The nail techs are skilled and the staff goes the extra mile with hospitality, having waters and sodas available for customers and doing small fill-ins free of charge. Sometimes the place is very busy and it's becoming more advantageous to make an appointment if you don't want to wait. They will do you right with your nails and make you feel welcome. There is a student discount available if you ask. read more

I loved this salon!! The staff is so amazing and I love their dog Winnie. The puppy comes on Thursdays and Fridays. This was my first time coming to the salon and I loved it. My tech did exactly what I wanted and she was so sweet. Amazing salon!!! read more

I'm new to Athens and have been looking for my "go to" nail salon. I believe I found it today !! Kate and Rita did my hands and feet simultaneously. It was a wonderful experience! The salon opened for the first time in January and then covid hit the world and they were closed for a few months they are fully reopened and being very responsible with mask wearing and social distancing etc. I will definitely be back. I had a truly lovely and relaxing hour and am very pleased!! CB read more

I do not recommend this place...I went and got my nails done for 60$ and two fell off the next week.My nails were also bumpy and just not what I asked for shape wise I was gonna get it fixed til the third one fell off then I decided to just not worry about it because there's is no point when three are already gone.so basically I'm not happy at all. read more

The girl doing my nails (name started with a V) was SO rude to me. I will not be returning here I had such a terrible experience. She would not listen and when I told her what she was doing was hurting my nails she did not do anything about it. Very sad because this is where I usually go to get my nails done but I won't be anymore read more

They cut my cuticles so short to the point they were bleeding. Then the technician had to redo my gel 4 times because the design was not looking good. I eventually had to get just a solid color. The quality is no where near the photos they show online. You can see the streaks of the gel brush and the gel dried with bubbles in it. I am not happy at all. read more

I made my most recent appt on June 5 for June 18th @ noon. No one showed up. I guess they were closed for Father's Day, hell, maybe even Juneteenth , but don't accept my appt if you had no intentions of opening. I never received a call or anything stating they were going to be closed or anything. Unacceptable. But, they don't care.....

GUILTY! I cheated on my regular nail salon and found myself at Nails So Dep. I'm such a homewrecker lol!! And OMG it was worth it!!!! Everything was so neat and welcoming, made me feel fancy. I felt like Michelle Obama could've been beside me getting her manicure...lol well maybe I'm exaggerating a bit. But only to stress how great this place is! I can tell when someone fakes their customer service. I never got that vibe from anyone there. The staff is super friendly and truly talented. I can be a bit particular about my nails, and I was not disappointed. Their work is absolutely amazing! The name Nails So Dep (nails so beautiful) suits them well. read more

I have been looking for a nail salon in Athens for two years. I have found it. They were very welcoming, and offered us beverages as soon as we walked in the door. We did not have to wait at all, And we're immediately seated and picking out nail colors. My nail specialist Jenny was extremely nice, and clearly well trained in her job. She made my nails look fresh off the runway. Additionally, the price I paid was ridiculously low compared to the quality. 10/10 will be coming back!!! I love this place. read more

Went to Nails So Dep for their grand opening, awesome experience! Found my ladies Mandy and Kathy, and as always they did an amazing job. Everything was so clean and new, the owners came over to say hello, and the place is HUGE! I'm sure there will never be a wait like some other salons I have been to. Never felt rushed, stayed to let my pedi dry and had a nice massage while i waited. Spacious, new everything, everyone working there had smiles on their faces. I had an hour to kill on this side of town and desperately needed a mani/pedi. I went on a weekday at 4:00 and I was the only customer. (It definitely was filling up by the time I left.) The place is huge and clean. I was really impressed. I got SNS for my nails and gel polish for my toes. The staff was very friendly. Honestly one of my favorite manicures ever. I have searched high and low in Athens for a salon that checks all my boxes! Clean, relaxing, nice equipment, nice staff, big space and a great variety of colors. The nail techs here are professional. I looked up and saw Mandy, who used to work at another salon here in town and did my nails in college. This is by far the best nail salon I have been to in Athens! They are very polite individuals. I really loved the decor and the overall setup. They provided me so many different options in reference to polish colors and services. One thing that I also loved was how knowledgeable my nail tech was in reference to my services I received. I was serviced by Mandy and she talked to me about the lifting issues I was having- we went with my natural nail instead of more tips and an hombre style SNS with pink, white and sparkle.
