Worst customer service experience we've had in a very long time. If you have questions or need help, do not go to this store- especially if you get Mikey. He was condescending, short, annoyed, rude, spiteful and overall mean. I could tell from the moment he approached us that he didn't want to be there, but we tried to be friendly. We had questions about our upgrade, billing and our family lines. So we wanted to take our time and understand the changes we were making. Mikey talked down to us and wouldn't explain things adequately. And when we asked for clarification, he blamed us for our own confusion. We didn't feel welcome. We needed a solution so we suffered through his distaste and got out of there as quickly as we could. Distraught over the experience, I had to say something so that no one else has to endure this kind of service. And I hope ATT has better representatives that can uphold the standard of basic customer service. I understand that we are all human and have bad days but this kind of treatment of others shouldn't be in a position so client facing. If you can't handle human interaction with common decency and empathy, please find a job that limits your exposure. We are all struggling in this world and we forget to be kind to one another. I was unable to set up my cellular phone to my apple watch. Went to this AT&T store and received great customer service from Jose Rivas. He was very patient and knowledgeable about the problem I was having connecting my watch to iPhone. He was even able to figure out logins that I had forgotten!! Thank you sooo much Jose!!! read more

My wife and daughter recently stopped by to upgrade their iPhone 13s. She specifically advised the Rep, "Monica," that she wanted to upgrade both phones to the 16 Pro 256-gig (both phones were previously 256-gig). The rep then went to the back, grabbed two phones, and handed them to her, and of course, in good faith, my wife trusted that she gave her what she specifically asked for and didn't stop to verify the iPhone boxes (a fault on her part). They both walk out, open the phones and, as they start to set them up, realize they were 128-gig phones. We then go back the next day to advise them of the mishap, and they decide to penalize her with a supposedly non-wavable $50 restocking fee for each phone, and of course, "Monica" denies that my wife specifically asked for 256-gig phones. Moral of the story: verify your purchase before stepping out and opening them!!! The exceptional customer service that once was is officially dead at AT&T. read more

From the moment we walked into the AT&T store in Cedar Hill, we knew we were in good hands. Each employee was attentive and took care of us efficiently and kindly. We were given accurate information and directions for how to proceed with upgrading our phone. Due to some intermediate steps we need to take on our end, we made an appointment to return with the same kind employee, Giovanni. Later that same day, we went in looking for a certain phone case. They didn't have any in stock, but they suggested we lead to another store that did have them. Ordered and paid tax for phone on website but picked here to get the phonevinstead of shipped, first made me wait long, then wouldn't release my phone because my ID wouldn't scan( another store said they could have over-rided that feature). Well, what can we say about an AT&T store? 2 years ago when I moved from an iPhone to my Note 2 I went to this store and received amazing service from someone who had one. He was great and made sure I had all of my contacts and things moved to the new device. This time was different... I went in to upgrade to the Note 4 and got someone who looked young enough to be in fast food. She didn't help me make sure I moved everything or uploaded to the cloud... so I lost a ton of contacts in the move... but OH, it gets better. I went on a Sunday and get the new phone. I'm there a while and about 45 min into re-organizing when the young lady and a manager walk over to me. She had been gone a while after all and I didn't even know what happened... when he says "we have some bad news, we can't sell you THAT exact phone... we have to give you another one" try as I might to not lose it and throw the phone against the wall... I'm told that the computer roll over created some glitch. Furious I start working on the new phone and the manager offers me a case for my troubles... ok, I'm not so mad anymore. I leave only to have a nagging feeling a couple of days later. I'm worried that my unlimited plan hadn't carried over (don't ask me why)... so I call to double check. BAM... damn if I wasn't right. They had to put a ticket in to fix the issue. Inconsistent is the name of the game here... some great, some not. We walked in the store only needing one thing and walked out with a few deals! Jacob Mireles was an amazing store expert. Kind, knowledgeable about his products, perfect recommendations and patient with my fiancé and I. I needed to get my work phone moved over to my fiancée's personal account. He got us going with that and I was able to keep my number, as well as upgraded his iPhone 6 to an iPhone 8, upgraded our plan, upgraded our iPad, and even gave us a sweet deal on some accessories. All while managing the store! If he's not a manager, he certainly should be. I told him I would leave this review so I hope he sees it! I have been trying to cancel my parents cell phone accounts with ATT for 3 years now I am my parents legal guardian and my parents have not been able to use a cell for at least 3-4 years. I initially canceled their cell phone accounts in 2016 or thought I had. But the bills kept coming. I tried again, Same result. In 2017 I went into a store and brought all the legal documentation showing I was the legal guardian and got a result of some of 6 months of the 12 or so months billed after I had shut down the account refunded, and the account closed. At least I thought I had! (The customer support guy in the store was great and seemed outraged also by the situation). However no refund and the bills continue. After spending 5 or so hours on the phone today being hung up on with the end result being told they can't help me because I can't remember the pin code to phones my parents haven't had in 3 years, I am told I need to go into a store again with the legal documentation in order for anyone to be able to help me in any way. In the interim my mother passed away but they are still sending her bills. Absolutely unbelievable! Perhaps the worst customer service I've every experienced.. The staff were rude and did not respond well with customer interaction, from first contact to sales representative. I was not greeted or treated with a level professionalism. They had an attitude that they didn't want to be there, or they didn't want to talk with me. I understand these are crazy times; however, they only waited on one customer at a time. All others waited outside. I needed a replacement battery for my phone and the salesman immediately wanted to sell me a new phone. After continuing to ask about changing the battery, he finally told me they don't provide that service. I have had the worst experience since I decided to sign back on with AT&T. I should have trusted my instinct and never signed up. I called on 8/7 and upgraded my cell, got DIRECTV Now and internet. I was previously with Spectrum and ended up paying 20$ less. I cancelled my internet service with Spectrum the day before my installation which was 8/18. The tech said he couldn't install bc of the wiring not being connected and that I will have service for sure the next week and someone would contact me. I had an incident before and made sure to confirm it would be a week and someone would call. One week later--- no word. I called to find out nothing had been done and I would have to wait until Monday for someone to call. No one called. I called and was told that the contractor would complete my work and I would get a call to set up an appt with a tech that same day. I confirmed this several times!! I tweeted a complaint. Someone was assigned- he took my info and I never heard from him again. I called and finally got a date set up one entire month after my original order date. I asked to speak to manager to get the 99$ installation de waived-- the rep took transferred me over to a line that just rang and rang. I NEED the internet to work from home and all of my kid's homework assignments are online--- I cannot even watch Direct Tv now bc that runs off wifi!!! I would never recommend AT&T to anyone. This ATT store is PATHETIC! Megan (store manager) makes HER OWN policy on what SHE wants to do. ATT sent me over to exchange a IPHONE4 under the 14 day replacement policy. Of course SHE says NO you go take it to Apple??? What? Are You kidding me??? Long story short AFTER calling ATT support again (they sent me their in the first place) and telling them the story, which they could not even believe, Megan (was forced) by ATT support to replace the phone. It is a shame this store handles its customers this way. My suggestion is to AVOID this store and use anyone else unless you have time and patience to call ATT support to make this store honor ATT 14 day return policy. PLEASE stay away from Megan and this store! After trying to get an explanation from Megan on WHY? I gave up and called ATT again, they felt so bad about what happened they gave me a $200 credit on my bill and replaced the phone. My 89 year old mother went in this store to cancel her cell service. After being pressured by their high pressure salesmen ( Souk) she came home with a phone and uverse package. When I call the store to get it cancelled, Souk got and attitude with me. He then did a three way call with uverse so I could get the package cancelled and started back up with his attitude. The lady at uverse told him" Souk you either be quite or leave the call". This store is very high pressure and has VERY rude sales personal. My advise is to avoid this store at all cost !!! I don't know what their qualifications are to work at this AT&T retailer but it must be to be rude & unprofessional! Went in to get a screen protector for my new phone and an employee by the name of "Bo" assisted me. When I told him I was there to get a new screen protector because the one that was previously put on had came off, he rudely said he would look or another screen protector and put it on my phone but it would be difficult because of the round edges of my screen?! Ok?!! They make screen protectors especially for phones like mine, it was just that he was being lazy and didn't want to be occupied with helping me instead wanted to be available for when a sale walked in. Then he came back with a screen protector to put on my phone and clearly DID NOT know what he was doing! In the process of putting on the scree protectors he messed up like two of them!! He then began to get frustrated from his own stupidity and began throwing things around, I then asked to speak to his manager since I didn't want to continue being assisted by him. His manager by the name of "Roger" came and instead of hearing me out as the customer, he took his associate's side and was as rude as him! Now I understand why his employees are rude since he sets an example! I will be taking this up!
