I went in to get a quote for fixing my broken screen on my iPhone 7 plus. I was given a price of…read more$179. I told him that I was going across the hall to find out my buy-out for my phone at US Cellular to see if it made sense to spend money to fix my screen. The other employee was waiting in the hall for me to come out of US Cellular and told me they could fix it for $150 they were going to give me a "deal". I had them fix it, only to then have my phone not work. I could no longer hear out of the "ear speaker". I went back the next day and he said he was going to order a part they didn't have it in stock, which lead me to believe that this happens often and that they could fix it. I was told to come back in 2 days. I went back in 2 days, now the story was 1 in 70 iPhones the speaker sensor will break if the screen is changed. Now, that is not what they told me 2 days prior. I was then told he would take my $150 and put it towards a new phone from Apple and whatever the difference would be I would only need to pay half, and don't be worried he told me because he could get a deal. Might I add that he stated that he would need my phone for 24 hours to switch it over. I needed a few days to figure out what to do. Today I went back into the store and requested a full refund. I was then told by one employee who had "the owner" on the phone that my only option is to get a new phone through him. My main issue is that the customer is not warned that if their phone is taken apart to fix the screen that the sensor may break and that they would need a new phone. Nor did the people at your store, which they claim they just found out with my phone. A customer should have the correct information to make a decision to have the screen fixed and possibly be able to hear from the phone or live with a broken screen which the phone is still functional. Tonight the "owner" was not in the store, the person working in the store said he was out to dinner with his family for his mother's birthday and he would come talk to me at the store I was working in. I walked down the hall in the mall and guess who was hanging out with other mall employees......."the owner". He ignored me and went behind a kiosk. I then walked passed the employee that was in the store and he was looking down at the "owner" and I informed him how terrible and unprofessional their customer service is and they themselves. "The owner" has yet to resolve this issue. These guys lie just to make a buck, don't trust them. They do not know what they are doing. I have sent emails to the head Dr. Repair company they do not respond either. I am a mall employee and I cannot even imagine that the owner and another employee would treat customers this way! Unfortunately I didn't have my card on me that is tied to account payment, but I was told that I could go home, enter the card info and complete the purchase in app. So, that is exactly what I did. I received confirmation and drove all the way back to the store. When I arrived, I let someone know I was picking up a phone that I purchased through the app and... nothing. No phone. Even when I was told that it would be held. Apparently another employee canceled my order a few minutes after I left home to pick it up because another customer wanted to buy it. Now that's some real BS right there. Because even though it was confirmed sold, and noted for in-store pickup, it was sold out from under me. The only option I was left with was to order through the app and hope the phone arrived in time to transfer data and drop off back at the store before my upcoming vacation. Luckily I only had to wait a week, and had a couple days leeway to do the transfer and drop off. But the entire experience was just disappointing.

Went back in and I was told they could either take their new battery out and since they disposed of my old one I can have my Mac back with no battery if keep the Mac for 3 days so they can run diagnostics on it. My biggest complaint is that they were not upfront with me in telling me that if the battery did not fix the problem, they would make the situation right. On top of that they gave me the Mac back with the new battery. They did not do a battery reset so I had to do that. Overall, customer experience was terrible and I felt like I was lied to from the very beginning they made it sound like everything was going to be fixed, and if it wasn't fixed, then they would take care of me, but upon further investigation they just wanted more money to run more tests on the Mac. 10 out of 10 would not recommend this company!

Before my billing due date, I emailed him to check in but didn't hear back, so I ended up going back into the store. When I spoke with him in person, he let me know he had seen my email but had been busy and wasn't able to reply yet. That said, he did help me once I came in, and I really appreciated how empathetic and understanding he was about the situation. I've been with Spectrum (previously Time Warner Cable) customer for over 10 years, and right now I'm happy with my current service and the customer service I've received at this location.

To make things worse, my service was shut off over this disputed charge, even after I made payments. As a single parent and disabled veteran, I rely on my phone for communication, including VA medical calls. The mobile service is okay, but the lack of accountability and poor customer service is unacceptable. I will be leaving Spectrum Mobile as soon as I can.
