While the quality of care at this location was great, the head therapist didn't tell me that they weren't in my network (so I had sticker shock when extra bills started rolling in) and I had nothing but issues with their billing dept. From never being able to see any documents or statements in their app or website, to duplicate payment plans being set up, to continued charges after the payment plan was already paid off. Several calls later and I'm still getting the runaround of "it will take 24-48 hrs for this to processes" only to call back and have to start from scratch because what I was promised would happen on the previous call did not. It's just not worth the time and hassle when there are other companies that do it right from start to finish. read more

ATI Physical Therapy in Carrollton on Fairway Ct is the BEST. I have had therapy at numerous places around the DFW area over the past 20+ years, but I can honestly say that I have felt more comfortable and cared about at ATI in Carrollton. They are all very knowledgeable. Tnoy my therapist explained to me that the exercises would be to strengthen my hips. He answered any questions I had. The others there were just as helpful. They put up a joke, and a riddle each week. I like that they do that. It makes me laugh, and it tells me they enjoy laughing too. Laughter is the best medicine. I'm heading back there later this week for another problem, and another 6-8 weeks. I wouldn't go back if I didn't like them. read more

Tom, Carolina, and, Sarah are the best. My son plays high school basketball and has had a chronic ham string strain. He was unable to play due to the pain. After only 2 weeks of therapy, my son was playing again with limited minutes and in another week he was playing to his full potential with no pain. I must admit I too was skeptical, but the proof is in the results. With Tom's background in Sports medicine, he and his team truly worked magic. Worst Theropy I have ever witness, first day got 40 min talk and 20 min exercise and charge insurance over 400.00, second time over 450.00 charge to insurance, was there 45 min, PT therapists had to ask someone hot to operate neck retractor machine, was on it for 15 min, had a headache when I left and took half the night to get ride of it. For the charges you think they would know what they are doing! I stopped going due to ripping off my insurance company!!! And quality of Theropy was very bad. read more

I am so grateful for the care I am receiving at Ideal Physical Therapy. Tom, Sarah, and Carolina are wonderful. After suffering a tibial plateau fracture and three months off my leg I started therapy with Tom while on crutches unable to put weight on my leg. Within six weeks I went from two crutches to one and then a cane. Now I am walking without assistance. Not only does Tom have excellent knowledge of anatomy and how things work, he is able to explain what is happening with my injury in a way that I can understand. He is always positive and encouraging. Sarah helps me with my exercises and is attentive and patient. I truly appreciate their care and concern for my progress. read more

THE GOOD: 1. They all seem like really nice people who were more interested in being my friend than my physical therapist. THE BAD: 1. ATI is very expensive. 2. It seems ATI hires their physical therapists right out of PT school with no practical experience. I DID NOT get what I paid for. 3. My injury was not treated based on the needs of my injury. My therapist was clearly a novice - my impression of all of them - they don't know what they don't know, meaning they only have 1 or 2 tools in their belt and whatever problem YOU have gets treated by their one tool. If you only have a hammer then every problem "requires" a hammer to fix it, even where a screwdriver or pair of pliers is needed. 4. ATI provided no real, actual, science-based "treatment". Is ATI a religion based faith-healer? Again, I DID NOT get what I paid for. 6. The therapists seem focused on getting to know me, being my buddy, and establishing a personal relationship. I'm guessing they didn't want me to notice the the treatment was all smoke and mirrors. The therapist regularly recapped our personal conversation to enter into their computer system. But, the therapist could never remember my treatment plan, exercises or anything else related to the professional services that my insurance company was paying for. From reading the reviews, I expect that a lot of people got scammed by this one. 7. They had me do exercises but I constantly had to chase them down to ask what they wanted me to do. It took forever for me to get through the exercises because I had to wait for a break in their perpetual personal conversation to ask about the next exercise. 8. Again, ATI is very expensive. all they really did is have me do exercises that I could do at home for free. BOTTOM LINE: ATI was a waste of time and (insurance company's) money. There is a basic lack of professionalism - the therapists were so self-involved they didn't really have time to provide any real treatment. The little treatment I did get relied on disproven junk science. The home-exercises that the doctor provided to me would have provided the same result as going to ATI - just faster. Great place, clean and neat. The PT team is very friendly and attentive. I recommend to see Elina, she is really good, will do whatever it takes to help with pain and find a way to reduce it or get rid of it. She wont stop, until she finds a way it works for you and I was not easy. I just had a baby and had very bad neck muscle spasm and back pain, barely could move my neck and had a hard time walking. Within 2 sessions, my neck improved like 90% and with few more sessions my back pain was pretty much gone. However you do need to do exercises that has been recommended to you to see faster recovery. read more
