OH MY GOODNESS!! I cannot recommend Lin's enough! I was in town for a conference and wanted to give all my volunteers lei..... I was told where to go to get Lei off the shelf so to speak, but it was a corporate big box store and while in Hawaii I only wanted to support local businesses for everything I did, while there. So... of course, I yelped! I found Lin's and called and I know it was last minute but I was hopeful! They worked with me in every way and delivered 14 of the most beautiful, freshly made lei right to my hotel! They were exactly what I had hoped for, made with such care and aloha and were such a high point in the day of my volunteers who had just had a full day of travel! What a wonderful experience arriving in Hilo on a beautiful Saturday morning and being greeted by one of the most sweetest persons in the lei stand. I was really looking to buy some leis and there she was. The woman in the lei stand was very courteous, so helpful and accommodating. I bought two leis, one for Lani at the Volcano Winery and one for her sister Malia and I brought back another one for my mom in Honolulu. I was impressed with the one I called, "The ever lasting Lei." I've never seen anything quite like it. After our last unfortunate event, I am so glad we were able to get leis. The lady helping us was so nice and there were lots of stuff to choose from. We primarily wanted a Maile lei and there's was ok, a lot better than the other place we checked out. I didn't end up getting one though, guess I'm so used to Oahu ones (fuller). Apparently, everywhere you go, there's a shortage of suppliers which is why it's difficult to get Maile leis. At least they had other Leis to choose from. Thank you Lin's. Having to make my arrangements from Florida. First of all I called a few times just with questions. Experienced nothing but kindness. I needed to place my order in advance Because the island had graduations with all high schools and 2 colleges and Mother's Day. Not only did I accidentally call on a busy day May Day She had nothing but positivety. I called back the following day to place order. Not knowing my schedule put pick up for 8am.
