Many flavors of taro chips and regular potato chips

My mom recommend we visit Atabara chips next time we visit Hilo, so we decided to take her up on that suggestion. The girl working was very friendly and very efficient, and the reason for my kind words is that she was swamped with customers including myself and my wife. It's a small space inside and we're talking 10 plus people were inside shopping and buying plenty of bags of taro chips. Great tip is that when you spend over $85 dollars free shipping is included. We spent over $120 so thankfully those chips will be shipped to LA instead of taking it on the flight. What a great service idea. Everyone was shipping their chips back home to Honolulu so that meant everyone was buying plenty of bags so that girl was moving. She was excellent and most importantly very nice too.

I love their Adobo Flavored Taro Chips!!! The best!!! Go in for a sample! I'm hooked! I ordered for my whole family and now they are also hooked! Shipped 8 bags to Oahu for FREE!!! THANK YOU LADIES!

Established in 1936, the original Hawaiian chip by Raymond Atebara in Hilo, Hawaii! This is by far one of the most delicious chips you'll ever put in your mouth. Taro chips in all sorts of flavors. You'll see it being sold in markets and stores. Come to the main shop on at 717 Manono St! It's a must visit when you're in Hilo.

Good flavor chips and you get to sample them. A little bit pricey but worth it. My favorite is the adobo and chili pepper one

Make sure to check this place out if you're in the area! But as soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted by the wonderful staff, and the whole vibe completely changed. Inside, the space is bright, inviting, and thoughtfully set up. We were offered samples of their Kona coffee along with a couple of treats of the day, which was such a nice touch. As you walk around, you can actually watch them making their delicious goodies, which makes the experience even more fun and tempting. The shop was beautifully decorated for the upcoming Easter holiday, and they also had some really lovely gift boxes--perfect if you're looking to bring something home for family or friends. There's also a small area where you can grab drinks (and possibly ice cream too). I ordered a green tea latte, and it was absolutely wonderful. Overall, such a cozy, welcoming spot with great treats and friendly service. Definitely worth stopping by--whether you're craving something sweet or looking to pick up a thoughtful gift!
