The main concern I had was the devices I had on my previous account being paid for. The rep told me about the trade in program and not to worry. I was told very little about the process so I went to the local store and brought all my phones in. I was told then that the promo was $1k per I-phone in good condition, I had 4. Turned those in and was told once they received them they would reach out and I would gift cards for my phone. Nothing else. Weeks went by so I called every 2 weeks to stay on top of it. I called and spoke to a variety of people who all assured me that it would be ok. Until, I was then informed that the last bill needed to be uploaded, I had failed to upload it and now I was not going to get my credits. I reached out to the person who was assisting me to tell him the problems I was having he sent me a link. I uploaded my bill as of today. I spoke to the reward center. They said that they did receive my bill, but it was not itemized and therefore rejected and there was nothing they could do about it. I received an apology was told that nothing more that they can do ..I beg your pardon?! Nothing more that they can do except take $4000 to be honest each phone cost more than 1000 so therefore this was probably closer to $6000 in devices that were in great condition that I turned over to AT&T. I could've sold those devices out right and paid off my previous carriers bill... However, I was assured once again that it was going to be fine and I was still gonna get my credit that turned out to not be true and now they have my phones which I am confident that I won't get back in a swift apologies is supposed to just make all of that go away... Not to mention I've also had issues with them, adding lines to my service without me asking. Sending me Internet error, which I declined multiple times and charging me for it... They sent it to an address that I used to live at 10 years ago which I never did provide to them And then charge me for the service and the merchandise on that account. I still haven't received my resolution on that issue the bill keeps going up. I was forced to do auto pay, even though I asked not to and I was told them that I was gonna lose my significant discount ..so not only is my service not as dependable as Verizon.. i'm out of pocket four grand and my credit score is dropping because they've sent me to collections because I never received these cards and I don't have 4K just to pay off the old bill... None of what I was told turned out to be true I'm calling a bait and switch on this one and I am reaching out to my attorney to see what options are cause surely at this day and age people cannot just take things and steal them and get away with it. Receiving my phones and not compensating me for them is stealing point blank. I cannot encourage you guys enough to please do not get involved with this company. The service is terrible. The billing is terrible. Even the service is not what it wants was as my phone drops all the time now... The only issue that I had with Verizon was the payment and I was offered at AT&T to be half the price of what I was paying at Verizon now I'm over double what I was paying at Verizon without phones with a declining credit score and all I can get from them is an apology. I don't need an apology. I need someone to rectify this for me before I have to take it into litigation... Where to the wise..Verizon had way better service and never lied to me once. I guess that's what I get because the grass is not greener on the other side.

They are always on their personal phones, making side conversations in front of customers, and will avoid telling you how much anything costs, even when you ask, but try to add it to your account. Save your time and go to a corporate AT&T office.

So this AT&T is typically my go-to store because it's near my work. Also it's typically less busy…read morethan the Apple Store, but busy enough that they know what they're doing. I came in here tonight to get a charger real quick, hoping it would be in & out. But it's the holidays so I knew that that wasn't likely. At first I was irritated that I had to "check in" with my name and number and get on the waiting list. I reminded myself how easily customers can become impatient and how spoiled we are to expecting that everything should always go exactly how we want or we're ready to pitch a fit. It really didn't take long and the manager Jimal expedited me ahead of the line so I could get out quickly. He was very professional and even walked around the counter to open the door for me when I left. I really appreciated him. If I could change anything, I don't like how there's a screen that shows the first names and last initial for those that are waiting in line. I would almost prefer a number for privacy reasons but I think they probably want to give the impression that their customers are more than just a number so I get that. It probably also helps people to be patient when they can see how many people are ahead of them. It would be fun if they did random aliases. So one day you might pick a celebrity like "Rick James" and they call out "Rick James" and you know it's your turn. Did this take a strange turn? I got off track, thanks Jimal!

Don't let them sell you anything, or try to "upgrade" you, or whatever. These people will lie straight to your face. Looking at these reviews, apparently I am not the only one. Maybe it's time for the AG to get involved.

I am very disappointed and disgusted with AT&T as a business. My mom has had her account with them…read moreover 30 years with no perks, discounts, or any benefits to show for decades of dedication and being a loyal consumer! There have been a lot of discrepancies between this local AT&T store and AT&T customer service by phone. They are on very different pages, misinformed, and have no idea what they're doing. Both point the finger at the other placing blame for how the account was messed up and adjusted and how they can't go back in the system to correct it. There are extra fees that aren't accounted for and they had the audacity to charge an $8 late fee for being one day late! 30 plus years of giving this corporation hundreds and thousands of dollars for poor service, black outs, and faulty devices? Thats unacceptable! Our plan was changed from the old grandfather plan without our consent that they claim was because we got upgrades. Why should the service plan change just because we get a new device? Why should we pay more for bad service and less cellular data, mobile hotspot, and all that was decreased with this new plan we didn't ask!?! This is unacceptable! We also had an extra line added we didn't ask for and were wrongfully told the bill would decrease and certain fees will fall off over several billing cycles. I'm over this corporation and will be looking into better service providers soon!
