I switched to AT&T and it has been an absolute disaster.
I signed up under the First Responder program as a nurse working in a Level 1 trauma center, expecting professionalism and honesty. Instead, I've dealt with poor communication, lack of accountability, and a major financial issue that still has not been resolved.
My husband and I were promised a switcher promotion after trading in our phones. We paid over $1,000 out of pocket to pay off our previous carrier, with the understanding that AT&T would reimburse us. That reimbursement was never processed because the store manager failed to submit the claim.
Now I am being told there is no record of it, and because there is a submission deadline, I am at risk of losing that money entirely due to THEIR mistake.
To be clear: AT&T currently owes me over $1,000, and no one has taken responsibility.
I have gone back to the store multiple times and have been given the runaround. I've been told to call different departments, and the manager claims he is "working on it," yet weeks later there is still no resolution.
I have tried to be patient and gave this situation over five months to be resolved, and I have still received nothing. At this point, I have no choice but to start making this issue public and leaving reviews everywhere I can.
As a night shift nurse, it is extremely difficult for me to keep going into the store during their limited hours. I should not have to repeatedly chase down an issue that was caused by their staff.
This is completely unacceptable. I upheld my end of the agreement and paid off my previous carrier -- AT&T needs to uphold theirs.
This needs to be resolved immediately. If this is not handled promptly, I will be forced to take further action. read more
