He was great to work with throughout the whole process; some highlights: * Attention to Detail - Kay made sure we were happy with every detail of the build before moving on from design. He went back and forth with us and generated new renders for even minor changes to make sure we were 100% happy. * Moved Fast - Kay was always extremely responsive over email and when he needed to come by in person he would often come by the same day (and was very generous in the windows of availability he gave us). * Quality Sub-Contractors - All the sub-contractors Kay involved, from installation to painting, were as great to work with as he was. * Accommodated Our Asks - We had a few non-standard asks in the design but Kay went above and beyond to accommodate them. The best recommendation is probably whether we would hire Kay again, and we absolutely will - we already have a growing list of Kay projects for the future.

I found Bay Area Appliance Installation after reading their reviews on both Yelp and Google. When I called Paul, he was already booked about two weeks out, so we scheduled the next available appointment. He provided a four-hour arrival window two days beforehand and arrived within that timeframe. Paul and his team member professionally cut the Corian countertop, installed and secured the new cooktop, and tested everything in less than an hour. The cooktop fits perfectly and the finished installation looks clean and well done. They also went above and beyond by taking away the cooktop box and plastic packaging and bringing our old cooktop down to the garage for us. Pricing was fair, and I would definitely recommend Paul and Bay Area Appliance Installation to anyone needing appliance installation or countertop modifications.
