There was no line when I got there; the man that helped me had a bit of an accent, but we understood one another well enough to joke about how the Apple Genius Bar told me they couldn't fix my phone and had to upgrade to the newest model. He fixed the water damage, gave me a new screen (It was shattered), and it was less than $100. I returned to the shop as instructed, and while they were able to get the flashlight working again, the front camera still does not function. I was told the issue was not caused during the repair, but I have since spoken with another repair professional and Apple support, both of whom confirmed that this type of issue is typically the result of damage during the repair process. Despite bringing the phone back promptly and giving the business an opportunity to fix the issue, they have refused to take responsibility or repair the damage under warranty.I am now forced to pursue further action to resolve this matter.
