This place has everything you could ever need for home decor. Kitchen and bath items, throw pillows, rugs, storage solutions, dishes, gardening and plenty of holiday decorations as well. I really went here to window shop because a friend recommended this place to me. I ended up getting an entrance doorway mat for about $14 bucks. Very large store. If you need help, you will need to ask them. I saw minimal people walking around that actually worked there.

I love discount home stores like Home Goods and Home Sense. This place is MUCH larger with a huge variety of items. They organized the aisles pretty well and the store was neat and clean. It was not very crowded but I also went on a weekday morning. The staff was relatively friendly but I only interacted to check out. I do think some of the prices were a bit higher than expected, compared to other stores, for what you get. For something like a candle under$10 the price difference was a couple dollars. However not all prices were bad. I got a cute glass vase for $7 which was still a good deal. Also they have A LOT of inventory. My issue with other places is they only have one of something when you might want two or multiple for centerpieces or something like that. This place has triple the inventory. I mean even the paintings and wall art aisles were impressive!! The stuff was also my style. So overall it was a great experience. Just wish some of the slightly defective items had better prices. Check it out!

I went to this location because I was in search of a very specific type of furniture. I had seen it a couple years ago in one of their other locations down south. I visited several locations in the area looking for what I needed and was unable to find it. I even visited some competitors with no luck. So, I had some time this afternoon and made the trek and wasn't disappointed. Found just what I wanted. The store was very well lit. Very clean and the merchandise and aisles were all neat and tidy with no boxes of stock or other items on the floor waiting to be put away. The display items were all staged very neatly and well organized. There was ample parking available and very easy to get in and out of the lot.

At Home has everything one could possibly need for their home. We first discovered At Home at their Manassas location. The Chantilly location is just as huge. Prices are reasonable for the most part. Some items can be found at a lower price elsewhere. This location is very organized. Employees are friendly and helpful. A nice place to visit if you're looking for home goods.

First visit to this retail store. Like the great selection the store has inside. They have a whole bunch of furniture stuff, home decors, ornaments for Christmas and other holidays. Also, little tech accessories, kitchen items, and other household things. Prices are a little higher than other similar stores, though.

They have little styling vignettes throughout the store

Large warehouse with basic house stuff. This particular location is just ok. Their staff are hard to find, and reluctant to assist. They often don't have toilet paper in the bathroom stalls.

Is it a wardrobe or a huge stack of cutting boards?

Every man for himself at At Home. This is place is great if you're decorating on the cheap. If you wanted something like an end table or a rug, you'd have literally hundreds of options. For some, this is stressful (like me, when I was looking for the round white rug, and nothing was organized, so after an hour I gave up and came home with an oval blue rug. Oh well...) But it is undeniable that the quality is pretty low for most items here. This is not where you go to buy a family heirloom, it's where you buy a life sized cactus statue because cacti are cool this week. The organization of the items is about one to two rungs above TJ Maxx. There are at least multiples of things, and they are somewhat together. It seems like they hired a lot of new people who are more helpful than when we were here about 6 months ago. When we needed help getting something from a high shelf, we were actually pretty surprised that someone got a ladder and helped us get something. But if you are expecting someone to order some item they don't have on the floor...that's like special ordering from a yard sale. That's not how you At Home. Oh yeah, and stay away from the dreaded mirrored furniture section.

I usually enjoy browsing HomeSense for unique home items, but my recent visits left me…read moredisappointed. When I checked out on my last trip, the young gentleman at the register kept yawning and barely acknowledged me -- it came across as lacking basic manners and customer service. To make matters worse, a picture frame I bought turned out to be damaged in the corner when I unwrapped it at home. When I brought it back to return, the sales associate spoke to me in an accusatory tone and insisted that I had damaged it. I explained that I discovered the damage only after opening the packaging, but she refused to accept the return. Thankfully, I asked to speak with the Manager, who checked my receipt, realized I had purchased it just the day before, and resolved the situation professionally. I appreciated the manager stepping in, but the interaction should never have escalated to that point. Glad it was ultimately corrected, but the sales associate definitely needs better training in communication, customer courtesy, and how to handle returns without blaming customers.

Anyway...while he was at his appt., I decided to walk around the shopping center (FairLakes Promenade). I had seen Home Sense before but never got around to checking it out. Finally, got to do that today. At first glance, it looked like it was a furniture store. Yes, they have lots of furniture but a deeper look showed there was so much more. There are towels, bedding, kitchen utensils, household cleaning items, rugs and decorative items. My intention was just to look not buy. However, when I saw the food items, I realized that I needed a shopping cart. Things that caught my eye...imported pasta, pasta sauces, spices, sweets and a cleaning formulation for shower doors and mirrors. Truthfully, there were other items that attracted me but I exercised will power. For example, I saw a lovely vase but my sensible side said "we don't need another vase." There was artwork but sensible side said "We have enough of that and only so much wall space". When I went to check out, the cashier was friendly. I found out, when he tried to get me to sign up for a credit card, that they are part of a conglomerate that includes TJ Maxx. No, we don't need another credit card! My haul ended up costing $35 plus change. Once we were home, I showed my husband my haul. He asked what it cost and was pleasantly surprised. Aw, gee! I'm so proud of myself :D So, no regrets for paying Home Sense a visit!

This is an update to my review regarding the damaged doors that OLW delivered to my home. First,…read morethe doors were really ugly doors. They were pieced together and the screws and rivets were randomly placed on the door. One door was so bent out of shape that it could not be installed. When I called Marshall he wanted to pick up the bent door and order another one to replace it. It would take another two months at least (from a Canadian company) to get. After looking at the (can I say it: crappy looking door), I decided that I did not want to wait to get another door. Marshall FIRMLY told me that I COULD NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES RETURN THE DOOR AND GET A REFUND FOR BOTH DOORS. He said that Sunspace never refunded money. So I called Sunspace in Canada, and they told me that the refund was the responsibility of the American distributor. I called Marshall back and he said again, NO WAY are you getting a refund from us. To make a long story short, I filed a complaint with the VA Attorney General, who then notified OLW about my complaint. I got my refund shortly thereafter, and I paid OLW for a pickup fee, and they picked up their door. I got two lovely doors from Home Depot, with inside blinds, for about $100.00 less than I had paid OLW. The doors from HD were well made and one piece instead of being pieced together with ugly screws. They fit perfectly on the first try.

Terrible company! Don't use them. One of their trucks broke my windshield and I was told to…read moreclaim it under my insurance. The manager wouldn't even return my call. I have photos and videos showing that their truck's tarp wasn't in use, allowing debris to fly off of the truck. I provided a few photos to their office manager so they are well aware of this to be a fact and to be true. I plan on notifying authorities, providing them additional evidence and pursuing my claim. They should demand your drivers protect the property of others.
