I was told my phone was locked and wouldn't work, so I need to purchase a new phone. I said, I didn't want a costly phone and was told, $95.-$100 per month w/ service. Then, the two employees who never stood up all while we were talking, directed me to the local MART for a GoPhone instead. I came home to a flyer from AT&T wireless and went online to check it out. I chatted w/ Jessica and within a few minutes she priced a new phone and service for me which was reasonable. I told her what happened at my local store and she asked about my current phone. Come to find out, I do not need a new phone at all. Imagine that. Maybe next time, the employees should stand up when a potential new customer walks in so they can see who to speak to. And don't lie to me. I understand trying to make a sale, but if I need anything in the future, I will deal with AT&T online.

Only after checking my receipt did I realize I'd been charged for something I never explicitly agreed to pay for. To make matters worse, when I called to ask for a refund, I was told that GameStop Pro is non-refundable--despite the fact that it was added without properly informing me of the cost upfront. This feels incredibly dishonest and leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I've been a longtime customer, but this kind of sales tactic feels more like a scam than a service. I won't be returning anytime soon.

The rep then told me they couldn't help because they closed in 20 minutes... why wasn't I told this. You go to another store and they allow customers till they actually close. But whatever.
