Came in with a need to transfer 3 phones from AT&T to Verizon. Ended upgrading all 3 phones to new…read moreiPhone 14. The transaction was lengthy and complicated. We paid for the tax on the phones (all we were told was due at the time) at the store (the remainder on the phones would be charged over the next 30 billing periods). We were also advised that the initial Verizon billing would have charges for 2 billing periods (the current and the next in advance) as well as one-time $35 charges for each phone. All of that was properly communicated and understood. Upon returning home and looking at the details of the invoice from the Victra store, we were charged $30 each for the 3 phones as a set up charge by the store (separate from the $35 per phone initial fee charged by Verizon on their first bill). This $90 in fees was never mentioned or disclosed by the sales girl. I've later come to learn that this is a fee not charged by Verizon corporate stores. Victra is an authorized Verizon dealer, but not a Verizon corporate store. So buyer beware at Victra. While Deanna was helpful in setting up our phones and new Verizon account, her failure to mention these fees was 100% shady. Don't let them charge you or just take your business to a proper Verizon corporate retailer.

We also planned to trade in three old phones, get new iPhone Pro Max devices, and add two tablets. From the very first visit, the experience was a nightmare. Our first visit took four hours just to get started, and at the end, when the salesperson named Ronald opened the boxes, we discovered he had ordered iPhone 17 Pro instead of iPhone 17 Pro Max. He had to redo everything, but he managed to fix only two phones that day. I had to come back the next day to continue the process. The second day wasn't any better. We planned to complete the third phone and get the tablets, but we ended up getting only one tablet. The salesperson ordered the third phone for delivery--but once again, we received a message saying he ordered the wrong phone (17 Pro instead of 17 Pro Max). I had to go back again to fix the issue, but he couldn't cancel the order. We had to wait for it to be delivered and then send it back ourselves, which we did. When we returned for the third phone, we discovered yet another problem: the system showed that we still owed money for the wrong iPhone 17 Pro we never ordered. We spent another three hours trying to fix that issue. On top of all this, the store has no restroom and not enough seating for customers. Every visit felt like preparing for another frustrating, time-wasting experience. The employees' lack of knowledge and repeated mistakes made this the worst customer service we have ever dealt with.

As I look at my phone now, it's at one bar thank goodness. Looking around I was trying to find answers for my low services but regardless I was going to keep ATT this time around. Two representatives greeted me and throughout my conversations with them, they were NOT trying to upsell me or treat me like a "whatever." They actually offered pretty decent solutions to my current problem and also provided me with other directions within ATT in case it comes down to it. This felt like actual conversations with actual people. Alyssa and Simon, thank you for your time and for listening to me at the store. It's a relief to have an actual set of ears in the store and to express some level of empathy. I didn't feel alone finally with this limited reception situation so thank you, guys.
