I have been trying to get the new iPhone 17 pro max since they came out. I have called several stores in the Katy area but to no avail. I had setup a pre order but it wasn't t due to ship until November 10th. Yesterday I called this store which is the one I have dealt with for years and they had one. I rushed in and met with Luis and he took care of me. We set down and literally in minutes he processed my upgrade and had me on my way. He even offered to send my trade in back for me which I will drop off today. Quick excellent service so I guess I will stick with them. read more

Service is horrible here. I've had an issue with my device trade in since February. I've visited this store several times and called customer service several times, they've even created cases to the "President's Office " and still they can't seem to get my lines corrected. I walked in the ATT store here at 19959 Katy Fwy and there is no one on staff that can help with my issue because the manager is gone. The representative Luis Savedra had the nerve to ask me why I waited to come in an hour before they closed and then he mentioned that they are sales not service. I'm so displeased with ATT. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. If I could rate with a negative number I would. It's unbelievable that a company of this size would have such poor customer service and be unable to resolve an issue that I see as minor. This place is not only extremely unhelpful, but VERY rude as well. My parents and I went there to go swap out our phones for the new 16. This man there, no idea what his name was but he has teeth that distinguishes him from the rest, was incredibly rude. When my mother approached him asking if he can swap out our phones, he proceeded to ask her if she wanted a job. Mind you, my parents are foreign and have a slight accent but are NOT illegible. My mom is a teacher so I know for a fact people understand what she is saying. He patronized my mother for a few minutes and when asked simple questions he'd talk to her like she's five. Later on, when asked to go see if he has any in stock, he proceeded to go back there for 20 minutes doing god knows what. Then, he came back telling us that he can't help us, not sure why he couldn't say that from the start and spare us the time wasted. Whatever you do, go somewhere else, I had to restrain myself to say VERY strong words to him. I have signed up a family plan with four lines January 2022. We were misled by the sales man with numerous mistakes 1) promotion is linked with company employee. My spouse works at qualified company. She has to be account holder. However, we were not told that she has to be the account holder. This Enders with loss of discount and surcharge due to the change. 2) insurance fee $45 per Month and future upgrade fee $15/ month were also added to our account without authorization All ATT employees have worked diligently to their best. However, the monthly bill statement is simply hard to follow. ATT has committed these intentional errors to boost their quarterly profit. Lessons learned 1) keep a copy of your contract to trace what you have signed up. You have to trust and verify them 2) review the first bill statement as they more than likely add extra features and fess like insurance if future upgrade option fee if you don't like it. 3) ask a written mobile phone service contract (including new phone install payment, trade-in fee, various costly or optional features/fees) to include all details to hold the Att store and corporation accountable. Otherwise, it could become expensive to get your money back. I consider staff working at ATT are great people, however, management may have intended to make contract (not available) and bill statement hard thus customer suffers in loss, staff spent great effort; in order to maximize the profit. read more

Cas helped me out! Spent time making sure my payment went through. Then tried upgrading me to directNOW! Good sales guy. But not ready for that upgrade. Then went out or his way to show me some sound bars. In the meantime some Asian lady was waiting. Little did I notice till I left the table I was sitting at. She was rude!! She was like "Are u finished?" I said yes and as I walked out the door seemed like cas was done for the evening and told her to wait for the next available tech.That was funny!!! The store has very poor service. On our first visit, we waited 30 minutes for help and finally left. We ended up scheduling an appointment for the following day. It did little good. We waiting 20 minutes for service the next day and then left. The employees had little sense of urgency and had little concern for those waiting. On Monday, November 24th, my mother went in to trade in her phone pursuant to an AT&T promotion. She dealt with a lady behind the counter that was real helpful but there was a dispute concerning the value of the trade-in. Meanwhile, an employee by the name of Juan Arriaga interrupted their conversation. My mom explained to Juan that this was an issue between her, the lady behind the counter, and the manager. Juan proceeded to tell my mother that she needed to "show some respect. " On his way to the back room, Juan Arriaga looked my mother in the eye and called her a "b**tch." Nevertheless, Bruce, the manager, was very helpful and resolved the problem. Bruce has knowledge of the situation between my mother and Juan Arriaga. Upon checking a few days later, Juan Arriaga still has his job and still interacts with customers. read more

After 5 years, this store will be the reason I am switching to Verizon! Beware of incompetent and frankly ignorant customer service. I tried to inquire about "PRE-Orders" made on my account without my knowledge or consent. Apparently, retail stores are meant for sales only. For everything else you have to contact "CUSTOMER SERVICE by dialing 611" After I pressed upon ASHA (sales associate) to find out more, while I'm at the store. ASHA (Sales Associate) vaguely accused me of FRAUD. Once asked to repeat she walked away! After this idiotic accusation, I asked for Manager. Who denied me to record further communication (wouldn't let me record the conversation by simply walking away) After I turned the equipment off, she tried to reason it with "miscommunication". I've had AT&T for as long as I can remember, and the customer service has always been great until today. So you can understand how upset I am I will tell you the quick background story. Lost my iPhone 7 plus just a few days ago (didn't buy insurance. I know..believe me I learned from my mistake). so I purchased a GoPhone since one of the AT&T representatives told me I could purchase it and activate it under my existing line, and be able to return it within 14 business days. Well it so happened that I found my old iPhone 6 so I was able to activate it under my line, and not have to use this GoPhone. Well this is where it goes horribly wrong. I came in to this AT&T location and had to work with the rudest person I have ever met in my LIFE, who is the manager. Red head guy by the name of Donald Elrod. The moment he came out( which I waited for 25 minutes) I can tell I was in for it. One, everyone who worked in this establishment was wearing a name tag showing their name and position, but him. Two, he didn't even introduce himself..you're a manager, act professional. I explained to him my situation on how one of his associates sold me a phone and didn't tell me about the "restocking fee" and also told him I'm in the sales business as well, but that I sell cars and that my phone is very important to me which is why I purchased the GoPhone with the intentions of returning it. He then asked me "did you not read the receipt" and had the NERVE TO SAY "IF I BOUGHT A CAR I WOULD MAKE SURE TO READ EVERYTHING I WAS SIGNING". Seriously?? This is how you are going to try to resolve my issue with this whole situation? I wasn't sure if he was judging me by my tattoos or what but I have never been disrespected to this level like I was today by Mr. Donald Elrod. I couldn't believe what he said, and it gets worse. He then said "well if that's the only thing you're here for then okay" and walked away from me. Just like that. Nothing fixed. Not even giving me his card. Nothing. This is review a long time coming, yet my issue remains unresolved. On June 26th, 2015, I went to this store to upgrade my phone from an iPhone 4 to a Galaxy S6. Everything went fine; I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Flash forward to September 30th when I happen to catch a glimpse of the bill and see that my data plan is 3GB, which I found odd since I am grandfathered in with unlimited data. (I'm on a family plan and never switched because of the unlimited data. My parent receives and pays the bill each month and I just auto transfer my portion to them every month.) I call AT&T customer service to make sure this is just some kind of error. Nope, not an error. My unlimited data plan had been changed to a capped data plan of 3GB when I upgraded my phone. Unfortunately, because I caught the mistake outside of AT&T's 90-day change grace period, I have not been able to get my old, unlimited data plan back. The majority of the AT&T customer service reps I have spoken with remain adamant that this was the sales person's error, but I have done some online research about this problem, and I'm not the only one with the problem, nor is it localized to this particular store. I suspect this is more of a systematic AT&T issue, but nonetheless, this store shares at least some of the blame. BUYER BEWARE: If you are upgrading to a smartphone with unlimited data, be sure to check your bill the next month to make sure your data plan hasn't been unknowingly switched. read more

I've got to say I have been annoyed with AT&T for quite a while now. Since they merged with direct tv they have gone downhill. My day started when they canceled my line instead of suspended the service bc whenever you call them no one can speak English. I was on the phone with them for 6 hours on the 23rd, then told to go to a location to make it faster. Well I was at this location til way past close & they still couldn't solve my problem. Nikki the supervisor on duty was so helpful. She took my cell number and personally called me on her day off to check what the status of my phone was the next day. I had advices her that the rep that had taken the SIM card number on the phone & IMEI number on the phone had taken them completely incorrectly from her & me. What a nightmare and a wast of 2 & 1/2 days on the phone, mind you I've got Stage 4 breast cancer & a full time job & 5 kids to raise. I literally felt like I was going to collapse. But Nikki went above and beyond to try to fix what was not her problem. I would recommend this store! read more
