It was three steps: 1. Consult - Aashu explained all the benefits and considerations for the procedure, the pricing model, and the appts needed. She also did a sample outline of what my brows would look like using some sort of makeup so I could get an idea. She consulted on possible shapes and styles and updated the outline drawn on my face so I could decide which was a good fit. She explained what to expect with the procedure in great detail. 2. 1st Appointment - Aashu had great communication with me about where to be and what to expect. She even kept my scheduled appointment on the day of a big snow storm. She used a numbing cream that made the procedure itself not very painful. It took maybe 2 hours. She gave me an aftercare kit and detailed instructions to follow, which were pretty easy. From day 1 I didn't feel the need to pencil in my brows anymore. I had a tiny bit of itching the first week, but nothing to be worried about. 3. 2nd Appointment - This one was the same thing but much quicker. She listened to my feedback and made the small tweaks I asked for. I am very happy with the result! After the second time, I will not be going back. As someone with thick/ dark eyebrows, I prefer that they are simply "cleaned up". This technician over-threaded, taking off more than I am comfortable with. One of my eyebrows is now longer than the other at the tail, one eyebrow is even thinner than the other, and more hairs were left past the new boundaries of my brows. Lastly: from the center, one is running from the other, emphasizing all of the wrong asymmetries in my face instead of balancing them. We know attention to detail to be important in said matters of the face. A lack was evident and is still evident the day after. A bit distressing. There is nothing to do but wait a few months for adequate growth to correct. Very disappointed.
