what happened at ATI and he said they probably triggered the arthritis in my knee. [I had no arthritic pain in that knee in the weeks after surgery and with the home PT BEFORE going to ATI.] Thanks to ATI I can't even walk for five minutes without excruciating pain. read more

This review is actually for ZERO stars. DO NOT GO HERE. This company manipulated my wife (who is healing from breast cancer) to attend appts with the guarantee she would be getting certain modalities within her treatment. She attended and paid a large copay for her eval (although she requested financial assistance, they still made her pay the full amount prior to appt) they guaranteed a bunch of services on her 2nd appt at the end of eval. Show up to her 2nd appt, ask about the services shes receving they guarantee again, but they arent actually delivering them, just killing time... keep saying it will be at the end of the appt... appt ends and services NEVER DELIVERED... 4 months later after multiple (like 10+) calls and complaints (and them not ever actually following through on ANYTHING) they are denying a refund of her copay. So basically their business model is to tell you they will do great things for you, take your money, and your insurance's money, and then not actually do anything they say they will. The PT's, accounting, supervisors, etc are all BS. If you are not a good fit for a client and cannot offer what they need - BE HONEST with them! Why waste someone's time and money if you dont plan on ever delivering on your word?? Why take atvantage of someone who has already been battling cancer? And for those who may think "oh well maybe she wasnt eligible for those services?", the Dr she went to for 2nd opinion confirmed the services were best for her and delivered them at every single appt. Save yourself the trouble and go to Optimal PT Courtney is amazing there and actually is an amazing human who cares about her clients and what is best for them :) read more

My 9yo son had an appointment for an evaluation today. It was at the Wigwam ATI office. We arrived at 3:30pm for our 4pm appointment. I spent 5 minutes filling out various paperworks and then we waited. At 3:55pm a guy comes out and tells us the therapist we need to see is in an administrative meeting and we should come back tomorrow (Friday) morning! What kind of a joke was that? How do you put an administrative meeting over patient care? And how arrogant to assume that we can just come back when it's convenient for them. Why didn't they call beforehand, before I wasted time driving there, filling out paperwork and sitting in the waiting room? At the very least why weren't we told immediately before wasting our time filling out paperwork and then waiting around? read more

I was sent for therapy for an ankle injury by my Othopedic surgeon. I attended before and now after surgery. Doug Is my therapist and he always provides excellent care and the staff is very good and always attentive. I would reccomend this facility to anyone who needs therapy of any kind. read more

This was the worse experience that I've ever had at a physical therapy clinic. The facility was a ZOO, everyone was running around & very disorganized. I had 4 sessions of physical therapy at this facility & was treated most of the time by the Technicians. The Technicians were nice, but when I go to physical therapy, I expect to be treated by physical therapist. I've had many sessions of physical therapy in the past due to various injuries throughout my life & would not recommend Matt Smith to anyone. The young lady Caitlynn that answered the phone was more than happy to assist me with my insurance, finding me a location and scheduling me for my first visit. She did a terrific job which starts my journey with the ATI Stephanie location . The staff here is amazing !! They are always friendly and quick to greet you with a smile and a big good morning, afternoon, or just a hi, even if they are busy . The therapists are excellent and know exactly what they are doing. Melanie is wonderful. The rest of the therapists are fantastic as well they are all ninjas when it comes to helping, understanding and getting you on the path to what ever you need to get you moving great.
