We did not partake in food so I cannot comment on that. The glassware is gorgeous. We will have to make another visit. The only drawback was the price of the beer. It was a little pricey. The taproom is large with an even bigger outdoor area. Audrey was my bartender and she was fabulous. Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I started with a Maple Pecan Praline. It was dangerously delicious. I still had a while to wait so I go a Claw Shank Redemption (not as high octane...but also very tasty.) Audrey found me the glass I wanted and a 4 pack of the Maple Pecan to go. Right as I was getting ready to go, they were setting up for trivia. I was a little bummed that I had to leave but we had already made other plans. If I'm ever back in Athens, I will definitely come back here.

Brewery #460…read more Terrapin is a large craft brewer that I can get at home in New Orleans since they seem to have nationwide distribution. We pulled into the large building and went into the taproom. The taproom too is large, with many beers on tap. I asked for a flight, but they don't do them in the traditional way. You have to buy tokens, 12 bucks for 6 tokens and each token gets you a half pour unless you get a premium stout in a can then it's 2 tokens. It gets a little confusing. Anyway, I ended up with a few IPAs that were decent and a can of Chocolate Peanut Butter Pretzel Stout that was really good. There was no food onsite, but they may have food trucks. They just didn't that day. Seems like a waste not to have a kitchen with such a nice tap room. The gift shop is large and the prices were reasonable.

It was excellent as was the side salad I ordered to go with it. Service wise, you order at the counter, and they bring your food to your table when it's ready. It works. I washed mine down with iced tea as one does. It's a nice space. Cheers!

It was so cozy and they had a huge wall of game boards, it was fun to look at and choose games from. I definitely felt like a kid again here. We came here on a football game day, and it was empty as everybody was out watching the game. Which was fine because more game options for us! I'm not sure how busy it gets, but there are lots of tables for seating. There is a $7 charge for each person playing. We spent about 2 hours here and played 3 different games. It is so easy to lose track of time here. I definitely could have stayed longer and tried out more games, but we had to leave as it was getting late. The workers here are very friendly and welcoming. They give great game recommendations! You'll need to ask them to grab the games for you, as the board games can be difficult to get to and they are set a certain way.

Hendershot's Coffee is a unique place. What makes it unique?…read more * In addition to serving coffee along with some food items, it's full bar and has all of your booze groups covered. * It hosts live music, and not just a guy or gal playing an acoustic guitar. We want for a comedy show that was great. One of the nice things about Hendershot's is in my limited experience the shows start at 7:00 p.m., which means it's totally doable on a "school night." My suspicion is it is townie's place. When we went, I did not see any UGA kids. In other words, it's a place for grown ups for the most part. Pro-tip: Get there early for an evening show. Parking can be a challenge with three great restaurants more or less adjacent, and the best seats for shows fill up fast. Cheers!

We were seated immediately at a bar next to the front porch with a view of milledge. We both ordered mocktails, a fresh lemonade and cherry lime spritz, both were delicious and although we don't drink I can bet my bottom dollar their cocktails are crafted and amazing. We started with corn fritters, raw oysters and seasonal peach salad. The only thing I didn't like was the chili in the peach salad, I heard another table request it without so I guess that's an option but I believe in tasting it how it's served. For entrees we did the fresh pasta dish and the fish. Both were creative and divine. The filling for the pasta was silky and the touch of nutmeg or cinnamon in the sauce made it next level. The fish was perfectly cooked and paired nicely with the coconut sauce. For dessert we chose a cherry cheesecake and peanut butter chocolate cake with grape jelly ice cream. I'm not sure if they have a pastry chef but it's been some time since I've had a dessert crafted with so much love. The quality latte we drank with them was the cherry on top. We've already invited our friends for dinner next month. 10/10 reccomend

Nestled in a gorgeous building that was once a residential house, the restaurant has a gorgeous and cozy ambience that makes you feel like you're visiting with friends from the moment you enter. The menu changes with the seasons, and I've never been less than impressed with the often-inventive dishes. I highly recommend starting with their cast iron cornbread. It sounds simple, but it's truly elevated. Right now, the sweet potato brown butter pierogies are absolutely mouth-watering, and the hazelnut bread pudding is rich and a perfect blend of sweetness and cream. The waitstaff is top notch and you'll receive better, more attentive service here than at restaurants with much larger price tags in Atlanta. They also have an impressive cocktail program and wine list. On the "it's the little things" list, the candles 5 & 10 uses in the restroom are outstanding!
