They gave him a quote and he brought it back home so we could decide on what to do because the motherboard was broken. January 13th, I visited the phone repair shop and had told the employee that the phone was already looked at and what was wrong with it. He said they would have to ship it to be fixed and it would take a week to be fixed which I was fine with. A week later I called for an update, they hadnt even shipped it out yet but were going to ship it out the next day. And then quoted me $100+ more than they had quoted my male s/o for the SAME issue. About a month goes by, no calls from the phone repair shop so I call them. I was told they're still working on my phone but it would be "fixed by the end of the week" so I was hopeful. I call at the end of the week (Feb 11th) and they tell me that they were able to turn it on but nothing would be backed up, therefore saying it couldn't be fixed and wasn't fixed. The phone would be sent back to the shop. I figured that I would of been contacted when my phone was delivered back at this phone repair store, but I heard nothing. I called yesterday (Feb 25) and asked if my phone had been returned, and the employee said yes. Went and picked it up, and will not be returning to this phone repair shop. Nor recommending it to anyone. I understand fully that some phones can't be fixed, but to go as far as to tell me that it "would be fixed by the end of the week" is insane work for something that couldn't be fixed. Their lack of communication was the worst part of the whole situation, my phone was gone for a month when it should of been a week. I don't think they would of called me unless I had called them. Also I believe that I was quoted $100+ HIGHER than my male significant other for the SAME ISSUE because I am a female.

Completely unprofessional and broke my SIM reader during a simple battery replacement…read more I brought my phone here specifically to have the battery and the charging port replaced. The phone worked perfectly fine otherwise; because the charging port was loose, I had simply been using a wireless charger for over a year, and I just wanted a fresh battery that held a charge longer. While they had my phone, they called me to claim my storage was full and asked if they could delete some of my games. I asked why they were even accessing my internal storage for a strictly physical hardware repair, and the woman immediately got very defensive. I explicitly told them to just do the work I requested. They then sent me photos claiming to show "water damage" on an internal chip. However, the photos showed absolutely no identifying details--no IMEI number or serial number--so I have no way of knowing if those pictures even came from my actual device. When I picked up my phone, it immediately showed a "Not Connected to Network" error. I pulled out the SIM tray and discovered my physical SIM card wasn't even in its slot; it was just floating loose on top of the tray. I have tried to re-seat the SIM card properly into the tray slot seven different times. Every single time I slide the tray back into the phone, something inside catches the card and forces it out of place, causing it to come unseated and lose network connection. When I called to report that my network connection and SIM reader were broken by their technicians, they casually just told me to bring it back. I am incredibly frustrated by the lack of professionalism, the unauthorized access to my storage, and the fact that a simple battery swap resulted in a phone that now cannot connect to a cellular network. Avoid this place. UPDATE they would claim no responsibility for anything. They said my phone was like that when it came in which is a gd lie. They know it and it know it. Better business bureau and Missouri Attorney General office is my next step after flooding the internet with this review. 2nd Update Took my phone to another repair shop who discovered that not on my had they broke the antenna inside so it could not make calls or messages, the battery they supposedly replaced is either faulty or they damaged it too. It will not charge above 1% on either a wireless or a direct cord connection and it gets extremely hot. Too hot to touch so ihad to unplug it to prevent a possible explosion of the battery. I ended up having to buy a new phone for $1299 because of their horrible service. They got pissed because I called them out on going through my phone so I guess they decided to get back. Look who's laughing now. I can afford a new phone. They're going to have to deal with the attorney general's office and the better business bureau as I have filled complaints with both. Plus they can deal with the loss of business from my reviews posted on TRUSTPILOT, YELP, GOOGLE,NEXT DOOR. People do look at reviews. As soon as I find more places to post reviews I will be doing so.
