Don't know why I've not reviewed this place yet, you'd think that after 150 check-ins it would have…read moreoccurred to me. So let me fix that right now. I'm an early morning gym person. I mean early. My prior gym closed and after 10 years of going there at 4:30 AM every morning, I was desperate to find another place that could accommodate my peculiar taste in workout time. I needed it to be close to home and was lucky that the Training Centre had opened less than a year prior. The owners here, Sharon and Michael, are the greatest people ever. Sharon was formerly the co-owner of my previous gym and is absolutely fantastic. She is super knowledgable and very committed to making sure everyone has a good experience. She recognized the need for us early morning people and opens at 5:00AM which still works for me. The place is spotless! So clean!!! The machines are all new, they're modern and well kept, and while the space is more limited than what I'm used to and the congestion is more a function of the equipment being close together rather than by tons of people, it works! There's pretty much a full complement of Matrix equipment and free weights as well as treadmills and elliipticals. Sure, there are some pieces of equipment I wish we're there but I understand and have adjusted. I don't avail myself of the TRX classes or any of the yoga, Pilates, or aerobics but note that the room in which there held is incredibly small and limiting making registering for any of the classes an absolute necessity. It's a great gym and it works for me! Stop by and see the crew tomorrow at 5:00AM! We'll be looking for you!!

I started going in January, and every person that works there is really nice and supportive. It's really nice to have them help with workouts, especially when you might not be sure where to start. Molly is the best! She is always very friendly, asks how you are, and makes sure that you are doing okay, even if she is busy with someone else! I like the option of having someone help me, but at the same time I can do my own thing once I get in the swing of things. I've only met the owner once, but when he was there when I was working out he introduced himself and was very friendly. It's a a great place, and as long as I am in the area, I am planning on getting my workouts done there! To add to this as well, it's also very affordable for what they offer.

It's an easy place to find that offers more than enough parking. There's a plentiful variety of equipment to fit your fitness needs and Michelle is constantly bringing in new things. The upstairs is where you'll find the cardio equipment and most of the machines, while the downstairs offers a plethora of free weights. The bathrooms are always clean, as is the rest of the facility. There's vending machines that offer recovery drinks, proteins and a wide ranging variety of other things. Most of the members are friendly and have good gym etiquette ie; they rack the weights when they're done and wipe down the equipment when they're done, mostly because if they don't, Michelle reminds them! Lol. Again, she's really done well with changing this gym around. Would be an easy 5 Star review, but they do not have a water fountain which is a bit of a let down, so remember to always bring yourself water!
