I recently stopped by this athletic clothing store that had the cutest new spring arrivals. The array of spring colors felt fresh and on-trend, with lots of light layers and pastel colors. The fabric and material were made nicely and definitely long lasting and worth the prices. The store itself was spotless and very well organized, which made browsing so enjoyable. Everything was neatly displayed and easy to find--no digging through multiple racks. I was also greeted upon entry to the store and asked if I needed help. Great customer service and friendly staff. I didn't buy anything this time but I've got my eye on a few clothing items for next time. read more

The service is like none other. The staff are so helpful and honest. Will not let you go with anything that doesn't fit or look good. If you need a good bra, ask for Patty and need a great stylist ask for Martha. read more

UPDATE 10/16: The general store manager, Valerie wrote my mom an email maybe 2 days (at the most) after our visit. She expressed her apologies and was gracious enough to follow up and show what true customer service is like. Thank you, Valerie. So much. I visited the store with my mom this afternoon as I am a micro influencer on social media and was in search of new attire for my videos. Although I was apprehensive because of a past experience, my mom insisted I check out this location. We spent a total of 30 minutes in the store looking at the merchandise- putting outfits together amongst one another (my mom and I) and not one employee greeted us, asked us if we needed assistance or even cracked a smile. Instead- they insisted on playing eye tag with me a couple of times. The closest "customer service" experience I received was from a gentlemen which I assume to be Lost Prevention; because as I was bent down looking for my size in a sports bra- we made eye contact instantly he looked away and made a slow stroll to another area of the store- weird. We spent a total of $327- which is easily doable in Athleta- but once we were checking out, we made this experience known to the cashier, and all she said was "Oh okay.." Now I know we (as human beings) should be sensitive and patient with stores and employees whilst still in a pandemic. But in my opinion, the lack of customer service and positive customer experience was a CHOICE made by the employees-- not a mere occurrence due to high volume/guidelines. I only hope this isn't the culture of the brand but this has definitely made it clear to me that it will be a very rare occurrence to shop here again. I walked into the store and was not greeted by any of the staff. Okay... that's fine. I spend about 10 minutes in the store browsing and no one asked if I needed help. I was about to walk out the store... then a white women walked in and was immediately greeted by the staff. I'm of Indian decent btw. I just didn't get a good vibe here. So I don't know why the reviews here are so bad. I've been to the store a couple of times and it was like literally any other store like ever. The staff did not greet me when I came in but that's because there were only like three girls there. They were busy doing their jobs and I appreciate that. Once I found something to try on I approached one of the girls and immediately got a fitting room. The staff was actually really nice. I give it four stars because it is kind of pricey. But please chill... your expectations are way to high... read more

So disappointed. I spent all day running around looking for some workout clothes. I ended up at Athleta since I was in the area. Oh boy. The people here were so rude and not helpful whatsoever. Nobody came over to ask me for help until about 15 minutes in as I was walking out this short woman with blonde hair literally came up to me to see what I "needed" and when I told her I wasn't sure she told me ok well we are closing so we can't help you and literally pointed at the door. I was so furious. I work in the hospitality business and have a long background in retail and always had to wait until the last client was done shopping and never telling a client to go. This lady has no business working with people. Obviously. Absolutely will NEVER be returning. Wish there was a way to give this 0 stars. Hope this woman gets fired. read more

I don't expect my review to deter anyone from going to this Athleta store but I do hope to make them aware that their shopping experience can go either way. Firstly, the space is lovely: it's very open, clean, inviting with the merchandise nicely displayed. The clothing fits my body perfectly and it is of terrific quality. Note being greeted upon entering is not essential to my shopping experience. However, when I am checking out I don['t want to be treated with any attitude or annoyance because I am redeeming earned rewards which have to be scanned into the register which is what happened today. There are some employees at this store who are really lovely and yet it seems I always encounter just the opposite type of staff when I am paying for my purchase. When the employee handed me my bag she said, and not pleasantly 'here you go', I thought why not add 'and thank you' or 'have a nice day' which actually I heard another employee say to a shopper who had just completed her purchase. ALL staff at this store work on showing genuine appreciation to your customers, every single one. Oh by the way, today I was wearing an Athleta coat and pants, and paid with an Athleta credit card so obviously I am a fan of the brand. When the employee said to me, 'here you go' I should have replied, 'oh yes here I go ... to drive home and write a not so pleasant Yelp review'. read more

Not good. The few times I've come here to browse, I've been thoroughly ignored by every single person that works here. Even when I attempted to make eye contact, they breezed right by me. Seems like they prefer chatting with each other in the front to actually helping sell the overpriced and poorly made clothing that pays their salaries. Lululemon this is not. Oh, and they might want to read their own return policy. If you return something WITH THE RECEIPT, you are supposed to get money back on the form of payment you originally used, not a certificate that comes in the mail 6 weeks later and can only be used in-store? Super confusing and NOT customer friendly. read more

This store was always a go-to for great energy, helpful sales people and a good product. My sense is that the management has changed (Is Jill still there??) and the store has gone down hill. My past two experiences there have been met with rude sales people who hold up a finger at you to tell you to wait while they talk on the phone, and some type of anger about the credit card promotions being used at their store. Won't go back until they step it up on the floor. read more
