I dropped off my laptop to be fixed. I included its power cord. Their communication was horrible (I had to be the one to cal them once a week to get status updates) and the repair took three weeks as opposed to one. Once I bought a new power cord and fired up the laptop after their "repair," the laptop was in the exact same state as when I dropped it off (just now missing a power cord!) I've been here three times for repairs on my Google Pixel 5 device. The first visit, they didn't seal the phone's back correctly. The second visit, they replaced the wrong part, despite me being extremely clear about the volume button not working. The final visit was to repair the side buttons that were damaged as a result of the first visit. Usually when I call, there's someone who answers the phone and mumbles profusely the entire time. Every time I've been here I've asked them explicitly to email me and they never have. Instead, they have called my phone while it has been in their possession. Needless to say, I'm very disappointed with the lack of basic courtesy at this place, and with the skill of the associates performing repairs. They also "required" my PIN code to perform a hardware repair "to run diagnostics required by Google". I checked with Google and they told me this was not true, is a big deal, and will be reported because my data privacy and security have been breached. I feel violated, and I also feel bad for all the less tech savvy customers who are unfortunate enough to deal with this place. Want to succeed? Stop hiring kids out of high school and learn how to email your customers when their devices are ready to be picked up. Figure out how to train your employees. I noticed after the third visit that they didn't reinstall both bottom speakers on my phone and Google will be replacing the entire device since the techs here are clearly incompetent. If I could give Ubreakifix zero stars I would. I have had the homeplus monthly plan for 9 months now. I live an hour away from the nearest ubreakifix and also UPS Store. I have tried to have three devices fixed in those 9 months. All three times I was told they could not help me and I had to send it in by myself, which again is an hour away from my home. I dropped my 8 year olds tablet off 3 weeks ago and they told me to submit a claim and as soon as it came through they would order the part and fix it, since I live so far away and shipping is extremely difficult. Keep in mind this is only for a simple cracked screen on a tablet. I just called, the tablet is still in their possession and they have not started working on it and informed me that they will not work on it at all. That I have to drive an hour down there, go an hour home and pack it all up and find a box to fit it and somehow protect a tablet in a box so it doesn't break more or get too hot, and then take it back down to the city to a UPS store to ship it so it'll then take TWO MORE weeks. So most of my kids summer break. They stated there is nothing they can do to help me at all. So if you want to have to do every single step by yourself, this is the place for you. If you want help in any manner or anything to get fixed, do not use Ubreakifix. None of the locations. The people that helped me were fine, I know it isn't that persons fault. Their policies on the other hand...they want you to pay monthly and then be inconvenienced enough that you don't follow through with actually fixing anything. read more

Just FYI, this place is not Apple certified. Had issues with a screen repair done by them and they charge twice to triple the amount of what an apple certified place charges. VERY DISAPPOINTED!! I got charged $269 to replace an I phone screen and had to have it redone and it wasn't covered under Apple care because the screen you guys put on wasn't Apple certified. I used the liberty location for the first time and was left very disappointed. I was told my repair would take 5 days and it was almost 3 weeks before I got my tablet back. The only reason it was that quick is because I kept calling them. They never once reached out to me and once they fixed the screen they needed to keep it an extra day since they broke the charging port while fixing the screen. read more

I bought a new laptop in 2019 - HP Spectre. Love it. I mistakenly let it go into sleep mode, while running in the battery. The battery died and my laptop became locked in sleep mode. Everything I saw on YouTube said to do a hard reboot. It wouldn't wake up. Then it said to remove the screws from the bottom and remove the battery. Well, good luck finding the screws!! They are hidden under the non-slip pad. So I took it to Lilli, the store manager, and she had it up and running within a few hours. Whew!! I'm too old to understand anything hardware related. Perhaps if I'd known where the screws were, I'd given it a shot but how nice that I didn't have to. $27 and I'm up and running. While it could have cost me $45, I instead got the Assurion Home+ plan and, if I choose to pay $25 a month, I don't ever have to worry about costly repairs to everything but my cell phone, as can my family. If I choose not to pay $25 a month, then I can choose not to. No contract. I'm thrilled. Thank you so much, Lilli!! read more

Horrible customer service! I took my sons PS4 in for a cleaning because it was shutting off when playing downloaded games (one game in particular), so he could only play games on disc. They told me it was very dirty when they cleaned it but the tech was able to play the game my son had left in there. Brought it home, son played the game that was in it, played a few downloaded games and then when he went to play a different game on disc, it wouldnt work. After trying a handful of other discs. I called the store. They explained it could have been a spec of dust that got moved when he took out the game that had been in during repair. They said I could bring it in and they would look at it/clean it again. Dropped it off, when it was picked up we were told the disc drive needed to be replaced for $150. The disc drive wasnt a problem before we took it in. After weeks of teying to get a resolution with corporate, I was told today that the owner of the franchise has declined to do what's right and fix their mistake. I strongly suggest you take your device somewhere else, in particular a corporate owned store. The gentleman that helped when it was picked up a second time (Kyle) was extremely condescending and lacks the maturity neccessary in a customer service position. read more
