There was no line when I got there; the man that helped me had a bit of an accent, but we understood one another well enough to joke about how the Apple Genius Bar told me they couldn't fix my phone and had to upgrade to the newest model. I was told the issue was not caused during the repair, but I have since spoken with another repair professional and Apple support, both of whom confirmed that this type of issue is typically the result of damage during the repair process.
