Go with a different carrier. If you're looking to start a new account with AT&T, don't do it. I've never experienced a company that is good at creating messes and so inept at fixing them. I have 2 wireless lines with them and was trying to add Internet. They messed up my account when attempting to set it up so my Internet couldn't be activated. After spending hours on the phone over the next 2 days trying to figure it out their solution was that the only way to "possibly" fix it was to cancel everything including my 2 phone lines and upgrade them to the highest service plan. When I told them I don't understand what upgrading my mobile phone plans has to do with the Internet plan they just told me that it's worth a shot. Worth a shot to them maybe because then they'd make more money off me. I immediately cancelled my service and switched to a different carrier. I have been a loyal customer of AT&T since they bought out singular back in the early 2000's. If this is how they treat their loyalist customers then that is a service I'll never work with again. read more

We went in with multiple issues and were helped by the nicest young man. Fawaz help us quickly get to the bottom of our issues was very knowledgeable with the products and promotions and helped us get everything we needed done in one trip- but more than that he was the kindest, most insightful person I have had the chance to talk to. Not very often do you go into a store to do mundane things and walk out inspired by the associate. I been trying to get technical support with AT&T for 5 months l pay my monthly service for 2 phones and l'm not getting my technical issue resolved I went into AT&T store on several occasions and was told they just sell phones that l need to call customer service so after endless hours no resolution on the phone l want everyone to know AT&T is the worse provider and the store that sold me the phone won't refund my money or help resolve my money so don't buy from AT&T or buy their service you will regret it ! Thanks to Rogel on Akers for helping me within at LEAST 35 minutes in and out! Considering how at&t on dinuba Blvd in Visalia, I will definitely go to this location instead. I had a fast and easy experience. Do not go to at&t dinuba Blvd. I waited 2 weeks for phone service while looking for work.. you can only imagine the patience I had dealing with them. Two female staff assisted my boyfriend and I with an upgrade. I'm upset with myself for not getting the name of the first lady that helped us. She has brown hair and eyes and wore glasses, she was extremely helpful with deals and saving money! The second lady's name was Jenny. She finished our transaction and did such an awesome job! This is also during the Covid-19 Pandemic so they were also practicing safe measures by cleaning, social distancing, only allowing a few customers in the store at a time. P.S. Went to pick up my new phone and to have it activated. The young lady was polite and helpful. However, she did something horribly wrong because now not only does my old phone not work but neither does my new phone. I don't know what she did but my phone is not connected to AT&T and I cannot make or receive phone calls on either of my phones. THANKS A LOT, NOT!!!! So these people need to know that you don't send someone away until their phone is activated properly. She took the SIM card from my old phone and put it in my new phone so now after spending MORE time on the phone with tech I STILL can't fully use my new phone. read more

Avoid at all costs. Took a wireless hotspot device here and asked the member of staff for a data sim card that would work on the device. I purchased the data sim card recommended by the member of staff . The sim card did not work, and shockingly, the store refused to provide me with a refund (despite AT&T customer service instructing the store manager to issue the refund!). read more

Poor customer service. I walk into store and girl asks what I need. I said a new screensaver. She went back to stocking shelves and after 5 minute wait decided to help me. Unreal! My wife was told from customer support that the phone she wanted was available at this location. She went to the location and wasn't greeted when she walked in. At that time there was one employee that was helping another customer. Another worker came in a little later and helped another customer. She waited almost 45 min before being helped and then was told, in a rude manner, that they didn't have the phone. No option to check another store or ask when she got there what she needed. Went to AT&T, they said you couldn't cancel a line and have the balance of the phone added to your monthly bill. The refereed me to billing with a 1800 number. I called the 1800 number in the store, after I got transferred between departments, they as well told me I could not cancel a phone line and add the remaining balance of the phone to next months bill. So all I could so was suspend the phone. The lady that I had spoke to never made a note on the account that I even spoke to her. Instead a note was made to the account about wanting to remove my phone via Bluetooth from my truck. I had never even called about that...When you suspend a phone you still have to pay the mobile value share data plane as well as the other expense a normal line occurs. A month I go online to the customer help center online and talk with a rep. The rep was able to cancel my phone and ad it to the next phone bill. So I go back into the store ( Visalia location off of mooney Bld) the rep I spoke to as well as the manager said I couldn't do what had been done by the online rep. I also would not be refunded the last months bill for that phone. If I could do this all over again I would havE NEVER EVER started using AT&T. Worst customer service in the world and don't know how to do their jobs at all. If they would have just made a note that I wanted to cancel the phone this wouldn't have been an issue.
