So this AT&T is typically my go-to store because it's near my work. Also it's typically less busy than the Apple Store, but busy enough that they know what they're doing. I came in here tonight to get a charger real quick, hoping it would be in & out. But it's the holidays so I knew that that wasn't likely. At first I was irritated that I had to "check in" with my name and number and get on the waiting list. I reminded myself how easily customers can become impatient and how spoiled we are to expecting that everything should always go exactly how we want or we're ready to pitch a fit. It really didn't take long and the manager Jimal expedited me ahead of the line so I could get out quickly. He was very professional and even walked around the counter to open the door for me when I left. I really appreciated him. If I could change anything, I don't like how there's a screen that shows the first names and last initial for those that are waiting in line. I would almost prefer a number for privacy reasons but I think they probably want to give the impression that their customers are more than just a number so I get that. It probably also helps people to be patient when they can see how many people are ahead of them. It would be fun if they did random aliases. So one day you might pick a celebrity like "Rick James" and they call out "Rick James" and you know it's your turn. Did this take a strange turn? I got off track, thanks Jimal! read more

Watch them closely for whatever you need them to do. And definitely don't let them do anything that you didn't specifically go to the store for. Don't let them sell you anything, or try to "upgrade" you, or whatever. These people will lie straight to your face. Looking at these reviews, apparently I am not the only one. Whatever you do, DO NOT go into an ATT store for your needs. They make commission clearly and will straight up lie and lie by omission. Went in for a simple upgrade. Was to be an added $15 a month, making my bill $150 for our lines. We were charged over $400 on our bill. They added up next, added insurance, and all kinds of other things that we never asked for, agreed to, or were informed about. That's after paying for all taxes and fees upfront which was around $100. read more

I went in to upgrade my line and the girl that helped me told me about a deal with the new iPhone. What she didn't tell me was that I would have to add another line to my account. She assured me nothing on my account would change. Now my phone bill has raised almost $200! The manager and the girl said I would have to pay to return the phone and buy a new one. read more

This store is horrible!!! I went in the store and Lionel was my sales rep. My daughter and I went to this store and traded in two phones during the promotion they were running where we would get $800 off a new iPhone. Not only did Lionel add a number ( after I pointed out to him that was not one of my numbers) but he DID NOT give me a receipt for my daughters phone she traded in. When I get my bill, not only am I charged for a new line I DID NOT ask for, but I am not getting credit for the phone she turned in. I have called, emailed, and went to the store on numerous occasions, my bill is STILL not correct. They claimed "the phone got lost when it was sent to UPS"!! I called again today and spoke to Destinee, which is suppose to be a manger, and she says she put a claim in with UPS back in May but hadn't heard from UPS. So in other words "its my problem"! Lionel has been avoiding me because he KNOWS he messed up. And Destinee was VERY RUDE and unhelpful to be a "so called manager". DO NOT GO to this store for your ATT services. They are incompetent and rude. I am convinced someone at that store stole my phone is why I am not getting my monthly credit for it 7 months later. If you read their reviews, they are ALL HORRIBLE.. The worst experience ever. Was told I could trade for only taxes - when charged I asked if the monthly rate was the same - she said it was going up $33!! I said no - stop the sale. She took out my SIM card for new phone and didn't put it back - I got home to no cell service - I had to call AT&T and go back to store. I was there with my son to buy a new iPhone and the service representative gave us instructions to do the transfer from the old iPhone to new iphone. Went home and did the transfer and it was successful. Although the new phone isn't activated and we tried online support and I can't help but wonder why the service rep left out telling us how to activate the new phone or was it something he didn't do on his end. I asked him again before we left about the process, and he only referenced the transfer process. read more

Signed in and was #5 on list. Waited and waited and waited. We finally moved up to #2. Continued to wait for a while. I don't mind waiting if everyone is working with customers but when you have 4 staff members standing around holding I Pads and looking at their feet milling around like they were at a boring cocktail party, I finally walked out. Sales Associate whose name I will not mention, was not knowledgeable on a specific yet easy product. Prior to walking into AT&T I spoke with Live Chat to validate that I could order an Apple Series 4 Watch under my plan for someone who WASN'T on my plan. They confirmed I could do so. Got to AT&T and was told that the person whom I was buying the watch for had to be under my plan. I was a bit puzzled and left confused. So I spoke with AT&T again thinking maybe I wasn't making myself clear when I first spoke to them, but they confirmed what the first rep said and went into specific details on how it could be done. The sales associate whom I don't think was paying any attention cause for some reason they were closing earlier than normal hours at that particular location, was too busy looking at the people walking in 30 mins before they closed. I had to legit give her my number 3 times to get into my account, so she clearly wasn't paying attention and confirmed she isn't that knowledgeable. AT&T has got to do better on customer experience. read more

Horrible service. Went there at noon to replace phone which had crashed. New phone was supplied and after 1.5 hours with tech support on the phone figured out they had supplied a cancelled SIM chip which didn't match the serial number on the box and had been previously used for another number. Returned to store and no one would wait on me to correct their error. Never going back. I guess if you are buying something, they could care less about customer service. read more

I went to an authorized retailer and had a terrible experience. I came here because I didn't feel comfortable at the other store. Adam helped me, and it was a great experience. I explained what I wanted, he offered up some money savings ideas, he got my phone, set it up, put on the Lifeproof case I wanted, and rang me up. It was busy, but I never felt rushed. I went in the night before and everyone was incredibly helpful then too. If you need any AT&T services or products, make sure you go to a core store, and not some random place that offers their products. read more

i went into this store on a monday afternoon. was helped right of the bat. thought great. wont take long. WRONG!!! the rep that helped me was trying to sell me another line (i didn't need but with bogo i had to do), wait until my husband could come, 3 trips to talk to manager (like when buying a car!). when all said and done i decided to get the bogo with a new line (could always put a tablet on it) and make the 2nd phone a lot cheaper. he goes to the back again to get the phones and comes out with manager and no phones. i don't have the right plan for the bogo offer. what??? i have been in here 1hr and 15 min and now you tell me this. nope. told them they were worse than buying a car and might change my carrier. for a phone. i just cant do this again. i don't upgrade everytime a new phone comes out. have had mine for about 4 years. this was too much. not this store ever again. side note: i called att and they said i was on a plan that could do the bogo offer. read more
