The store location didn't have any phones in stock that went with this promotion so I had to do it over the phone. The man kept saying he couldn't help me because I didn't get a phone from his store. He even said this isn't a real at&t store but a secondary style location. Idk. But he was very rude and then he literally kicked me out the store because he said he couldn't help me and he was the only employee and other people were waiting as well. Horrible customer service. I logged in to MY account and made an appointment to pick up a cable box, a free cable box that is included in our service set up through the HOA. Roberto called me up, on time, and when he pulled up the account told me I wasn't an authorized user. I am an authorized user, and I told him that I was, that I had just swapped out equipment a few months back and showed him where I could log in, with my own user name, showing my own name. He told me he couldn't do anything if he didn't see my name on the screen, slumped back in his chair and looked off into the sunset, so I asked for a manager. I met with Katie, who was incredible. She got off a call to talk to me, asked me questions, listened to me, explained that they updated their systems (not my problem, but understandable) and after showing her the death certificate for my dead Dad, helped me update the account and I walked out with a box. If Roberto doesn't care about customers, he shouldn't be in customer service, but thank God for people like Katie who care. Thank you Katie - don't deal with Roberto - he doesn't care.

I like everything about my laptop so I really didn't want to start all over again, but I also didn't want to have to spend a lot to get it fixed. The techs and office personnel at STC couldn't have been nicer. They had me back up and running in less than 24 hours and I left, feeling I was among friends and hadn't been taken for a ride. The cost was more than fair, as well. They told me to come back in any time if I have problems,or even if I needed apps installed, and I got a full year, full service warranty. I should add that they knew I was a snowbird and wouldn't likely be a returning customer, but they treated me as if we were now all a part of a team. A very special experience.
