ATA Plumbing did the plumbing work on our shower. He came by with a helper that hadn't had a bath…read morein weeks and stank up my house for hours after they left. Thomas has a condescending attitude and his price was higher than quoted. I had to call him back as the shower controls were installed crooked and too far back in the wall. He was agitated that I dare make him fix it but he complied albeit grudgingly. After calling him a third time to drop off the drain screen he promised the first visit and to look at why the shower was leaking (he left the valve open but I fixed it myself), he was extremely rude that I didn't call to let him know I had fixed it myself. He still didn't have the drain screen and said he'd drop it off one day at my doorstep. I doubt he'll even do that. This is the worst plumber I've ever used and certainly the rudest customer service I've ever experienced. Don't bother calling this company, you'll be extremely disappointed.

We purchased our house a year ago and have been enjoying our radiant floors. One day during the…read morecold snap, we noticed that the floors weren't emitting any heat. AB Tech was recommended by a friend of ours so I called Bruce and explained the situation. Good news/bad news: it was a Friday and he was in the middle of a big job and couldn't come until Monday. Then an hour later, he called to say he was breaking away from the big job to come look. He noted that the boiler wasn't serviced in a while and the pilot needed replacing. He spent a couple hours on this when I know he had to get back to the big job, but he was committed. He just came back today to finish the service. I'm grateful to Bruce and his crew for taking the time to help us. It would have been a cold weekend.

The second time I used Ab-Tech the guy charged me $168 for a zone valve and $15 for miscellaneous. $157 for 15 minutes of labour. Total cost $370 (taxes included). Seems kind of expensive. Overall, the workers were prompt and professional and solved the problems quickly. I just don't understand their fee structure.

Phablo was professional, courteous, and wonderful to deal with. He estimated the work before beginning, explained the process to us, and completed the work on schedule. I have only two other comments: this service was very good, but commensurately expansive; the schedule called for a technician to arrive in a 2 hour window, and the in this case he arrived after that window - perhaps regular text updates would beat sitting at home for this duration of time? Thank you Phablo! My wife and I really appreciated your pleasant demeanor and professionalism.

It started with a pin hole leak last year which they came the next day and replaced the pipe. They also found another pin hole drip and other areas that were corroding through and recommended I consider replacing all the lines within the next year. I was suspect of the pipes, with the house being 30+ years old but had been putting it off, so it wasn't a surprise. I have just now had them come back and replace almost all copper except a few ends where bathroom tile would need to be broken. They mentioned that the main lines, especially hot water were the worst and that the end of the lines would last longer. Their recommendation was to replace the ends whenever the bathroom is reno'd. I appreciate this trade-off as it saves me a lot of $$$, time and mess to not have to fix the bathrooms right now. I was very happy with the price. As well, I'd like to add that they were here at 8:00 every day and stayed till at least 4pm. And last but not least, they recommended a dry waller who is taking care of the patching. Nice to have my house back together so quickly.
