Second was when MacBook Air shut off in midst of update and wouldn't/couldn't restart - patient advice helped in waiting out the problem until restart was complete. This company would not give me a refund for work never completed. They require prepayment and when…read moreI decided not to move ahead they refused to give me a refund. I called 5 times and was told on all separate accounts that a manager would call me back because they changed accounting systems and only a manager access the old system. I never once received a call back. After calling again three years later, I finally got an email saying too much time has passed and they will not refund me. How can they keep someone's money for a service never provided? This is illegal in many states and the business is suppose to report unearned revenue to the state or refund the customer. It's blatant robbery. Awful customer service!

Their communication was horrible (I…read morehad to be the one to cal them once a week to get status updates) and the repair took three weeks as opposed to one. Once I bought a new power cord and fired up the laptop after their "repair," the laptop was in the exact same state as when I dropped it off (just now missing a power cord!) They said they had to send it out for repair. Hell I can do that myself. In essence, whomever they sent it to was useless.

I've been here three times for repairs on my Google Pixel 5 device. The first visit, they didn't…read moreseal the phone's back correctly. The second visit, they replaced the wrong part, despite me being extremely clear about the volume button not working. The final visit was to repair the side buttons that were damaged as a result of the first visit. Usually when I call, there's someone who answers the phone and mumbles profusely the entire time. Every time I've been here I've asked them explicitly to email me and they never have. Instead, they have called my phone while it has been in their possession. Needless to say, I'm very disappointed with the lack of basic courtesy at this place, and with the skill of the associates performing repairs. They also "required" my PIN code to perform a hardware repair "to run diagnostics required by Google". I checked with Google and they told me this was not true, is a big deal, and will be reported because my data privacy and security have been breached. I feel violated, and I also feel bad for all the less tech savvy customers who are unfortunate enough to deal with this place. Want to succeed? Stop hiring kids out of high school and learn how to email your customers when their devices are ready to be picked up. Figure out how to train your employees. I noticed after the third visit that they didn't reinstall both bottom speakers on my phone and Google will be replacing the entire device since the techs here are clearly incompetent. This place is such a disaster.

I specifically asked will the iPhone 5 still be 49.99. She said yes. Guess what that was a shady lie. I tried reaching out to Boost customer service they said I would have to go to the Boost store to do that. I went and I was told they do not sell the iPhone 5 anymore. I could buy the iPhone 6 for 200.00 or add a line and get it for 49.99 yeah but I wanted not to generate more cost in the long run. I said I was told that I could get the iPhone 5 for 49.99.
