I was scheduled to take a 3 hr exam on Saturday, May 25 at 10:15 am. Arrived at the testing site at 9:30 am. At 10 am there were at least 15 people there to take their exams and no one was at this business. One guy had driven to hours given this was the closest site to him open on a Saturday. It's now 10:30 am and the business remains closed. We all call and no one answers the phone. Finally at 11 am a young woman shows up and simply says there was a scheduling problem. She does not offer an apology. By the time I get registered for my exam, it's 11:30. I ask if I get a 5 min break as told by my program. She tells me there are no breaks for my 3 hour exam. After the halfway mark, the computer tells me I can take a 5 min break if I choose to. I take the break and have to get her to log me back into the system after the break. I complete and end the exam 8 minutes early and waited for the screen to tell me if I passed. Nothing. I ask her why my pass/fail did not appear on the screen and she tells me the policy for this exam is they will email me and let me know. Rather than argue with her, I review my exam information and they state I should get my score immediately after the exam. Needless to say, I would not recommend anyone to use this testing site. They are unprofessional and uninformed. While several of us were still in testing mode, the door to the testing room was left open for More than -0 minutes leaving us to deal with the noise from the center. This business should be closed. Avoid. If I have to take my exam over, I would drive an extra 45 minutes to avoid testing at this location. read more

Scheduling my licensing exam online was very simple and there were plenty of openings available throughout the week. There's plenty of parking available in this lot since there's a parking deck. I got lucky and caught beautiful fall weather today, so I didn't mind the walk from the deck. The entrance to the suite is on the main level with Iron Age, and the pathway adjacent to Iron Age will lead you to ATG. The location is pretty zen and relaxing for those to need a more peaceful environment before taking a exams. Masks are required for entry! Upon entry, I was greeted by a staff member, and was promptly checked-in to take my exam. You'll need two forms of identification (I used my driver's license and debit card.) They have lockers you can lock your personal things in, and they are pretty large so could fit a handbag. I opted not to bring any personal items with me though, so I had a huge locker for my keys and 2 IDs. Remember your locker number and the staff will unlock after your exam. The facility was clean and surprisingly comfortable. I would wear something warm if you tend to get cold because they definitely had the air running. I think it depends on the exam you're taking, but I was provided a dry-erase board, marker, and calculator. Staff enters upon the end of each exam to sanitize and prepare for the next proctored exam, so there's a lot of traffic noise. I didn't notice until after I passed my exam that there was a giant jar of earplugs available at the entrance of the exam room. I thought it was a jar of candy (Halloween thoughts LOL) or else I definitely would have benefited from them lol. I also think you will instantly get the results of your exam depending on what exam you're taking, but for me I was able to know immediately. Staff will hand you your results and sign you out. The entire process was a breeze and stress free. *if you have disabilities you can apply for testing accommodations with the agency you are testing with! Majority of the time you will need to provide medical documentation and do so 2 - 3 weeks in advance. read more

My experience with ATG learning was poor. When I went thru they had gotten government funding via unemployment services. $5,000 was what the WIA program thru unemployment paid ATG for my Oracle e-business suites learning and the instructor (John Paul) was there just to take the money and offer no real training. He printed copies of an Oracle book, I had to purchase my own three ring folder to put the copies in the book and he just gave you an zip drive where you logged into the application. Your learning was pretty much on your own. It wasn't until I started to complain thru the WIA program, where he actually setup this "fake a__" classroom, where he "read from a powerpoint presentation" and he literally taught me from that. I gained nothing, what a waste of my time and the governments money too. he literally took the money and ran... I see ATG has a new location and the names have changed. I certainly hope WIA program shut John Paul down, he's a fake and government needs to demand he pay that money back. read more

I was in town for an IT training seminar that was supposed to result in a CompTIA certification. Of the testing facilities available this was closest to my hotel. My experience here left a lot to be desired. If you haven't pre-purchased your tickets from Microsoft, CompTIA or a third-party seller like Certify4Less beforehand they will absolutely gouge the price when you show up in person. In my case it was something like a 60% markup. I learned this the hard way when I failed the initial exam and found tickets to the same exam online from CompTIA's own store for less than half of what I paid on-premises. I argued with a sweaty guy behind the counter (who I assume was the manager?) and he refused to price match what I found online or give me any sort of credit back for the test I'd taken. Instead he was trying to coerce me into buying my second ticket from some other site which wasn't as good of a deal. I'm sure he gets kickbacks from the site he tried to force me to use. I said no to that and made him watch as I bought the ticket from the site I found, on my cell phone then used the redemption code to take the test in this office. All the while he turned red like a tomato and looked at me like he wanted to shank me in the throat. (Testing centers are supposed to accept these tickets no matter where you buy them.) It's their right to charge whatever they want I guess but something about this whole experience just made me come away feeling like I needed to take a shower, after being treated like I just stole $150 from homeless orphans, for not being willing to pay their exorbitant price. The facility was clean and modern but something about this place just struck me as sleazy. I see other commenters have observed drug use and corruption and I can't say I'd be surprised if this place were in fact a front for some other enterprise...customer service is either something they've never heard of or is just an afterthought in deference to whatever their real business model is. I had my back to the door while taking the test and have honestly never felt so unnerved and vulnerable in my life with this guy sitting right outside. Thankfully I passed my exam that time, went back home, and will never have to deal with this place again. Now, going beyond that: Parking was easy and convenient. There are a lot of great restaurants in the complex and a Target and a Publix for any other post-test shopping needs. Their hours seem to be pretty flexible. They have a second location somewhere north of this one. This one was located a stone's throw from a major highway so it was very convenient. They also had free cookies but as a general rule I do not recommend accepting treats from creepy men who stare at you like they want to skin you alive. read more

I've used this location as a testing candidate to take probably half a dozen Cisco exams. In that regard it has been fine. Nice break room with snacks, nice restrooms, small locker available for your phone/etc, and the test area itself was what you would expect. Plenty of free parking onsite. Expect incompetence, double and triple check your conformation email to make sure all information contained there in is correct to the letter and punctuation. Realize what they are telling you and repeating back to over the phone is most likely not what they are typing into their computer. I called this group on Friday to schedule a test for the following Monday. The individual I was talking to, while repeating back to me the location I told them I desired to test at, including times the test center was open that only correspond to that location, scheduled the test location in a different city and entered my name wrong with in the system. Of course, because I assumed this person had some level competence at their job I did not check the conformation email. Further more, since they do not record calls Pearson Vue assumes the mistake was mine. This naivete on my part has cost me the price of the test. Do not think to these people think of you as anything but a mark. Sadly, because of the monopoly of Pearson Vue and the monopoly of Brightbox (ATG Learning) within my city to administer these exams, if I wish to continue to my professional education I will have to continue to deal with them. My review is based on learning. Don't take the CCNA course at ATG. The boot camp is not taught you spend lot less money and learn online on the popular sites. It was a waste of time and money spent. The instructor basically read some of the books content. No hands on labs worked well at all. It was always an excuse someone mess with the lab before we got to the night class. If you are trying to get into the computer business and have no intentions of obtaining a college degree. Then I would check this place out at the Prado in Sandy Springs for the possibility of taking a computer class such as A+ certification training. The school gives you all the information that you need in a short period of time in order to pass the certification test. But it does require that you practice taking the certification test over and over again in order to get a passing score. read more

This company has given me many many problems. Everything from bad customer service, to unauthorized credit card charges. Every time I go there to take a exam there is always a problem. The receptionist Yolanda, and Manger Mike are both incompetent. Neither can scheduled tests correctly. Even when trying to reserve an exam days before they still screw it up so you can't take the test. Don't get me started on unauthorized credit card charges! There Better Business Bureau score is a "F". Please check the score out for yourself before handing over a credit card to them!
