Matt from this store is the Best! I went in looking for a phone for my husband and got me a super good deal and then mentioned that with a minor change to my plan, I could save like $30 on my bill. I like savings and it was a quick change. I went back in a short time later to add my daughter to my plan and spoke with Matt again (and someone else who's name I don't remember) and we changed the plan again and even with adding a line he got my bill down another $5. While we were talking, I mentioned the business account I manage and he referred me to a wonderful business rep that I didn't already have. The store is always clean. Has a good variety of products, what you would expect in a retail phone store. I would recommend. read more

If i could give ATT negative 5 I would. Went to add my phone number to post paid from prepaid and the employee added a whole new line. He then said he couldn't remove it I had to call customer service. I called customer service and she said he did that so he could make commission on a sale and it was too late to remove because he put it in the contract without telling me. I have never ever had a good or helpful experience with anyone in the store or on the phone with the customer service center. Seems like not a single soul at ATT knows how to do anything they are supposed to be trainee to do. read more

This place couldn't care less about people. You better plan on sitting around for an hour before someone acknowledges you. Every interaction is treated like they are out to a lunch with a friend. Everything is a slow lazy process. I hate this place. But I have my number with them. I will probably switch carriers. read more

AT&T Store - People just standing around. - Mobile Phones Near Me - Cedar Rapids, Iowa

So I needed my own form of communication when I moved back to 'merica, so it was time to take a look at phones and plans. Unfortunately pay-as-you-go plans are just not as good as ones in Europe, so I just had to find one that was not super expensive, but provided the services I needed. I decided on AT&T, so off I went to the store. The place was pretty much dead and one of the staff members asked if he could help. I explained what I was looking for and he got out a pamphlet and he pointed out the $50 plan and the $0.10 text/minute plan, but nothing in the middle. Then he pointed out the phones from across the store and that was about it. It was super quick for him to set it up, but there was no explanation about any of it... not even, "Do you have any questions?" or "Can I help you with anything else?" At the time I guess I just figured there must not be anything to really understand about the whole thing, but about 4 visits to an AT&T store here in San Diego (I've since moved) and experiencing the customer service they provide and having to have them clear up and help me with the phone/plan... clearly many of these visits could have been prevented had the store bothered to explain a little bit more about the plan. It isn't like they were pressured to try and help other customers because we were the only ones there. read more

Worst AT&T store I've been in. Extremely rude man, who attempts to lie about an issue with my SIM card being something they cannot fix in-store. While waiting for a manager, I heard him lying to the lady he was assisting, telling her that she is unable to remove MDM profiles from iPhones and to instead buy a Samsung Android if security was her primary concern. The lady manager came out and solved my SIM card issue in moments - despite the belligerent and foolish guy's claims it wasn't possible in store. It'd be one thing if he were simply mistaken, but his hostile and rude attitude eliminated any benefit of the doubt he may have deserved. I feel sorry for the lady he was working with - she was clearly not tech savvy (nor was her dishonest salesman) and she likely spent tons on a new phone with an unfamiliar operating system because this salesman falsely convinced her that her iPhone 5S was done for due to a simple company BYOD MDM profile being installed on it.... I omit his name in this review, but have passed it on to the regional office. read more

I'm from out of state; needed help transitioning my iPhone 6 to my already purchased iPhone 7. I spoke to Wes before arriving several hours later. I can't say enough good things about this young man. He was professional, courteous, knowledgeable, quick to set up my iPhone 7, and helped me with my decision to purchase other store products. AT&T The customer service you all continue to demonstrate is absolutely atrocious! I switched phone providers and have had continued problems receiving what I signed up for. I called in again today as I'm trying to provide the requested info to receive my visa card for your switch plan. I spoke with 7 different agents on one call all of which continued to transfer me to a different departments! One even put me back in the the general customer service queue. I spent over 45 minutes on the phone and eventually was told I have to go back into the AT&T store which I know is a lie as I got assistance with someone last time I called! I want my old phone back that you've now basically stolen from me without giving me what was agreed upon. That phone was paid off by me to my old provider and you haven't given me the funds promised or the assistance to give what's needed. I WILL ABSOLUTELY be leaving your company once my contract is up.
