I would walk by them multiple times and no one would offer to help. Even standing right next to them. The Lululemon stores in big cities seem to understand customer service, and always are so friendly and helpful. I'm not sure what it is about the air in the San Antonio store, or if there is major lack in training, but the selection at this location isn't even worth shopping at. I'll do my shopping online or while I'm traveling instead. :)

As soon as I walked in, I was honestly overwhelmed by how many suits they had. I walked around for a bit trying to find someone to help me, but either the associates were busy with other customers or didn't acknowledge me. Eventually, I approached one associate, and after explaining what I was looking for, he was very helpful. He found my size, the color I wanted, and was informative throughout the process. I was also happy to find out they had a special. It was actually cheaper to buy the full suit than just the jacket alone. So I ended up getting a full suit for the price I originally planned to spend on just a jacket. The issue came with alterations. Since they offer tailoring services, I asked the associate to have the suit tailored to a slim fit. He told me the jacket was fine as is, and that only the pants needed hemming. I trusted his judgment since I'm not too familiar with how suits are supposed to fit. A week later, I picked up the suit, and I wasn't thrilled with how it looked. After trying it on again, I noticed the jacket felt too big. A different associate helped me this time and agreed it needed further tailoring. I had to pay an additional $56 to get it adjusted properly. Overall, K&G is a great place to find a suit at an affordable price, but be cautious with tailoring. Don't be afraid to speak up or ask for a second opinion to make sure you're getting the fit you really want.

The new staff didn't greet us when we walked in, ignored us for over 10 minutes when all we needed was to pick up an online order that was ready. They were rude to my partner who was also shopping and told her to move multiple times so they could get by. They even kept insisting that we had to have ID on us to pickup our order when I was able to confirm the email, and showed them the order is ready receipt on my email with the order #. Overall the new staff is AWFUL and we will no longer be going back. Only going to go to the new store off huebner oaks.

I RSVP'd and attended the festive event. I checked in and received a raffle ticket. You could see how they cordoned off the Beauty section as only guests w/RSVPs were allowed in the event. I could see different sections where they had demos for makeup, hair, skin, eyebrows, skincare and perfume. Angel saw me looking towards the first stop which featured Concealers and Setting Sprays by MAC & Charlotte Tillbury. She assisted me then passed me off to Lauren who helped apply some products and give tips. I showed her a list of my makeup which she had some in stock but had to ship others. When Lauren was applying my makeup, Angel was so sweet and brought me a Margie when I said "I should have a drink!" Lauren did great as she had to color-match me from several lines. She helped me find some products. Jordan from MAC came by and suggested a hydrating spray and the order of applying skincare since she said she was an Esthetician. She was bubbly, friendly, helpful and very positive! She was even giving me hugs & high fives! Now that's the Nordstrom service I'm used to! They had a DJ, Cotton Candy Margaritas, Bottled Water, Coca Cola, Charcuterie Bites, a cheesy Mac n Cheese type of dish and festive cake bites. I went to the Jo Malone section and a rep showed some fragrances. The DJ music was so loud so I walked out to get another drink and bites and came back to the Lancome station looking for a product and was helped by a woman holding raffle tickets. The main rep was busy so she helped shade-match me. I had to order online since that product was out of stock. Then she walked me towards the fragrance section. Another rep helped me as I was looking for Jasmine scents. She offered Diptyquem, Gucci, Good Girl Jasmine & Tom Ford's Jasmine. They didn't have samples for Good Girl & Tom Ford so she said to check Sephora. While checking out the scents, I heard my name being called for the raffle so I excitedly showed up to get my prize! Yay!! I went back to the fragrance rep and asked her about the Estee Lauder perfumes so she walked with me there. I was interested in a Gardenia scent so I asked if I could have a sample? She said sure and walked away. I sat for awhile waiting for her until the Estee Lauder rep told me she thinks she ended her shift?? The rep made me a sample. I thought that was inconsiderate and just a "Someone will help you momentarily..." or something to that effect would've been nice. Usually Nordstrom reps are mindful and respectful of my time. At least the Estee Lauder rep followed thru. The Beauty Trend Event was nice on a Friday evening as they're usually on a Saturday when everyone's shopping and it can get quite hectic. It was a pretty fun event and the theme of raffle stations where you can try different products was a great idea. I hope someone sends me a list of demos next time so I can prepare and check out products and reviews ahead of time. I like the convenience of being able to pick up items at Nordstrom Rack since there's one near me vs. driving all the way to Nordstrom La Cantera.

I had been searching for weeks all over San Antonio and was desperate to find something special! When I walked in, I was greeted by a kind employee and I explained to her my situation. She pulled 5 dresses in my size and immediately got me in a dressing room. The whole experience was quick and easy and I was extremely relieved (considering the party was in less than 24 hours). The quality of the dress (second from right in the photo) is amazing and I will wear it for several occasions in the future!

However, one trip on the weekend will remove that disillusion. The place becomes overwhelmed. There will be shoes everywhere, a long wait for help (even with their sign-up sheet) and trying to get a look at the merchandise is impossible...and don't even think about trying to take a stroller in there. During my last weekend visit - the cashier that checked me out (not the girl that helped me) didn't even greet me with a 'hello!' She asked if the shoes were mine - checked me out by giving me a total - and sent me on my way. I would also add that their ability to give you a good fit for your child's feet is a 50-50 shot based on the employee that you get to help you.
