Pros: +food came out very quickly after ordering, which was good because we were in a hurry +food was nice and hot +great service - waiter was attentive in refilling our water +very nice decor with the Studio Ghibli themed items and wall art +my shrimp tempura ramen tasted great good umani without being too salty. They egg was cooked and seasoned perfectly +good portion size for the current market - always wish they would provide more +they do give you two tempura shrimps, which can be more than most ramen places in the US these days +when I forgot my leftovers, they kept it for me in case I came back Cons: -tempura was soaking in the ramen by default, may want to ask to have it on the side -taking a star off for how expensive it is for a pretty basic ramen Parking situation: Located in Manayunk so you will have to find street parking and it is normally paid except on Sundays. Conclusion: one of the cheapest eats in Manayunk. They have a simple menu, good service, and cool ambiance.

Kagoshima Ramen (Tonkotsu) with chicken instead of pork

Fantastic place to get a meal after hiking in Wissahickon Valley Park. We were seated right away when we arrived. Service was great and fast. We ordered the dumplings to start which were tasty and I felt not enough! For my main dish I ordered the Tonkotsu ramen with chicken instead of pork. The chicken was fresh and crispy and the broth was flavorful with just enough noodles inside. It was delicious. I'll definitely stop in if I am in the area again!

Really great ramen! Everyone in our group ordered something different and we all enjoyed our meal. We'll definitely be back if we find ourselves in Manayunk. Service was good and the restaurant has a fun vibe.

4/5 taste 5/5 service 5/5 portion 5/5 price Definitely a good filling meal for a really good price. The takoyaki is really good. It seems like they're made fresh and are really crispy. The ramen isn't anything special but there's nothing to really complain about either. Service was great and quick.

Finally was able to sit down and have a meal in here after them being carry-out only during covid Service was Lightning fast and the food hit the spot as always! My wife and I got 2 full sized bowls and I think that's the perfect amount for a sane adult. The shrimp tempura was a great touch and stayed pretty crispy throughout. Check this place out next time you want ramen!

My husband and myself decided to go to @Ramen MNYK as we were going to come once before but it was too close to closing time. I'm so happy we did we were NOT disappointed! We both ordered the spicy katsu Ramen and got a side of pork buns! The Ramen was seasoned perfectly. The dollop of spice seasoning they put on top for you mix in was just right for anyone who likes it spicy but not too spicy. I love spicy but was absolutely content with this amount, as was my husband. The katsu was crispy and absolutely delicious. It stayed crispy long enough to enjoy the flaky texture. The egg was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. Next time, we will definitely order a side of the katsu. The pork buns were good. However it could have used just a little less sauce and maybe some pickled veggies to really make it pop. We ordered two diet sodas which come in a can, they give you a cute little mason jar to use. Our meal was really good. The staff was super nice and friendly and always asked if we needed anything and made sure everything was great! The one waiter even spoke to us a bit about anime as their decor is very anime driven. I definitely recommend and will be going again. The only downfall that has nothing to do with the actual restaurant is that we had a table of about 5 or 6 girls in their 20's sitting next to us. They were so obnoxiously loud that I could not even hear anything my husband was saying to me from 2 feet away across the table. They were just laughing and talking so loudly it was super annoying. I know everyone is out to enjoy themselves, but try to at least be a little respectful of the fact that everyone is sitting 3 ft from one another and that everyone is trying to enjoy a nice meal!

Had some of the most delicious ramen today at @Ramen in Manayunk. It was a rainy day and this was the perfect warm, cozy fix! I absolutely loved the takoyaki appetizer and the miso ramen. I went with 2 other people and they also loved the appetizer (we shared it) and their ramen bowls. They got the shrimp tempura ramen and the spicy katsu ramen. Everyone was happy! Portions were large, food came out hot and everything tasted fresh, quality and delicious. It looks like just your local, neighborhood spot, but don't underestimate it! We really enjoyed our meal. The inside is quaint, comfy and cute. We loved the touches of anime too. Servers were super kind and made sure we had plenty of water to drink! I absolutely recommend coming here for ramen and to maybe try some appetizers too!! I'll be back to try more :)

Wow. This was my first experience with ramen from a ramen shop. I loved it. The menu is super simple. You don't get a ton of choices. We order both types of dumplings and the pork katsu ramen. It was pure heaven. The broth was delicious and and the soft cooked egg floating in broth soaked up all the surrounding flavors. I liked that the spoon of pepper sauce set off to the side and gave me the option of stirring it in or dipping into it. The noddles were done perfectly and I wish I had more of them to go in the broth. This was an option that I did not consider ahead of time. The best part of my ramen was the crispy pork that floated on top. After I ate it I wished I had more of this as well. I can't wait to go back and try some different options here.

Truffle mushroom ramen is 10/10. I have been coming here for over 5 years now and it never misses. Best ramen I've had in Philadelphia.

Came on a Sunday evening and about half the small restaurant was filled - the space is super cute, with an inviting dark blue color scheme and cute posters and photos of inspirational quotes and dogs. We ordered the Tofu and Eggplant taco and Mushroom and Zucchini taco to start - both were delicious. The mushroom and zucchini one actually had slightly more flavor, but the sauces on both were really tasty with good contrast in flavor, and the veggies were fried just right. For mains I got the Vegan Miso ramen with egg noodles and my husbans got the Vegan Spicy Kimchi ramen with egg noodles. I LOVED my ramen - the broth was deeply savory, the corn added nice pops of sweetness, and I really enjoyed the soy patty - it was chewy and had a great bite. My husband also enjoyed his ramen and said it was one of the best in the city - the kimchi flavor was very different than any ramen I've tried before. Service is good and overall I will definitely come back to Taco & Ramen and maybe try a new item. Yum!

That alone makes it a very cozy spot when getting some ramen to warm up on a cold day. They have a variety of taco and ramen choices, as well as boba tea and other beverages. Tried the tonkatsu ramen: tasty broth, fair amount of noodles, and the pork, egg, and other veg was good. Shrimp tempura taco was tasty and had a nice creamy aioli sauce drizzled on. Both taco and ramen are pretty good, and the atmosphere makes it great. Thanks

literally best vegetarian / vegan sushi in the city…read more okay to start, if your friend/date/family member is vegetarian or vegan, take them here. you both will have options. inside is cozy. service is really thorough and like a well oiled machine. for the vegetarians: The lime sinko roll is a classic avocado cucumber roll with a pickled vegetable layer on top and a thin slice of lime. the roll itself is great, simple, and a classic. my sister really likes the pickled vegetable and lime on top. I however, just peel it off. it's good but I prefer without it. the veggie on fire is what you need: probably their best roll on the menu. it's a cucumber avocado roll with a spicy zucchini sauce on top and crispy fried onions. it's messy. it's spicy. it's delicious. the sauce is orange in color, has tiny slivers of zucchini in it. I was hesitant to try it at first, but it's my favorite roll now. the vegan tuna roll: it's marinated tomato in place of tuna. i've never had fish or tuna, but it definitely tastes a lot more fishy. I guess that's the marinade. texture is kinda slimy? mushy? I feel like this might be the roll for someone who liked the taste of fish but went vegan and wants a replica. Not for me, but well made nonetheless. Appetizers The veggie gyoza: the gyoza itself is green, doesn't taste different to a non green dough, but visually that might matter to some people. sauce they serve on the side is very good. comes with a lot, at least 6 I think. tastes good. I don't recall any mushrooms in it and if there is they are not noticeable as i'm not the biggest fan of mushrooms. The Spring rolls: new to the menu, no meat, interesting? they are more soft inside than expected. not a lot of veggies. tiny. cute little app to share and try. they come with two. no mushrooms. I typically prefer a more veggie heavy and crispy spring roll but i'd order them again! Samosa: currently off the menu I think, but in case they add it back, this was very good. i'd order this over the spring rolls. they were crispier and I think it came with three. Miso Soup: it's a fine little bowl of miso. I typically always order miso at every Japanese restaurant to start my meal. i'm not picky about miso, but I will say, it's not my favorite miso. I still order it every time, just not the absolute best i've had. It has small little tofu chunks and some green leafs which I find are in most misos but I have no idea what they are. small little bowl. perfect to order first. edamame: very good I always order in the beginning and I have a bad habit of also ordering another for dessert. the veggie bun: I don't like mushrooms, but if you do you will love this. my sister loves it. it's not often there is a vegetarian option for a bun, so i'd get it. the sauce on it is very good. comes with two. Karaage: This is chicken, but my dad gets it and it looks very good and crispy. if I ate meat i'd order this. avocado salad: okay so the ginger dressing is a little different than typical ginger dressing which I like. it's unique and very good. the amount of avocado is amazing! it has to be a whole avocado. always fresh. the green leafs are a little big, so this can get messy fast if you're on a date and trying to be demure. this is a must order for three people in my family. every time we go it's three orders clock work. I tried sharing with my sister and we determined we cannot share this. honestly bigger than I expected and more filling than I expected. has some cut up tomato's and cucumbers inside as well. mochi: must get. one order is one mochi cut in half. so two people could share one mochi order. i'm team chocolate, but I heard strawberry is good. I think I tried all of their flavors but honestly can't remember them. I'll update as I try more of the vegetarian/vegan rolls

From my seat I could see sushi being prepared and the daily workings and prep. The seating is deceiving as there are 2 seperate sections of the restaurant. Service was a bit slow even sitting at the bar and my water glass was never refilled even when asked but I'll chalk it up to a busy Friday. Will definitely be back!
