She knew every detail about this store. We talked about life and God. She touched my heart. I never met anyone like her. She has the best family values. She is a true reflection of this store. She really cares about her job and her customers. She is such a happy person.... I hope the manager reads this because MEGAN deserves to be acknowledged for being such a good person and worker. A check out employee summoned someone from the back of the store. He showed up again 20 min. later. I requested he load it into my vehicle, when we got to the vehicle he wanted a signature. I had no pen and tersely asked my wife if she had one. She did not. The individual pushed the cart all the way back to the store re-appeared 10 min. later with a pen. I signed, we left. When I got home, my Land Lord informed me the POLICE had called and wanted to do a welfare check on my wife because a Runnings employee had logged a complaint. WTF? I contacted management at Runnings Corporate but never received a follow up. My Land Lord said she will no longer order from Runnings.

Had a 20 year old gas fireplace that was too far gone to fix. (Could not find parts). Called…read moretwo local companies, BHF came out right away and did some measuring and suggested I do as much as I can to get the old unit out before ordering a new unit as it was going into a corner and it would help greatly if they could see what was behind the angled wall. I did that. The second company finally sent someone out to look. He looked, and looked and looked. Wrote down a lot of stuff and NEVER got back to me. In the meantime BHF came out again (for free) and this time had enough info to order a unit. When it came in they came out, removed the old unit completely, redid the gas line and electrical, even installed an outlet close to the new fireplace for a CO and smoke detector. They did it all without having to remove an existing mantle and big screen TV! They finished it right down to the drywall. I was able to do the mud and tape and put Airstone around the insert so it looks really good. Still have not heard back from the other place.

The shoppe itself is in an old house (knock on the door). David's a friendly fellow and a craftsman, so be patient. He said it would take a week, but it took more like four weeks. I've had problems with their chip reader on two visits in a row, and interactions with employees…read moreabout this issue have not been positive. The chip readers in the self-checkout are basically impossible to use. Several times now both myself and family members have had employees talk to us like we're stupid when the chip reader doesn't work. When my mother had this happen, a very rude female employee rolled her eyes at her, walked away, and said,"another victim." Today I gave up and asked to go through a regular checkout. Fix your chip reader you sh!t-gibbons.
