Pacific Floral Exchange is absolutely fantastic. I first did business with them after winning a gift certificate during a silent auction (nice that they donate g.c.'s to help local charities.)
The gift certificate was for $50 ad I used it to order flowers for my family on the mainland. I paid for shipping separately (about $20) so my family got the full $50 value in flowers. Talk about value! The gift card was enough for several vases worth of flowers. The flowers arrived in excellent condition and lasted for weeks.
I've since used their service several times to send flowers to people on the mainland and have always received positive feedback.
Kelly in customer service is particularly helpful. Their website shows a variety of arrangements, but if you know your tropical flowers, you can custom order to suit your needs, depending on what is in season. It's important to remember that the arrangements shown on the website don't arrive arranged as in the picture. They come in a box and you have to arrange them yourself.
If ordering to send to the mainland, best to order on Monday.
My Dad loved Hawaii and when he passed away we wanted to add Hawaiian flowers to the services. The florist on the mainland wanted $125 for an arrangement with 5 stems. Yup, $125 for 5 flowers! I called Kelly and explained the situation. I wound up ordering $195 worth of tropical flowers. It was enough for 5 arrangements at the funeral home, 2 arrangements at my parents house, and 12 - TWELVE - centerpieces at the hall where we held a get together after the funeral. We then gave away the centerpieces to close friends and family.
These guys are great. Highly recommend them! read more
