Hands down the worst customer service I've ever dealt with in my life. My husband and I ordered a…read morenew phone online for myself and we went into this store to help me set it up. I stupidly had ordered a Verizon phone (I have Sprint), so that part is my fault. However, the rudeness was so unnecessary and abrupt. Even upon entering the store, they didn't say hello, didn't ask us if we need help, nothing. It was not only uncomfortable, but very uninviting. You could tell they just didn't want any customers and they didn't want to be there. Also, typically a good/professional customer service employee asks you what else they can help you with and they at least try to help you find a new phone in their store. My husband and I felt like they basically pushed us out of the store. Very miserable guys there.

Great amount of pipe fittings, odd items like SC Johnson paste wax, and craftsman professional tools!!! Even sears doesn't have craftsman professional screwdrivers in stock. For me, this was a fun place to shop when I was in college and I guess, in many ways, it still is. While they have aisles of overpriced, inferior-quality items, like cheaply-made clothing and jewelry, they still have cool pop culture items, like TV show and faux vintage rock t-shirts. There are still some good bargains in here, especially during clearance sales. Watch out for the clearance bins at the front of the store- I got a Homeland t-shirt for $2.99! Plus, they sell funky pop culture & retro buttons and lots of vinyl records. Gotta love the vinyl, right? Hot Topic does have the odd assortment of clothing made of rubber, corsets, baby doll dresses, and S & M attire that a fledgling dominatrix or porn star would probably drove over, but I just bypass that stuff. It's like Noir-lite in here. Customer service is a mixed bag- they are either all over you or leave you to your own devices completely. I never expected much in the way of customer service here, so it's not of particular importance. It's a Hot Topic, duh!
