Had the most amazing experience at this restaurant. What a hidden gem!! My fiancée and I ordered the Jordanian wrap and the Chicken Shawarma plate. The Jordanian wrap was absolutely heavenly. The gyro meat on it was so full of flavor and simultaneous crisp and tender. The Shawarma plate came with chicken, a side salad, rice, and hummus with pita. The salad was probably the best salad I've ever had, with extremely fresh and green lettuce and tons of an extremely Greek dressing. Like the gyro, the chicken was juicy and full of flavor. The pita and hummus were likewise some of the best I've ever had, and the portions were extremely generous!! The price and value are great- I think our meals were like $11 and came with so much quality food. We also received great service from Karleigh who comped us some other dips and baklava when my fiancé's meal was made wrong the first time (he asked for no sundries tomatoes on his wrap and they forgot initially and then remade it promptly). The food is okay. I enjoy going here because it is a nice, quiet place to dine in West Baton Rouge area. There is nothing fancy-pants about this restaurant, but it was a huge change & renovation from the restaurant that was previously there! The food is descent...I go here when I crave gyro meat close to home! I would prefer for the gyro meat to be a warmer temperature than how I normally receive it. This time around I ordered the gyro salad and it was a fairly large serving...see my (photos), so the it would have been perfect for 2! I also ordered the fried cheese appetizer for me and my friend because it was recommended by the waitress (said it was a customer favorite). I do not remember the last time I had it, but after tasting a bit of it, I remembered why I did not like it...it was RUBBERY...and why was it rubbery...because it was IT WAS NOT WARM ENOUGH!! Seriously now, I am kind of disappointed that there is a temperature issue with a lot of the dishes I have ordered here. I took some of the fried cheese home and warmed it up on my skillet and it was perfect...how it should have been! My friend had the chicken shawarma dinner plate and she could not eat it because of the fat excessive amounts of fat on the pieces of chicken. She did enjoy the baklava though! read more

We ordered our food to go. It was ready when we arrived and the two hosts/servers were very nice. Daughter enjoyed her chicken fattoush salad. She said next time she'll ask for extra dressing. I had a gyro which was good too. It was stuffed with meat, definitely got my money's worth. Spinach pies were yummy. Overall I was very happy with the quality and amount of food. I live right down the road, and my husband and I are both crazy about Lebanese food! We get to go at least once a week when we need healthy food on the go. I always get the shwarma and gyros plate and they never dissapoint. I have had the fried cheese before, and while its good, I prefer the crunchy texture of other restraunts cheese to theirs. I love chicken swarma and it is very good here. The Athenos fish is also delicious. We also like the swarma salad and pasta. The Greek sauce (tzaziki ) is good. The service is always good. We mainly take out our food, but we have dined in also. It's an older building that has seen many incarnations. It could use some updates but I eat at restaurants for the food, not the way a restaurant is decorated. It always appears clean. read more

Best Greek food I've ever had. We came from out of town for a wedding and thought we'd try this place. It did not disappoint! I had the gyro plate; the meat was tender, rice perfectly cooked, hummus was some of the best I've ever had, and the pita was soft and warm. I've been here a million times. The food is delicious. But that's about where it stops. I've had good servers here, and I've had horrible service numerous times. The owners aren't always in, but when they are, there is a lot of yelling and cursing throughout the restaurant. They come to the table and ask if everything is okay, and make small talk, but when they walk back into the kitchen you can hear them start cursing again (I can hear this from the table!!). There is often confusion with the orders and it ALWAYS seems like they do not have enough employees. The water is nasty and sometimes the tea is even stale or moldy tasting. On top of all this, THEIR CHILDREN ARE ALWAYS RUNNING AROUND THE RESTAURANT YELLING OR CRYING, even when the owners are not there! I've honestly gotten to the point where I only go here to pick up a to go order. read more
