We saw Dr. Rawson twice for a family member with back and leg pain (T.), before and after an MRI…read more He was very patient, explained the basis for his recommendations clearly (as well as what he thought would *not* help and why), and invited further questions. We now feel we have a better understanding of T's condition and best treatment options, unlike with most other doctors we consulted about the same condition. I've also never seen self-pay rates lower than CHARM's: $200 for an initial visit and $90 for followup.

I have been going here for quite a while now, weekly for physical therapy and have also had 2…read moretreatments done here for my shoulder. I have had a chronic pain condition for more than 5 years, and have finally been able to make a lot of progress on it through coming here. I am still working on it and will update my review, but it's very clear after a lot of work that I finally understand some or all of my immediate underlying issues. And importantly, I am actually getting better, after so many other things I tried were not working. I have been to roughly 15 other providers for my chronic pain, including other PT, and there are really just a lot of differences here that I think have made the difference, in finally figuring out what has been going on all this time. My experience in PT has been that I'm able to coordinate between a Dr and what we are doing in PT, which is useful for a lot of reasons, but in my case has really helped with finally narrowing down, what the problem has been, and why it was not fixed or at least improved in the past. I do think if you have chronic pain that is not getting worked out, you will need to be your own advocate as people say. In hindsight, years ago I kept accepting the idea that my pain was normal or not much to do about, and I realize now it's been the same issues the whole time, but somehow was never being identified or treated properly.

I have been seeing Dr. Shock for over 5 years on the recommendation of my neurologist. I had…read moresustained severe structural and neurological damage to both legs and feet over the course of a lengthy career in pre-hospital emergency medicine . So severe that it forced(along with a nasty cancer diagnosis) an early retirement and a future in a wheelchair. Not on his watch Flash forward 5 years, multiple surgeries, medical procedures and assertive use of pharmaceuticals...I WALKED out of his office today. He is an outstanding physician who advocates for his patients and isn't afraid to take on insurance companies to provide the best care possible.

I WAS an avid runner and was having a slight issue of a bone spur. After a couple of steroid shots, Dr Shock recommended I get a simple surgery since I met my deductible and could do this easy surgery and be on the mend quickly. WHAT A HORRIBLE MISTAKE IT WAS LISTENING TO HIM!!! He should be not be practing medicine and sued for malpractice for my surgery. I underwent the surgery on his advice and was healing fine, inside the foot, perfect healing, no swelling, no pain, and I went in for the follow up. I had a tiny red dot on the outside suture where the stitch was sticking out. Instead of snipping the stitch off, he said. Oh I'm going to open this up and clean it out. I thought it was strange to do this but he's the expert (so I thought) and went home. A few days later my foot began to swell, got extremely red, and started to form an infection with oozing and puss. I kept calling the office and sending in pictures and time passed. Finally he said come in after 2 weeks. My foot got an infection from him opening it up and "cleaning it out" from my own bacteria that lives on the outside of the skin. He then tells me i have to have surgery again to clean it up. I come out of the second surgery and due to his negligence and the delays on his part, my ligaments on the inside were eaten by the bacteria so my pinkie toe has no support. I now live with a pinky toe that is elevated and cannot fit into many does, I have no feeling in the outside of my foot and can't wear many shoes because my toe sticks up and is very painful and embarrassing. DONT TRUST HIM FOR SURGERY!! Go to an orthopedic surgeon, NOT A podiatrist !! I live with this everyday, It effects my everyday life, makes it hard to play pickleball, run, and even wear heals. I would steer away from this practice at all costs.

Dr. Elizondo listened to me as I explained a BIT about what happened. He smiled and said, "I'll be the tiebreaker!" He absolutely was! Everything was different about this appointment. The first thing was that he had the lights turned down. Next, he made sure I was WARM. Nerves respond better when you are warm. Finally, he has an easy way about him. I have Asperger's Syndrome. I have 5 Advanced Degrees yet, I have a difficult time talking with people. He was easy to talk with. Very easy. My background is in Biology and I was fascinated with the results. He was kind enough to share them and to explain them as we progressed. I have old nerve damage. It's permanent. No new, though. My husband wants me to share that they have the "best" candy there. :D This is important if you are a spouse waiting for your partner, I guess. I will say that if you must cancel, you must do so days in advance. We did not and I do not cancel any appointment unless I am very ill. They do have a sizable cancellation fee if your cancellation is not done within a certain number of days. That's fair considering that it takes time to get an appointment there. It's just something a new patient should be aware of. I have now recommended quite a few friends to this office and to this doctor. I was so touched by his kindness and his compassion. His staff was equally kind. If I ever need to be seen again, and though his office is quite far from my home, I will go to Dr. Elizondo. He restored my faith in neurologists. My thanks, Dr. Elizondo. I mean it. I wish you the very best.
