I went in to transfer my wife's phone from Verizon to my AT & T account. Sebastain (sp?) was working. He was exceptionally helpful, very polite and knowledgeable. It took a while working with Verizon, but he was patient throughout, until the transfer was completed. read more

I have bought my last couple of phones at this location and have been happy. The only problem was they had no WiFi which was odd, but not needed. This is a shout out to Anthony. Worst customer service ever if you can even call it that. One single employee sitting doing nothing but being on HIS phone, zero customers waiting. Couldn't even be bothered to help me, or act interested in doing so. Kept referring me to Best Buy. I had questions about opting out of Meta using my data, photos, etc. as this is their phone and service, I tried on my own but was unable . He couldn't even be bothered. Avoid this store at all cost. This is an authorized AT&T retailer store. Save yourself the headache and extra monthly expenses, and go to an actual AT&T retail store. My husband and I made the mistake of upgrading our phones through them, and was misinformed of how much our new cellphone bill would be. ITS ASTRONOMICAL! The manager, and worker who was assisting us basically had no idea what they were doing, and just guessed on how to set up a new line! I should've trusted my gut instincts as soon as we sat down. Unfortunately, we are still dealing with them 4 months later due to not being set up properly on their Iphone BOGO promotion, and paying the price for it. I'm still waiting to hear back from a regional manager, and was informed recently the two employees were fired for not following company protocols. GREAT! I went in to activate a new Apple Watch with cellular and after an hour they were still trouble shooting as to why it wasn't working... it wasn't number syncing between the devices. Meaning that the watch wasn't picking up the call only the phone was. The one associate "helping" me was watching the Winter Olympics the whole time. The manager started assisting him due to the technical difficulties. While they were still fiddling and playing with settings I nicely asked to use the rest room and was told that it wasn't for public use and the closest one was the good will. Listen all I'm saying is that if I pay $220 a month for two phone lines and now I'm adding a watch I shouldn't be having such terrible in store customer service. I left with no resolution. Ended up going to the Best Buy and they had it working in no time. read more

Buyer BEWARE. Be well informed and do your research..do not trust what the employees tell you (or try to sell you!!) This review is long but I feel it's important to let others know exactly what happened to us. Before I explain what happened I'd I would like to preface this with that while we were being helped, the employee helping us was trying to make small talk and ended up talking shit about the previous customer. About how they discussed her situation and the cell phones she wanted. There was a miscommunication about how much money it would be (out the door) and they activated the phones but she didn't have enough when it came to payment...and I quote "She didn't have enough money and it probably made her feel like shit but I don't care. Why choose a phone you know you can't afford? And make us go through all that paperwork for nothing." (Which from what I understood she probably just didn't realize taxes and activation fees) it was so uncomfortable and unprofessional to speak about a customer in front of another in that way!! My boyfriend and I are very passive people and felt uncomfortable so we just awkwardly laughed and agreed with him. We definitely felt like something was off with him... OUR SITUATION: Came in just to talk about possible iPhone deals and was asked what tv provider we use. Told the guy we use their AT&T NOW (formally DIRECTV NOW) service. He asked how we were liking it and told him we have trouble frequently with error messages and shows freezing/starting over. He said he had a solution for us, the AT&T TV box. He talked it up and told us it's only $20 (& today was the last day for the offer). When we agreed to get it he said we had to pick the channels and we chose the basic, then he said it's $50/ per month. We were confused..turns out he meant it's a different service than our AT&T NOW (we currently pay $35). He never explained that, he made it seem like we were just buying a box to use with our existing service. We started talking among ourselves if it's worth it, which he kept inserting himself into the conversation. He started to explain that the NOW version is becoming obsolete and the TV will be taking over in the future so we should just switch now. We trusted him and he explained that since there will be a difference in our monthly bill he can see how to lower our wireless bill to even things out. Even offering us a $100 credit if we take it today. (Which we never got) As we were giving him our basic info we thought he would start explaining more details after, but before we know it he's asking for a card to charge. While my boyfriend and him were going over some more info, I googled on my phone what the difference between AT&T TV and NOW is. Turns out the price ANDDDDD a contract. NOT ONCE DID HE MENTION A CONTRACT. And on our current NOW account we are contract free. I asked my boyfriend to ask him and he quickly said yes It's on a contract (with nothing else, like he didn't want to discuss it). He started setting it up and I asked how long the contract was for, he replied quick and abrupt again "one year. That's it." While we continued the device set up he said we could save about $20 on our wireless but didn't tell us how or what would change. He just said to come in and they can handle it. No explanation how. I asked again about the iPhone deals/ how to save on a new phone (what we originally came in for) and no help other than yeah trade in would probably be your best bet. OUR SOLUTION: After we left the store very uneasy about our service, we decided to call customer service. The whole no explanation of a contract and now paying more a month than we had before walking in, didn't sit well with us. We felt like we were taken advantage of. My boyfriend started to explain and the guy from customer service sensed a red flag. He said AT&T TV was not available in our state yet and the guy should not have even sold us it!! He said it was all too fishy. He warned us heavily to not activate the box at home on our tv. He also reassured us that the NOW service was not getting discontinued like the employee told us.... He canceled the service/contact, refunded the money, opened a investigation and told us the store would be getting reprimanded. Also that they don't want the box back but we can do a factory reset and gift it to someone in a state that does offer the service, if they'd like to put their own account on it. We don't know the reasoning why the guy would scam us like this but we know now to do our research extensively and ask A LOT of questions before agreeing to anything. The five stars is for Wendy at this location. AT&T is always a pain in the butt- you can never talk to someone on the phone that knows what they are talking about, their app never works, website login is a disaster. But I just wanted to give a shout-out to Wendy for answering all my questions and not trying to sell me something I didn't need. She got us in and out and was pleasant to work with. She also saved an elderly lady from a scammer. Great job, Wendy! read more
