It never feels like you're just placed wherever there's availability. Instead, they recommend what actually fits you best -- so you feel comfortable, safe, and supported. The sessions themselves are both professional and gentle. The instructors are always attentive -- they carefully watch your form, make small adjustments, guide you, and support you throughout. And they do it in such a kind, respectful way that you feel encouraged, not pressured. One of my favorite things is the small group size. It creates this almost private-session feeling. You're seen, you're heard, and you get real attention -- which is so rare and so valuable. The atmosphere in the studio is incredibly warm and calming. I work full-time in the tech industry, but Pilates Forever Studio has become my 2nd home. Being a part of this studio for almost 2 yrs now has benefited me both physically and mentally, and I have gained long-lasting friendships with a lot of the people here. I've done the rotating gym memberships at 24-Hr Fitness, Bay Club, Orange Theory, etc throughout my whole life, but this is the first time I've stayed committed continuously to one place. I have all my medical records to substantiate my injuries, but I have yet to receive a courtesy call back from this location. My account was charged four months without my knowledge, and I have sent numerous emails attempting to resolve the issue and collect a refund for services I did not receive. Instead, I have been met with blatant disregard, which is deeply concerning. Out of the 80 classes I was unaware of, I attended three and did not receive any service for the rest of the charges. This situation is a significant loss for me, and the fact that I am being ignored is particularly disappointing. It is evident that this company prioritizes profit over customer satisfaction. I strongly advise against choosing the Pleasanton location for club Pilates. I have friends and family who use other locations and have had no issues obtaining same day responses and refunds, even though their situations were not medically related. I have concrete proof of my inability to attend classes and have yet to receive any response.

Overall, I'm disappointed with how inconsistent the studio has become and would hesitate to recommend this location.

Over three years coming here but I wanted to share a health benefit I've never experienced before …read more All my life I've been lifting heavy weights and I've been fairly muscular for the last thirty years or so. My HDL cholesterol number have always been lower. It has jumped up from the thirties to 62 in the last year after I started more vigorous yoga like sculpt from Moji and Bikram from Jamie.. I'm still able to bench 315 pounds once a week because yoga works on my small muscles . All heavy weight lifters have sore shoulder joints which yoga has helped me overcome greatly . But sculpt and Bikram is not easy especially at 72 but I try my best to get through the class.

Joya Pleasanton offers a variety of modalities - vinyasa, bikram, Pilates, barre, and HIIT type classes. I take vinyasa and wish there were more j flow vinyasa classes on weekday mornings but I get it, I'm in the minority! The vinyasa instructors have all been excellent - positive, encouraging, and always thoughtful and creative in sequences. The care team is always friendly and they do a great job keeping the yoga rooms tidy and fresh. Parking at Joya Pleasanton can be tricky. It's best to check the schedule and see when classes get out before your chosen class begins. Try to arrive a couple mins after patrons leave. (Here I am, given away my parking secrets!) If that seems too complicated, get to class at least 15 mins early in case you need to circle the lot or find street parking around the block.

They use an Xformer, which is a bit different from traditional reformers. It's like a blend between classic Pilates and Lagree-style training, and it delivers serious results. Since starting a little over a year ago, my body has completely transformed. Eventually, I convinced a few friends to come with me; though they were definitely intimidated at first. But after just one class, they were hooked too! It was intense on the first try with pilates experience. This was more like a level 3 reformer. I would go back if I became stronger and leaner after six months of doing pilates consistently. The studio was nice and clean with a spacious cubby and a single-use restroom. Highly recommend wearing grip socks before you come to class.
