This is the third large window that AT Construction has installed in our home. Adam, the owner of the company, is a gentleman and a true professional. His pricing is fair and reasonable. When we met to discuss the most recent window replacement project, he set a production and installation schedule and he followed it to the letter. Further, AT Construction's workmanship and attention to detail are remarkable. To evidence this fact, when they completed the work, the window looked perfect. Notwithstanding, Adam pointed out a small imperfection in one of the screens and promised to have it addressed and corrected. Less than 24 hours later, he already has a Pella representative scheduled to inspect and presumably replace or repair the screen. Alter two separate window projects (three total windows) we cannot say too many good things about AT Construction. read more

We just had our old small (4'x8') deck removed and a new 14'x16' installed by AT Construction Inc. We began searching for a contractor. You always hear the worst stories from friends and neighbors. I sent two pictures of the existing deck and a very basic drawing of what the new deck would look like. Adam was the only contractor that wanted to come out and look at the site and ask questions. Adam from AT Construction came out to the house. He looked at the site, took notes and measurements. He returned to his van and came back 15 min later to present our material options with a few quotes. We went back and forth via email regarding the details of the quotes and then we signed with him. We are very happy with the deck Adam and his assistant built. We were so happy we immediately contracted with him to repair the 2x6 trim of the garage door. We found AT Construction from researching various deck contractors online. We were looking to tear down and build a new deck with pergola and privacy screen. We had multiple other contractors come out to provide quotes. Adam (the owner) took the time to measure, take pictures, review our design and provided a detailed, quote same day that even included various optional prices based on the quality of material ranges and project options. No other contractor came close to the level of service and professionalism. Not even close. We went with AT Construction. Adam worked with us to finalize the design on paper, helped with Permit application details needed for our city, and was ultra-responsive through back and forth emails during the whole process. When we signed the formal contract, it was clear what we would be paying for at each stage of the process and itemized so we know exactly what we were getting. When the build started, the AT crew was fantastic, professional and very attentive to detail. The job site was cleaned up daily, so we could still use our yard for dogs/kids. They made tons of progress every day and were finished just under 3 weeks. Adam went out of his way to correct issues the previous deck builders made. When we asked for slight changes from the original design, Adam was accommodating and helpful to lend expertise. We had the amazing good fortune to hire AT Construction to reconstruct/update an elevated deck and staircase, install gutter guards and most importantly to install new window replacements throughout most of the house. Adam helped us uncover significant water damage from our failed improperly installed original windows. So, the project required not only window replacement, re-framing, insulation, siding and trim both inside and out. Adam recognized the missing flashing, seals, etc. from the original builder install and corrected all the shortcuts to do the job right. The magnitude of these projects was so extensive that it's just not possible to describe all that it details entailed. What is so impressive is the range of technical expertise that Adam demonstrated plus problem-solving skills, product knowledge, professionalism and communication, project management and an unbelievable commitment to quality and detail. The job site was always neat, clean, organized and professional. It was evident early on that Adam takes great pride in his work and making sure that we we're extremely satisfied. We trust Adam implicitly and would highly recommend AT construction. We have worked with so many in the past and clearly he is the best, most professional firm we have ever dealt with. We met with several contractors before selecting Adam who gave the best quote and the best knowledgeable plan of action. My review of AT Construction owned by Adam is as good as it gets. We started renovating on a large home in Lagrange IL back in early 2009-2010. We realized that the outside has been neglected for so long that it really started to get in bad shop. I had hired an Architect Randy King who is known around my area and the project for the exterior, all windows, rear addition, and gutters began in middle of 2016. Once we received the prints from Randy, we sought to find a builder. I have a friend in the trades who knows some so he gave me some numbers. I had originally thought to use Mark Neigo who does most of the work in Lagrange. I waited 5 months for him to get back to me and his numbers were laughable. I have a very strong construction backround myself so I can calculate correctly the approximate costs for this job. So after wasting 5 months with him, I called Adam who came out promptly. He measured, reviewed all detail with me and got back to me very quickly with a full detailed proposal that outlined each materials used, fastenors, you name it. it was a 20 page proposal. This was also based off the prints that I had emailed him from Randy King. I hired Adam based on reputation from my friend in the trade and conversations I had with him. The scope of the work was massive, I had known there was gong to be rotted wood under my old exterior but this was no problem for Adam. I had one wall for example that was so dilapidated from termites, the entire exterior wall needed to be rebuilt. Adam and his uncle were able to rebuild this without even disturbing the plaster on the inside. - impressive. So the entire scope of work was a complete tear off, fix any damaged wood (there was alot), reside using James Hardie & some kind of Hardie shingle as well as come custom work we implicated and changed on the original plan with a raised panel for the 3rd floor. -This was custom fabricated by Adam. The complete window job consisted of over 40 full size - full replacement Anderson. Given my old windows were encased with weights on the sides, framing would have to be added to make the new windows fit. Again, this was no problem for Adam and his Uncle. After work had started and the job was half complete, we had trouble with the Village and realized that the cost of the rear addition was too much and wanted to change it to a screened in porch which was pillar supported. The Village would not let us and wanted a complete dig out and concrete foundation (for a screened in porch lol) So... I had to improvise. I ended up asking Adam to complete a proposal for a new 16x30 rear deck and as well as a smaller side deck off the house. Proposal again was spot on and fully detailed. At this point given the amount of work I had seen Adam and his Uncle do, without hesitation, without any wonder of how he was going to do it.... Their experience showed and I fully trusted them. They were hired to complete and they completed both within 5 days. Both decks permitted and village approved inspections. The total job took around 5-6 months. There was a ton of custom work that had to be done and any such work outlined was brought to my attention and remedied for extremely reasonable costs. The entire job was a 5k SF home in Lagrange. Siding, windows, Gutters, 2 decks. Through-out the entire ordeal, they cleaned up each day, made sure the work-site was safe and water tight. I had also been working on the home along with Adam and his uncle so got to know them pretty well. I may have to invite them over for a BBQ this summer or send um a Gift Card to Ruth Cris for the great work they did. I would never hesitate to hire them again. I would trust them with any task and i'm telling you this having a very strong back-round myself who is meticulous with work and watched the quality they put in. I had a great experience with AT construction. Adam, the owner, is incredibly professional and thorough. I appreciated the detailed description of work on the contract. He was very reasonably priced and the work his team did was top notch. I love the siding and I really didn't think I would. It looks high quality and I love the color I chose. Adam provided all the samples I wanted and even some addresses of homes to look at. His crew was small but courteous and hard working. I had a raccoon dig a hole through my siding and called AT Construction to replace and paint the siding panels. Adam was great to work with and patched up the siding good as new.
