If you don't want to read all of this review (since it might end up a bit long), the TLDR version is that they did a fantastic job of fixing my issue and they did so with minimal info. All of the staff also were very nice throughout. When my doctor initially recommended physical therapy, I was a little pessimistic on its chances of fixing the issue. That was in large part because describing the issue wasn't the easiest thing in the world. My back felt fine 90% of the time, but stand up for longer than 10-20 minutes and all of a sudden I was hunched over in pain. There was no clear cause of it either. Basically, I knew I wasn't going to be able to give a therapist a lot of info to go off of and I knew that could mean they wouldn't be able to hone in on the issue. However, I'm happy to say that Brandon and Howard managed to take the gibberish description I gave them and devise a treatment plan that actually fixed the issue entirely. For reference, this was a back problem I had been experiencing since early March. (2-3 months.) No amount of muscle relaxers, anti inflammatory meds, heat pad sessions, or stretching seemed to do anything for it either. PT did the trick though. It is great to be past it finally, especially since surgery was in the conversation. For anyone trying to decide on a place to go, I definitely recommend this place. The staff are courteous, knowledgeable, and care about getting your issue fixed. I've been in places after surgery where you felt like the therapist was doing his/her best to get you out the door. GTC was essentially the opposite of that for me. Their focus was on getting me back to normal, not on who their next patient would be.

When I try to reply to email, it say auto email only unable to reply. 3 days later I finally get in touch with scheduler, tell her about how I could not reply to email or text, she tells me not her problem she did not design the process. Great attitude. After several days of no contact, I found another place. Don't waste your time, if they are this uncaring and unprofessional about just scheduling, their treatment is probably just as bad or worse. Good reddens, to bad I wasted all this time for nothing.

Joints in Motion is, far and away, the best physical therapy provider that I have ever used. I have been working with Eric at Joints in Motion for the last 3 months as I recover from rotator cuff surgery and cannot say enough positive about the experience. Rotator cuff surgery recovery is not fun, but Joints in Motion has made things immeasurably better. There are several things that set Joints in Motion apart from other therapy places where I have gone. First, it is clear during each of my sessions that there is a plan in place for my therapy. Unlike other places I have gone, I have never found myself standing around waiting for a therapist to figure out what I should be doing or waiting between exercises because a therapist is tending to another patient. It is clear that they respect my time and prioritize maximizing my progress without unnecessarily wasting my time. Second, Eric is great about explaining what I'm doing, how it helps, what my progress looks like, and giving advice on things that I can do at home. I have a bad tendency to be a control freak which invariably causes me to ask lots of questions. Eric has always patiently answered them fully in a way that is understandable to a layperson. Third, the facility itself is well-equipped and a really good size. I did not appreciate how important that space issue was until I went to Joints in Motion. At other therapy places where I have been, it was often hard to work around other patients who were operating close by. At Joints in Motion, there is plenty of space to spread out so that patients don't impede one another during a therapy session. I live less than 5 minutes from another physical therapy provider, but it is a no-brainer that, despite it being a 25-minute drive from my house to Joints in Motion, that the extra drive well be well-worth it the next time I manage to injure myself.

Somewhat new to Texas, I have struggled over the last year with finding someone I can put my absolute trust in. From the very first appointment, we had an immediate action plan. I have made more progress in the last 3 months than I've had in 6 years. Living in pain is scary, frustrating, and debilitating. I have seen exactly 4 pain management doctors here in Texas and Dr. B is the one I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone struggling with pain. He is one of the kindest and most intelligent doctors I have ever met. He is patient, understanding, and is a very attentive listener. Always smiling, never judging, I feel safe with Dr. B. I can't say I've ever felt as safe as I do or trusted a pain management doctor the way I do with Dr. B. He is open and honest and doesn't dance around anything. I called 4 different t times to get details and next steps so I can start my road to recovery. No call backs or a sense of urgency. I finally stopped calling and went elsewhere for care and so happy that I did. 3 months later I received a phone call to check on me and I told the lady on the phone my experience and why I am no longer a patient there. She just said okay and hung up. Two of the times I called, there were roosters and barking in the background so I know their scheduling is working remote. Not a good idea with the service and whoever is doing the follow ups. I want to reach out to the doctor so he knows about his staff but I can't get a hold of him without going through the front desk. Go elsewhere!! Healthcare shouldn't be like this. AWFUL!!
