The transaction had a rocky start. I called in response to an ad on craigslist that advertised half a cord of firewood stacked and delivered "TODAY" I called to set an appointment for the following day and was told that the earliest I could have it delivered was Sunday between 5 and 6 PM. I said that was fine and I would make the necessary arrangements. At 5:54 PM I was called by David with At Your Request and informed that they would not be able to get out that day. Fine, I can understand that things come up. So I rescheduled with him the next Monday between noon and 1 pm. 1 pm came and went without so much as a call from the company. At 2:45 pm I called to confirm that they were planning on delivering at some point during the day. Elizabeth with At your Request answered the phone and claimed that she "had been meaning to call me all day". Elizabeth informed me that David was having issue with the trailer lights and was going to get them fixed. She told me she was going to call me back when David returned. At 3:42 pm I called again to find out when to expect the delivery. Elizabeth told me that David would be out there between 5 and 6 pm. David was supposed to call me when he was leaving because I wasn't able to wait around aimlessly any longer. At 5:50 pm I called the number that David had used on Sunday to see if he was still coming. When he picked up he stated he was just finishing loading up and was going to head my way shortly. When I expressed concern about if he was going to make it to my home before I needed to be elsewhere he became very irate. He accused me of "trying to start something" then hung up on me. I called him back a few minutes later and he had calmed slightly. I made sure he still planned to make the delivery and he confirmed. He stated it was going to take him about 20 minutes to get to my home, then a bit more time to unload. I said that was fine and I would make the time frame work. When David showed up at my home the first thing he said after introducing himself was "Sorry for being an a**hole" I kind of shrugged it off because it was a factual statement. At that point all I wanted was for him to deliver the wood. They began stacking the wood in the place I asked them to and did so uneventfully. When he "finished" I paid him. I wish I had looked at the stack of firewood closer because I did not get a full half cord. A cord being loosely stacked wood measuring 4' x 4'x 8', a half cord being 2' x 4' x 8'. What I got was about 2' x 3.5' x 7'. I also noticed that one of the wheel barrows that they were using had broken through my sprinkler box lid leaving a large hole that someone (or my older dog) could hurt themselves badly as a result of. After I saw the lid the the sprinkler box I walked back out front to bring it to David's attention. When confronted David and the other employee claimed to have no knowledge of it. I know that to be a lie because was outside when it happened and heard the lid break and a bit of wood fall out. I then herd them struggling to remove the tire of the wheel barrow and pick up the wood that fell. David then accused me of coming out front to confront him with only the intention of starting something (I assume he meant a fight) I told him "all I am saying is it would have been nice if someone had said something" He continued to verbally assault me while tying up his trailer. He made the statement to not call him again because he wouldn't come back to this address. To be honest that is fine with me. I had enough of the verbal onslaught and went inside my home. Cliff Notes: Called At Your Request and made an appointment. They called and rescheduled after the first appointment time passed. Rescheduled. They were a no call no show. I called again and made one last appointment. No call no show again. I called 10 minutes before the window was over and was spoken to very rudely. They finely made it out and damaged my property, then verbally assaulted me. read more

David came out, gave me a bid, then returned within a week to do the work. This was a lot quicker than I anticipated, but I was glad he was able to get it done so quickly. He cut down 2 old, half-dead trees from my front yard, trimmed one which was hanging over my house, trimmed the branches and brushy areas where my telephone and cable service comes to the house, and trimmed some low-hanging branches in my back yard, and completely cleaned up all the debris from his work. I was extremely pleased with his work. He and his work staff were pleasant and professional, and I appreciate that. I was pleased with his work, and I thought it was a good value for the money. read more

David and his crew came on time and cut down three trees. Two of the trees were next to the house, and very large. We were told they would be very difficult to get down. That was by another person that came to give us a bid. But, would not do the job. David came, gave a bid, and cut down the trees. They made it look easy. They had to take down part of our fence and they put it back up too. We have two small dogs and they made sure they could not get out. They were excellent. The bid was very reasonable. I will use them again and I will tell anyone that needs landscaping or lawn work to call David first. read more

GREAT tree service. They removed 4 large trees in our backyard (they were destroying our fence line and our sprinkler system) for a very reasonable price and were very personable and knowledgeable. Then, later, some of the stumps (that were huge and went down pretty deep) were somehow feeding some of the remaining ground roots enough that we were having new tree growth off of the roots, so David came back and ground out all the stumps further, along with some of the bigger roots, for free, which eliminated the problem. David was one of the best landscapers I have met yet. He came out to discuss my goals for my yard and made appropriate suggestions that I wouldn't have thought of myself. His bid was reasonable and when all was said and done I found great value in his work. He trimmed all of the trees in my yard and installed St. Augustine sod for me in front and back of my house. He stopped back by several times after completing the job to make sure I knew how to take care of the sod and was happy. I will definitely use his services again. read more

He explained what would be done to each tree. Very knowledgable..company was on time the day of schedule services. My trees look wonderful especially my large oak tree that I love. Company just wants to rip you off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Offer an online deal but have tons of hidden fees and if you question it you will not get a refund. Good thing I checked them out before buying. We decided to have another tree removed and he was able to complete that work also on the same day.
