They're a knowledgeable group and don't sell what they don't need to. Wouldn't sell me internet speed that was to slow for my video games.

It looks like this store has moved, it's now on Monroe near the Secor intersection. I didn't look…read moreat the sign closely enough and thought this was a real Verizon store. I got my 2 year upgraded phone. 10 days later the screen stopped working. I stopped at a different (real) Verizon store and they told me I bought it through American Cellular so I had to go there but they are supposed to replace it since it's been less than 14 days. They refused to replace the phone and told me I had to file a warranty claim with Verizon customer service. I called them and they told me the store is supposed to replace it. I went back to the store, they said they totally WOULD replace it but I didn't buy my phone there. I made them look it up in the system, the sales guy counted on his fingers out loud the days since I bought it to make sure it was less than 14 then jokingly asked my toddler if he broke mommy's phone. Then he said they couldn't replace it because they didn't have another one in stock but they would get one from another store. The next morning I tried to return the phone altogether because they've been lying to me and lying to Verizon but I couldn't because I already sent the barcode on the box in for a rebate. As I left the sales guy literally laughed at me. It's been 5 days, real verizon is sending me a reconditioned phone which I said was fine because I would rather do that then ever speak to these jerks again. They called the store one last time and the store said they had a replacement but they sold it before I came into the store and now they don't have any in stock. Not that it matters because I refuse to step foot in that store again. Beware of American Cellular.

Came in on May 10th and was helped with the purchase of a new phone by Ghiman, whose assistance I…read moremostly appreciated. After I upgraded my phone for the first time in 6+ years (although I've been a Verizon customer for 10+ years total), the store clerk told me to go pick out a phone case (which I assumed there would be probably a 50% markup for but I disregarded that for convenience's sake). I say "probably" because there were no prices listed anywhere. While I was distracted, Ghiman put a screen protector and lens protector on my phone which I didn't realize until I got back to the counter (he also included an adapter that I didn't ask for). I didn't think much of it since the screen protector was already on the phone. The bill came out to $982 which was significantly higher than the $600 I paid for the phone, but I chocked it up to the setup costs and taxes. When I got home, I decided to more meticulously scour the receipt. I realized that between 4 accessories (screen/lens protectors, adapter, case) I was charged just under $240. I ordered almost identical products off of Amazon that night for $23, including tax. The store refunded the case/adapter but refused to accept the screen/lens protectors. I don't think it's a coincidence that the store hides the prices of accessories and then charges a 900% markup compared to similar vendors online. Applying non-refundable accessories at 10x market prices before customers can refuse and then playing the "no-takebacks" card is the icing on the cake. This is a shameful way to run a store and a shameful way to treat a decade-long Verizon customer. Can't imagine how many other people they've gotten with this tactic.

First of all let me say it wasn't the clerk that stayed an hour and a half past closing time to…read moretake care of me. It wasn't the employee. It wasn't the initial visit.. what made this this whole Odyssey a total waste of my time and money is I would guess the whole Verizon organization from top to bottom. I've had my phone for a little over a month now I bought a tablet. Additionally, with it tablets work fine phones never work correctly, but boy when they wanna get their money like shut your shit off even though they still haven't fixed the problem a month later this is after coin, tech-support, and everybody else underneath the sun, I can't figure out why every time I call them. They want to hang up before I get a chance to find out whether or not the phone is actually gonna work and this is happening several times if I wanted to be lied to and have my money taken from me for some BS services I would've became a hooker with a pimp because that's about the amount of respect I've gotten from Verizon sure they give me a discount because I'm a veteran but whatever percentage that is taken off doesn't mean no good if the overall function of the service is Nolan void not to mention the arrogance and the conceit that loses through the phone when you try to complain to somebody i'm at almost 45 days. My problem has not been solved. I doubt if it's gonna get solved I have one person that's working for me. This is the original clerk, fantastic guy, but if anything I would run and find another cell carrier, I would go with the other phone before I ever try Verizon again the same thing applies to AT&T, although in all fairness, this one is about Verizon they were doing us a favor when they broke up AT&T's Monopoly, maybe they need to break the phone companies up a little more cause they're still very very conceited. They look at you like you've got nowhere else to go. You're just gonna have to deal with us enclosing if Verizon, were a man, a real man Verizon couldn't count to 21 if they were totally naked

Yesterday, I visited the Toledo, OH Franklin Park Mall Apple Store for the second time in…read moreapproximately two weeks. I have been there many times over the years with very positive experiences. The first recent visit two weeks ago was an attempt to update my mom's Apple Watch because fall detection was no longer working and the "automatic update" had not updated and I couldn't figure out how to manually update it. While everyone was nice during that visit, I was passed off to various staff members and ultimately needed to leave the store because the update was expected to take more than three hours and they would be closing before the very slow process could be completed. When I arrived home, I followed directions to continue the update process, but it was repeatedly unsuccessful. I decided it was time to buy my mom a new watch - the newest SE 40" face model- and not have to deal with trying to salvage a watch that was beyond its prime. I also decided to go to the Apple Store during the day on a weekday. Alissa was the team member assigned to me and she immediately took an interest in understanding why the fall detection feature was important. She was also very patient as we tried various passwords. It would have been a more stressful process without Alissa right there next to me with her understanding encouragement. Throughout this process of turning in the old watch (btw, received a credit of $55) and purchasing the new one, she never pressured me in any way. Alissa spent approximately one hour solely dedicated to getting the new watch set up, which included several calls to my mom to obtain a code that was generated to her phone at home). . Throughout it all, she was patient, helpful and good-natured. I left feeling that she cared about my experience and in setting up the cellular watch with ringtone and my mom's watch face preferences. Alissa is a very sincere, knowledgeable and dedicated team member who clearly takes pride in her ability to help others in her role at the Apple Store. Thank you Alissa! You're the best!!! P.S. The new SE watch also includes an extra fast charger along with a watch band.

I cannot believe how horribly the Franklin Park Apple Store handled my warranty replacement. Apple…read morewasted my time, money, and patience with their absurd policies and lack of customer care. I live an hour away, and my Apple HomePod failed after a few months. I took it into the store, where they confirmed it was covered under warranty. Great! Except they conveniently had "none in stock." I pointed to a stack of them on the shelf, but no, those were for sale, and Apple couldn't just swap one out. Instead, they had to order a warranty replacement--almost certainly a refurb--and have me return later. Fine. Annoying but okay. I asked if they could mail it to me since I live so far away, and of course, the answer was no. I had to come back in person with the defective unit. So I made the two-hour round trip home, waited, and then received an email telling me I had five days to pick up the replacement before it would be returned. I had to take time off work to drive another two hours round trip to swap my old one for the new one. I asked them at the store if everything was in the box. "Yes, everything is in the box," they said. Guess what? I get home, and THERE'S NO POWER CORD. Now I have a useless HomePod that I can't even plug in. I try calling the store and battling through Apple's awful automated system. When I finally reached a human, it was just an off-site answering service. They struggle to get the actual store to pick up. After holding for 15 minutes, I finally got someone from the store. First, they try to tell me the power cord must be there because "it doesn't come off." WRONG. The large HomePod's power cable DOES come off--the HomePod Mini doesn't. They don't believe me and have to check. When they finally admit I'm right, they offer two terrible choices: drive another two hours round trip to get the missing cord or have them mail it to me with no tracking, meaning if it gets lost, I'm out of luck. So now I have to decide whether to waste another $35 in gas and hours of my time or risk waiting another week and potentially never seeing my cord. This whole process was a joke. Apple does not care about its customers. They put the entire burden on me, costing me time and money to correct their mistakes. A multi-billion-dollar company can't figure out how to make warranty replacements easy. Apple turned This simple fix into an expensive, time-consuming nightmare. So disappointing.
