There was no line when I got there; the man that helped me had a bit of an accent, but we understood one another well enough to joke about how the Apple Genius Bar told me they couldn't fix my phone and had to upgrade to the newest model. He fixed the water damage, gave me a new screen (It was shattered), and it was less than $100. The man that helped me was very knowledgable, so I will be going back again to fix my old iPhone 5c (that Apple told me was obselete).

He continued to insist that it was an easy fix, so I paid the $170 and waited. When I returned, he told me he couldn't fix it and gave me only a partial refund. If they do not give full refunds, THEY SHOULD NOT REQUIRE YOU TO PAY BEFORE THE SERVICE. It seems like a scam to me.

Unfortunately, in between was a very argumentative and disrespectful regional representative that was trying to convince me that I had a different phone than I actually have. He sets a poor standard of service to say the least. Long story short, the issue was resolved,and the repair is as good as new. Thanks to the Sales and Corporate Managers.

I declined and took the phone home where I applied a slight burst of electrical connection spray and scrubbed the port with a small, flexible plastic bristle brush. The end result, the port now works. Conclusion: The same measure could have been applied at this business for a small cleaning fee.
