ATI St. Rose ultimately delivered an excellent hand therapy experience after carpal tunnel surgery, thanks entirely to occupational therapist Sarah and her colleagues Jonathan and Celine. The only reason this is a five-star review is because of their care, skill, and professionalism once in the clinic. The initial contact through the initial call service was disappointing: the interaction felt cold and short-tempered, and being told it would be about two months before an opening sent me searching elsewhere. However, because of the shortage of occupational therapists who specialize in adult hand therapy, my search ended unsuccessfully and I got a call from ATI St Rose about an opening Taking the ATI St Rose appointment turned out to be the best decision. Sarah is a very talented and passionate Doctor of Occupational Therapy who clearly cares about her patients and their outcomes. In each session, she and the team gave me focused time and attention, with in-clinic exercises that were thoughtfully different from the printed home exercise program so I always felt challenged but supported. Throughout my treatment, I felt genuinely cared for and consistently saw improvement in my hand function and comfort. I am extremely disappointed with ATI Physical Therapy. I went to two sessions for a left shoulder issue, and each session was less than 20 minutes. The therapists seemed preoccupied with talking to each other and a few of them appeared to be on their personal cell phone. In the two short visits, the therapists didn't use my name and didn't appear attentive to my exercise. In fact, on for occasions, I had to find a therapist to let them know I had completed an exercise. They charged me $50 per session for stretching exercises i could have found on YouTube. read more

While I think the quality of care was adequate at best (no one was particularly interested in my progress), my complaint is that ATI charged me and my insurance company for using their app! Nearly $400 (total) of fraudulent charges that they billed after therapy was complete. These are billed as if they were physical therapy sessions, but they are not. No-one can clearly explain what the charges are for. I've filed complaints with the Attorney General and Consumer protection as ATI has sent me to collections for my portion of this charge ($60). The service provided is good, however the billing dept. sucks, I was charged for a session even when I had a fever of 103 degrees and couldn't even move. I canceled all my future sessions but was still charged for the visit I WAS UNABLE TO MAKE AND EVEN CANCELED. At first, it was awesome start of the PT there but then had to do another new PT sessions with Raychelle and had Danny assist me with them and over did me on exercises thought I wasn't going to make it out the door but was given heat before I left. Then I called up to reschedule wasn't told by their Scheduler on the phone, as it is very MESSED up, via IT, when calling for a manager, all extensions go to Billing Dept and their foreign accent and can't get the manager, will find one online if have to file complaint. Their scheduling for appts does NOT correspond with their office very well will sometimes go to VM and sd to call back but half the time, it doesn't. It's very bizzare and strange set up there doesn't make any sense - no logic at all. read more

I've been a patient at this ATI for physical therapy on my right shoulder for over four months. The reason it was so long was not due to poor therapy, but due to nerve compression during surgery, which could not be helped by physical therapy. This was not their fault. I found them to be a superior, physical therapy group and very helpful with personalized care for me. My physical therapists were Ryan, who was fantastic and always tried to work hard with me and resolve my pain at the end, then there was Taylor, who also was wonderful. Very smart man. Also worked hard with me and tried to give me some advice. Then there was Jonathan of course, lol, a comedic PTA. He was so nice always correcting me with my exercises and pushing me to do a little more. I cannot forget, Bianca. She too was awesome and caring and I don't know what else to say except I'm so proud of her for passing her NCLEX. I became very close to everybody because I was there so long, and I truly will miss them. I highly recommend this physical therapy group. I don't think you will be disappointed. They stay with you until you know what you're doing properly, and even when you kind of go off on your own a little, they are still there correcting you. It's not that they're not watching. I can't speak highly enough. I've observed their other PTA's who are also excellent. Thank you everybody for all your time, effort, corrections and caring. It was a fantastic experience working with the ATI physical therapy team. Thanks to their creative therapy I have been able to regain the strength of my right arm /shoulder. My only recommendation to their patients would be to keep practicing the exercises at home/gym because if you just rely only on therapy day the chances of succeeding are very low. I cannot say enough good about this place. The PTs, Techs , and Staff are there to help and guide you for the best results, if you do your part. After going to the ER for herniated discs which were at level 10 + pain , the doctor on-call let me know that if I wanted to avoid surgery to do exactly what the Physical Therapist instructed. I was all in, and blown away with the attention to detail that PT Eric Akoopie demonstrated as he tweaked my therapy plan. The techs also followed through as diligently. This whole chain is horrendous to work with. I injured myself and they don't have any appointments that work with someone's work schedule for over a month. I gave them 8 different days that worked for us in the span of 2 weeks and they didn't have an evaluation for any of those days at any of the 3 different locations closest to us. The girl on the phone didn't act like she cared at all and just said, sorry we don't have anything at all those locations. So, you hurt yourself and you can't even get in for an evaluation. She said after the eval it's easier to get in and I highly doubt that. read more

I just finished PT for shoulder surgery. After 13 sessions I feel like I'm at 75%. With their guidance and suggestions (and exercising at home between visits) I fully expect to rebound to 100% within the next few months. I have an upcoming appointment and I was told that my doctor did not send the referral so after multiple frustrating weeks of babysitting my doctors office and then finally sending over the referral according to them. I'm unable to reach anybody at ATI to make sure that they received the referral. I also noticed there are multiple locations way closer to my house and I wanted to change my appointment to a closer location. Every single time I call ATI I get a recording and I am forced to leave my phone number for a "call back". The system says you can wait on hold or you can leave a phone number. I've called you so many times that I was willing to wait on hold for however, long was necessary. However, after a few minutes, the system forces you to leave your phone number for a call back and then they.NEVER CALL BACK. This is happened multiple times. There's nothing I hate more than having my time wasted. And I also did not realize that this is the same institution that I had a very bad experience with in the wigwam location. So I guess they'll figure out I'm not coming when I don't show up because I certainly cannot get a hold anybody to tell them I'm canceling my appointment. read more

Although I went to this place for 3 months, and the ladies are nice, I would not recommend coming here if you feel like seeing an OT for a total of 15 min personal dedicated time. ATI overbooks patient's, about 4-5 at a time, on a regular basis. I noticed they did less and less at each appt for my therapy. I would be there for over an hour for only 30 min of exercises. I feel like I spent more time waiting around than I did of actual therapy. I think it's unfair to the OT here to have so many patients at once. I finally went to another therapy office that Dr Grabow recommends, Select Therapy, and I finally have seen more progress with my finger in 5 sessions (2 1/2 weeks) than I did since October coming twice a week here. Why? Because they have an OT that dedicates the full hour between you and only one other patient max, never 4 and sometimes 5 if Dr Grabow sends over a walk-in from a post surgical procedure. If you want more dedicated time to healing your hand in less appointments, don't come here. read more

I love this office. This is my second experience with physical therapy and this ha been an entirely positive experience. My therapist, Bill (he is a PT), is incredibly knowledgable and kind while making sure he gets the most out of you while you're in the office. He also equips you with the knowledge to work on whatever your problem area is once your therapy has ended. read more

Excellent. Everyone in the office is very nice, helpful & friendly. My son had to go twice a week for 3 months. Not once did he wait long to get called in. I love the therapists and staff at the St Rose Facility. But I absolutely abhor the communication's set up. You cannot call the facility directly. You have to go through a central switchboard. It takes forever and one woman couldn't find the Henderson, NV facility! I just wanted to notify them that I was going to be late and ask if I should reschedule. Two other times I just wanted to reschedule and I was on hold for an extremely long time. It probably would have been faster to drive over there but not safer for my health! That service is inefficient and time consuming !!!!! read more

I injured my Achilles' tendon during a 5K and my GP recommended physical therapy to rehab it. This was the office he suggested and I'm so glad he did!! The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. Horrible place with such old equipment and careless rude people in it, better off finding a better place if you want to get better and keep your mind at peace... The oc department doesn't care about your well-being or progress...They do care about their 5 minutes massage times to not go over even by 3 seconds which was the only thing they were sticklers about. I love it here. The Seven Hills location is extremely convenient because it's less than 5 minutes from my house. Everybody in this office is friendly and helpful. I see Lauren and Bill and both of them are smart and great at what they do. PT has been helpful in reducing the amount of time I spend in pain. (Neck pain and low back pain) If you need PT, come to this location. The whole back office staff is wonderful. They make sure you're doing your exercises right as well as make sure that you're comfortable. So glad I chose to do PT here! read more

I went there for PT for a back injury.. For the most part the staff is pretty courteous except the AA woman receptionist in the waiting area, She can be pretty rude. The main problem I have with this location is it's just too small of a facility and that's corporate fault. It's so busy in there all the time and they only have one full time PT Kinda chaotic and confusing with all the rushing going on. I tried to make appointments for the following week and couldn't they were so booked up. read more

I chose this place to treat my back injury after meeting with several chiropractors that seemed dishonest and money hungry. I tried 4 physical therapists at this location. Angie is the best hands down. Melissa is good too. The staff is super nice and they get to know every patient really well. My only complaint is that I asked the front desk several times how much everything was going to cost and they wouldn't give me a straight answer. They just kept saying, "It depends," or "we don't know yet." Needless to say, I wasn't happy with the big bill I received later. However, I would definitely come back here to get treated by Angie again. read more

Quality of Care issue: My hand therapy by ATI was located on St. Rose Parkway in Henderson. First, the staff is wonderful! The customer service excellent! It's the certified hand therapist (CHT) per patient ratio that is my concern and a company issue, not therapist. When I went, there was only one CHT and one aide per up to 8 patients. The ratio should be 1:1 for each visit and for more than a hand massage. The hand therapy staff was so busy they were unable to closely monitor the modalities given to the patients to make sure the Patients were (1) doing the therapy and (2) doing the therapy properly. While my therapy was limited due to a pre-existing condition, I still observed the company' approach to hand therapy. Because it was so poor, I cancelled all my appointments. In Michigan:As a healthcare professional/RN who was part of a team that opened an orthopedic/hand surgery/acute rehab/skilled rehab hospital, I am aware of what quality hand therapy looks like. The physician group also owned a well renowned sports therapy rehabilitation center. I also spent years designing quality improvement programs for rehab therapy. Lastly, I received hand therapy for 9 months after a major wrist surgery and the Certified therapy aides spent time, 30 minutes, with each patient while doing modalities and then I spent 30 minutes, 1:1 with my CHT. This was how each patient received care and should receive care. read more

Had a broken finger and sent there for therapy. The tall older dark haired lady that seemed like the main person for hands was more interested in her phone, the other people attending there and her friends rather than the patients. She left me sitting there for 20 minutes one time to talk to her friends. The other girl asked where she was and then shook her head. The younger blonde haired woman did most of my therapy and she was very nice but didn't know anything about my issues or what to do next until that other lady said. I went for 2 sessions maybe 3 and she said you probably won't be back. No kidding. Sadly I'm confined to their therapy based on insurance plan. I still don't have regular movements and have a lot of inflammation in the knuckle and hand. On top of this they told me to walk right in after my first appointment, the next time I did I was tracked down and told with attitude that I needed to sign in on front of everyone.
