I did a search and Phones Plus Computer Repair was the closest to me. I must say Enrique is the best. He's very knowledgeable and patient with me. I am suffering with Bell's Palsy and I have trouble talking because of it. There was no judgement at all. I am from NYC and there is a place in Forest Hills Queens I used to go to which is similar to Phones Plus Computer Repair. I went there for close to 10 years. In the past, Living in Florida, I used to ship my ipad or iphone to them in New York however, I had to pay for shipping sending and receiving. It was costly using UPS ground. I trusted the place in NYC. I will be a repeat customer. I felt taken care of. The store was immaculately clean and everything in it's place. I loved it. I have been to a few other place in Plant City and Brandon and the service is not as good as Phones Plus Computer Repair. I compared three different local companies. This was the only place that would replace the screen with actual iPhone glass, rather than an off brand, which I've heard can cause some issues down the road. They also gave me the lowest quote. Bonus! I was able to chat with them via FB messenger, which was super helpful. They told me it would be $60 plus tax, no appointment necessary and that it would take about an hour. Today, I walked in and was greeted right away, showed them my phone, they gave me the same quote, took my info and my phone. The shop is located in a strip mall, which worked out well for killing the time. There's a pizza place, Cuban deli, doughnut shop, even dog grooming (if you're multitasking), and right down the road is Breuster's, if you want an ice cream treat while you wait. We went next door for some pizza for lunch and were ready to pick up my phone. My phone was ready and all pretty and shiny and new! It's amazing the difference when you get used to shards of glass sticking out everywhere. They charged what they said they would, they were both so nice and friendly, and they did an awesome job! I wanted to try this out because I shattered the screen on my IPhone 6S and didn't want to travel all the way to Brandon or Tampa for the Apple Store. I immediately called Apple to schedule an appointment after I found out how much the repair was going to cost. The repair was going to be $265 just to fix the screen and would take a few days to order the part and required a deposit. I went online and researched Apple and saw I could get the same repair for $129. I scheduled an appointment with Apple the next day and it was fixed in 1 hour. Beware of the costs from this store and stick to Apple.
