Took my iPhone to Foxpaw (2nd mistake) after it was water damaged in the ocean (1st mistake). They…read morecharged me $50 for their multi step cleaning process without being overly optimistic about the chances of saving the phone, but said there was a decent chance of at least being able to get some of the data recovered. 3 days later, after the "very thorough and detailed cleansing, including ultrasonic bath" I got the notice that my phone was ready. Unfortunately it wasn't fixed and I was told they couldn't even power it up. I guess I wasn't too surprised. But I was very disappointed when I took the phone to another local one-man shop and asked if there was anything he could do to get the pictures, contacts, and Notes from the phone. He opened the phone while I was there and it was nasty. While Foxpaw apparently did open the phone based the fact that the exterior screws were not replaced, that appears to be the only thing done. The phone was clearly not cleaned, nor did it appear to have been further dismantled to do a proper clean. As the gentleman removed several more components from the inside of the phone, a small pile of salt and other residues slowly accumulated on his work station. Thanks Foxpaw for charging me $50 for removing those tiny little special screws from the outside case, but especially for making me think the phone was at least cleaned and decominated as soon as possible to prevent further corrosion.

My iPhone 6s screen was cracked. I took my phone to FoxPaw to get it fixed. They charged $120 and…read morethen another $20 for a camera/speaker part that they broke while repairing my phone. I had some problems with the screen like it being a weird blue color and the calibration off, but I did not want to take it back there thinking the reason my screen acted like that was because it was an aftermarket screen. A few months later I picked my phone up off the counter and the screen was completely broken- not shattered, but lines going all throughout my screen. I contacted FoxPaw since my screen was still under a 1 year warranty, and they told me they could fix it. I drove two hours to get to FoxPaw only for them to tell me that the damage done to the LCD was "user's fault" and the "manufacturer would laugh at them if they tried to repair this screen." They said they could knock off 10% of ANOTHER repair price so it would have been another $100 to get my phone fixed! I bought a new screen and repaired the phone myself for $40. When I opened my phone up, turns out multiple screws were in the wrong places, and one screw had come loose and was lodged into the back of the LCD right where the crack was. Thank you FoxPaw for not fixing my phone, but rather breaking it. Do not recommend. Better off doing it yourself.
