Now, I'll be honest and say that I've never really been excited about trips to the dentist, just because there's usually pain and a high price involved. I've spent some serious cash in the past on minor procedures and going to the dentist has always felt like more of a chore than a positive experience. I made the 2-hour drive because he was recommended to me by several close friends that raved about how amazing he is, they were right. His front desk staff is very kind and offers excellent customer service! Dr. Moore immediately put me at ease upon my arrival and welcomed me to the town of Fairfield. He actually took the time to explain all those big dental terms (that I usually just pretend to understand) and that was very appreciated. I felt extremely comfortable and to be honest it didn't feel like your typical commercial dental office, it felt like home. This office is family structured and they treat their patients like family, instead of chart numbers. The front staff and assistants were friendly and welcoming, but unfortunately, our experience with the dentist was the opposite. She walked in and immediately told my sister, "You're gonna lose a lot of teeth today." Then, as she pointed at each tooth, she repeated "rotten, rotten, rotten, rotten." That is absolutely not something you say to a young girl in pain. It was unprofessional and alarming. To make matters worse, the office setup is fairly open, and my sister was embarrassed that other people could hear these comments. She then stated she would need to pull four teeth because they "couldn't be saved." When I asked if she could at least address the one causing the pain, she laughed and said, "Today? Oh, no. I have appointments after yours." She gave my sister pain medication and sent us on our way, leaving her in tears. The next week, we went to another dentist and they found she only needed fillings...not extractions, not even a root canal. I am so thankful we didn't go through with her treatment plan... my sister would have lost four healthy teeth for no reason. I left very disappointed with both her "bedside manner" and her professional judgement. Our experience did not reflect the glowing reviews we had read.

From the dentists to the staff, everyone is incredibly warm, personable, and genuinely kind. Their technology feels state of the art + more advanced. I had initially called in for an emergency dental appointment (I broke my tooth!) and they were able to get me in that same week. Dr Vetter did an amazing job restoring my smile to what it was. The procedure felt quick and painless. (My husband had gone in to another dentistry in Tyler for a crown, and his had taken over a month, whereas my crown was made same day and only took 30 minutes to be created by a specialized machine)! I did not expect my issue to be resolved that day of my very first appointment so I was blown away when it was!
